The veggie pasta was watery and garlic overpowered everything. I understand Utah has strange liquor laws so they wanted to charge me 75 cents to taste a wine by the glass that had been opened more than 24 hours previously to ensure it wasn't oxidized. But the refusal to open a new bottle was the bartenders choice, not the law. I work in the wine industry and we all know the price of the first glass of wine covers the cost to the establishment of the entire bottle. That refusal meant the restaurant does not put their customers first. We won't be going back and we won't be recommending Buona to anyone. You should avoid it too.

Patrick our server was very attentive and a great waiter. The food was very good. Fresh Calamari Fritti for an appetizer and I had the Salmon Piccatta (Fettucini) which was very good. My companion had the Gnocchi Al Funghi which she also said was very good. They had an excellent selection of Italian wines too. I had a really good glass of dry red from Montepulciano. Dessert was a wonderful Tiramisu with a candle for the birthday person. 😀

Wonderful food with very nice servers. I ordered a half Mista salad with Buschetta appetizer for my entree, which I shared. The Classico Chianti wine was excellent.

Five of us enjoyed dinner. The restaurant was a bit busy, so the service was marginal. Food was excellent. They forgot to pack up one plate of leftovers.

That was are second time there. Our first was me and my wife and everything was great. Second we brought 3 of our friends and they loved it to. Price and food fast great and price value is awesome. We had the same server both times and I'm sorry I forgot here name but we love her service. We will be back forsure.

If you’re looking for an authentic Italian restaurant this probably isn’t it. Buona Vita has very much a typical Park City wooden bar vibe. You’d expect a bunch of local beer options and a menu offering burgers and fries. The main courses were a nice surprise given how disappointing the appetizers were. The pizza appeared to be sourced from the frozen food isle of a local grocery store. 🙁 The chicken Parm and Sausage Penne were really quite nice. 👍🏻 Service was attentive. Young and very friendly. Typically international students / temp workers which is very common for Park City. 👍🏻 Overall just ok. Do not order the calamari or bruschetta. 😬

Hostess sd we were late for reservation, that is for 7:45, had confirmation it was 8, we waited 20 minutes to be seated , once seated, things went better, food was great, we weren’t offered dessert, which was a bummer cuz planned on taking some to go, overall it was ok, would probably give it another shot

IMPORTANT NOTE the waitress and other servers were absolutely terrific. My complaint is with the hostess. We had a reservation for 7:15 and called to let them know we were running few minutes late. We arrived just after 7:20. The restaurant was wide open with several tables but the hostess insisted on seating us at the table directly next to a 15 top with little children spread out into our table she was seating us at. We asked to sit at a table further away to allow those patrons space as well as our party of 5 space. The hostess responded with “no you will have to wait because my servers can’t go to the other tables”. I asked “is it possible to send a waiter ten feet further to the empty table ?” She said “no you were late for your reservation so you lost your table”. I have NEVER been met with such rudeness. She proceeded to prop herself up in the counter and go on her phone while we waited for the other party to finish since they were sitting at their table and the one table this hostess was offering us. We eventually insisted on speaking to a manager and in the end she was apologetic and offered any table in the restaurant. They may want to consider keeping her away from their customers. She isn’t an asset

The place was hard to find but after we found it, they sat us outside and the weather was good but the noise was intermittent because of motor cycle and loud cars. The food was good with very generous portions and the service was great.

This restaurant always serves a good meal. We shared a small Miata salad and it was great. We had chicken parmigiana and chicken Marsala. Both great. Plenty left for us to take home. Also liked the noodles and red sauce. Cannoli very good, same with drinks. Not as pricey as other Park City places , quality was excellent.

Yummy food. Great service. Loved it Only thing is online, the menu has crème brûlée but at the actual restaurant, it’s not in the menu. We were really looking forward to it, but everything else was fantastic! We’ll eat here again for sure.

We really enjoyed the high quality food and thoughtful wine list. The only con—not a big one—is that the patio area isn’t segregated so you wind up with a lot of foot traffic coming through.

Party of 6 service was very good. Calamari appitizer very disappointing. 8 thin round rings. When ordering wine waitress asked if I would like to taste two wines I was contemplating but neglected to mention the $5 charge to do so. It’s not the amount it’s the fact it wasn’t mentioned. Food was pretty good everyone liked their meal.

Perfect Italian Dining Experience! Starting with crusty toasted Italian bread with Olive oil & balsamic for dipping. Delicious Appetizer of fried ravioli with marinara. Excellent Service provided by Raul, knowledgeable, helpful suggestions and accommodating. Entrees were large and perfectly prepared, beautifully presented with a subtle garnish. Definitely more of a homemade style without the pretense common in resort towns. The bus service was a bonus, smiling, pleasant & efficiently executed. Dessert - Cannolis to go… and they were also, “to die for”. Winner Winner Buona Vita, For Dinner!

Food was mediocre. Ordered calamari which contained about 10 rings and nothing special, garlic bread was tasty, 2 pasta dishes which was swimming in cream sauce, 2 glasses of wine. Bill was $110. Not impressed but service was very good and location was convenient.

The food was not very good and extremely expensive for the quality of product. $26 for a bowl of pasta with a few frozen meatballs & bad tomato sauce is a joke. I understand higher pricing due to prime (expensive) location but at least produce decent quality food. I would never recommend this location.

The restaurant has gluten free options on some items, but not the raviolis or the lasagna. It’s best to make a reservation on the Open Table app. When the restaurant is full, the noise level is high. The portions are BIG so you might consider ordering an appetizer or salad and one entree and sharing. Be sure to ask for salt and pepper if you need it along with freshly grated parmesan. The wait staff is very hospitable and welcoming. Enjoy!

Food was excellent- I’m Italian and the red sauce is some of the best I’ve had. We enjoyed the calamari, mushroom ravioli, gnocchi (which they customized for our 8 yo!), and pasta primavera. Very reasonably priced.
