Welcome to Burnt Faith’s Brandy House Bar – where we break the rules of brandy-making and push the boundaries of flavour.

Now home to Black Cactus BBQ, our bar and restaurant in Walthamstow (just 10 minutes from Blackhorse Road) is a bold fusion of world-class cocktails and next-level BBQ. Black Cactus brings their award-winning, Texas-style BBQ straight from the pit, using time-honored techniques, live fire, and offset smokers to craft meats that are rich in tradition yet fearless in innovation.

          Absolutely incredible! Birthday meal and was incredible, well worth the money. We had the bbq tray and croissant and would highly recommend.

          Black Cactus is now my favorite bbq spot here in London. Everything was so amazing and delicious. I had the platter with the ox cheeks and it was the best I’ve had. The ox cheeks was by far the best piece. It was so soft and melted. I loved the pork with it crackling in it for the extra crunch. Both sauces paired well with everything. The drinks we really good especially the complimentary shot of bourbon from Burnt Faith, a really good flavor with little to no burn. Yum!!

          Absolutely delicious food, best meat I've had! The staff were lovely and the cocktails were amazing. A must go in the area, a bit off the track but so worth it!

          We've been here twice now; once in February on the second day of opening & we just went on Sunday for Black Cactus colab with Rubens Rubens, both times have been unreal. The venue is a wicked brandy distillery called Burnt Faith Brandy House London; the cocktails & home brewed brandy are beautiful (specially the apple brandy really compliments & cuts through the delicious animal fat) The staff are lovely & accommodating, music is upbeat & welcoming, the kitchen is half-open, so you get a sneak peak into the magic. What these lads are creating is beautiful; responsibly sourced incredible cuts of meat, nurtured with marinades, babysat slow cooks & well thought out fun side dishes. Our stand out favourites were berkshire pork belly burnt ends (the fat is SO melty & fit) with burnt peach chamoy glaze, zinger puffed crackling & watermelon rind & the umamilicious hispi wedge, with ancho butter, poblano romesco, feta cheese. Had a chat with the lads behind Black Cactus, who told us all about the love & care & hours that go into all the dishes. Lovely guys & we felt privileged to be eating their food. We will absolutely be back again. Desperate to try the smoked & aged fatty cheeseburgers burgers on a Friday & the Sunday lunch BBQ tray.

          Great venue friendly and welcoming staff and if they get the product right good value but unfortunately good quality meat ruined by over spicing couldnt taste anything even the coleslaw had spices in it it was such a shame they have a great product

          The food was exceptional. I’m not sure what wizardry is being created in the kitchen but wow! Keep doing what your doing 🙌🏻 Service was fantastic too. Would definitely return
