Tried a new restaurant for my husband’s birthday. He loves steak and I saw the segment about Butcher’s cut on the news. The food was mouth watering and the service was superb. Will definitely be returning.

We had a 7:15 pm dinner reservation to celebrate my husband's 54th birthday. We arrived at 6:45 PM and were seated then. We didn't receive complimentary bread or food until 7:46 pm. What a horrible experience to celebrate a birthday. I requested the manager. She came and offered us coffee, dessert, and a glass of wine. She also ordered us some onion rings that we didn't request to later share with her that my daughter was allergic to onions. Not sure I would go back or refer anyone to this restaurant.

Went with my wife for my birthday. Ordered wedge salad and clams/mussels as starters. Wedge salad was nothing fancy and v basic, literally just lettuce blue cheese dressing and bacon bits. No onion, nothing to make it special. The clams/mussels tasted good but were luke warm

For mains my wife ordered the seafood pasta and I got the filet minion. The seafood pasta was good, my filet was terrible. Again, Luke warm, overcooked and v v v dry. Over seasoned too and was overwhelmed with whatever pepper they put on it. Side we got was lobster Mac and cheese. This was good.

My wife had one glass of house red, I had a jack and coke. Bear in mind apparantly they measure spirit pours here, I couldn’t even taste the jack so sent it back to have more added. Got it back, still v weak.

Another thing was the food came out extremely quickly. We were literally done start to finish in 40 mins. I understand they have less tables at the moment and want to turn over tables, but we felt very rushed.

Total price for everything above was $178 (before tip). Pricey for a very mediocre and unimpressive dinner.

Overall we left very dissatisfied, which was a shame as I had been looking forward to a birthday steak all day! Will not be back and do not recommend.

The service at the restaurant was amazing and our party loved the food. Their dinner special featured scallops, a New York steak, and a lobster tail, all cooked perfectly, which was great to share amongst our party. The rest of the dishes we ordered all lived up to the same standard as our dinner special and all of our steaks were cooked to a flawless medium rare. Along with a wonderful meal, the restaurant brought us complementary dessert to celebrate our friends birthday. We look forward to dining here again!

We ordered our meals , the Wedge Salad to start, a 16 oz NY Angus Center Cut steak and the 20 oz Prime Porterhouse steak cooked Medium Well. The salads were TASTY, steaks were perfectly cooked, seasoned just right , and OH MY GOODNESS SOOOOOO DELICIOUS.

Worth every penny. Seriously. Our waiter was amazing, wish I had caught his name. We were so thankful to be dining out and the staff was courteous , friendly and hospitable all while being safe.

Thank you for having us, really, the pleasure was all ours.

Rib-eye steak was tender and delicious. We celebrated a birthday and had a nice lemon custard cake on the house. The tuna tar tar was very tasty, a little kick of spice at the end. Grilled octopus came out with a pretty large tentacle. The sauce on the IPA top sirloin was very good. We also had the mushrooms and Brussels sprouts, would definitely recommend mushrooms to eat with your steak choice.

The food at The Butchers Cut is amazing, me and my family loved the variety of cuisine. The steaks, seafood, and pasta were all cooked perfectly and my personal favorite was the lobster ravioli. The restaurant has such a great ambiance and all of the staff were very sweet and helpful, and tables were distanced for coronavirus. Will be dining here again soon!

Butchers Cut was such a delight, especially during COVID when menus are limited and dine in is sketchy.

We made phone reservations the morning of for a 7pm dinner. We arrived and were given the option of Patio or Indoor seating. The entire indoors was empty. We opted for indoors. Everything was sanitized and unwrapped in front of us. Tables were spaced out 6 ft or more.

We were offered water still or sparkling immediately at seating. We did wait quite a bit before the waiter returned to take our order but we hardly noticed we were having great conversation. We placed and order for two alcoholic drinks (the names were quite catchy). The drinks were prepared and served in a timely manner. They were delicious! Extra kudos to the bartender.

It was our wedding day. We decided last minute to have dinner before leaving town for the weekend. We chose butchers cut for our wedding day dinner. We decided to order the trio because it had steak lobster mashed potatoes and shrimp. We sat in the middle of the street which was nice and away from the sidewalk which was very busy. We waited a bit for the table which was fine. The service was a bit slow. The restaurant was pretty busy. I had mentioned it was our wedding day and booked on open table a special occasion. Since we couldn’t have our wedding day as planned. This was the only thing we do. The crab cake was just ok. Huge but not great on flavor. The New York steak was not great. It was not flavorful, and a bit chewy. The steak was cold but we were sitting outside. They were able to bring the heater close to our table. They didn’t do anything special for us. Not even ice cream or a small dessert. That really didn’t matter but something nice for our actual wedding day would’ve been nice to make it a memorable part of the day. I will be forgetting the dinner part. Not worth the $220 we paid.

One of the worst filet steaks I've ever had. A medium rare steak should not look brown when you cut it in half. The taste was like tasting the grill it was cooked on..

With no tourists in town you should know that when you can get a table anytime when other restaurants are completely booked (by local's) it's a clear sign locals don't go there as the food is bad.

This restaurant fits the bill.

If you want a steak, go to a real steak house. There are plenty of options, but make an early reservation because the good ones are in demand.

The charcuterie board and grilled octopus was perfect and delicious. The tomahawk steak I ordered was bland and had very little taste. It was closer to Applebee’s quality than what I would have expected for the price or from a place called the Butcher’s Cut. It was woefully disappointing and really let me down.

We had crab dip, pork belly appetizer, veal ravioli, lobster ravioli, filet mignon, and the porterhouse. Everything was good except for the steaks and drinks considering it was a steak house. The service took so long and she kept forgetting our order. It took almost 20 mins just to get a menu. All in all we paid about 600 bucks and would not return.

Due to Covid i do expect that restaurant experiences will be different; however, I would never accept any excuse for poor service. I ordered a Filet Mignon and received it with a very long human hair. Like anyone with this experience, I reported it to my server who took it away. I changed my order to a bass fish that two other guest at my table ordered and the server left and came back 10 minutes later to tell me that they actually gave the last two pieces of bass to my guest during a 7PM dinner. (Very believable right?) I was suggested to try the salmon which at this point I took knowing I came for the meat to get the salmon only 15 minutes after my guest had basically finished their entries. Things got worse for me when the server brought out a random order of greasy French fries with a side of barbecue sauce that we did not order. The server added a sly remark about hoping I was happy as she sat French fries on the table. Now, I will add that myself and my dinner party were African American and that our female server who is pointless to name was clearly raciest or possibly having a bad evening. Either way, as a customer spending lots of money to eat out no one should ever have to feel like a restaurant is anything other than happy to serve its customers. I felt so disrespected and very sad that I had to celebrate an important anniversary at this establishment. To top things off when I got home and checked my $400 bill, I was charged for the Filet Mignon I never took a bite of. This is not the American way. I would not recommend this place at least while this server is there again.

Although I said we were celebrating a bday and no one else was in the entire restaurant, they riding even acknowledge the birthday boy. The food was for the most part bland. My meat seemed to be cooked more medium well than medium and it was bland at best.
