Now home to Black Cactus BBQ, our bar and restaurant in Walthamstow (just 10 minutes from Blackhorse Road) is a bold fusion of world-class cocktails and next-level BBQ. Harry meet us at desk and brought us straight to our table,offered us a complimentary drink. took our drink order and was very polite. food order came out lovely and hot ,food tasted outside full of flavour and cooked to perfection. whole experience was outstanding.

The food, cocktails, and service were absolutely outstanding! I cannot recommend this place enough for an amazing gastronomical experience. The food is so flavorful…highly recommend!

We went early on a Friday night with our three boys. We received a warm welcome, a shot of brandy (adults only) and had a lovely booth near the copper tanks. Delicious cocktails, strong enough to put hairs on your chest! Most importantly it was burger night and they were all banging - absolutely delicious and juicy…and those salt and pepper chips, just wow! We will definitely be back over a weekend to try their BBQ trays and genuinely cannot wait.

The food by Black Cactus is elite level smoke-housery. Second time I’ve been here and can’t wait to come back. Only small gripe was the music was a little loud for my taste but that’s probably just me getting old. If you like meat then it is a must, everything we ordered was superb. Wife also felt the same but argued a little green side dish would have been nice.

Birthday treat and First time at Black Cactus did not dissapoint, we came as a group of 5 hungry lads and was immediately welcomed with a glass of different flavoured Brandy's as we arrived which was a nice touch. We tried all of the starters to share as well as a couple of bacon burgers and were very impressed, the taste of the pork belly bites were some of the best we have ever had The bacon burger was soft and juicy full of flavour and presented nicely, the beef, pickles and cheese croissant was a bit of a game changer as we hadn't had anything like it before and would definitely recommend. Onto the sharing platters where we had pre ordered 3 I can tell you firstly that this was definitely enough meat for the 5 of us lads and secondly these platters had soo much flavour and were presented very well, the pulled pork with the little pieces of crackling mixed in was Top Tier, the beef did not need a knife and melted in the mouth like butter, the hot link sausages had great flavour all complimented by a home made potato egg salad which again was probably the best I've ever had Not being big on salads we were all quite impressed with what I'm guessing was a grilled lettuce with a tasty sauce and parmesan cheese grated on top, it was nice to enjoy something like this to break up the meal Lastly we were given a taste of there very own Coffee Liqueur which was soft and slightly sweet on the nose and had a hint of caramel flavour 10/10 This lead us to buy 3 bottles to take away with us. Ultimately this was a great experience, the very friendly upbeat staff and not forgetting the hard working passionate guys that cooked our delicious food made this extra special Thank you very much we will be back soon

It was overrated , it just seemed like a burger I could get at any Wetherspoons . I bought a friend there for his 30th birthday and was a bit embarrassed as we travelled for 2 hours to get there. It was a cool venue but just very disappointing…
