Food and service were excellent. Good value.
So many different flavors of Ravioli....mmmmmm.
Buona Vita was recommended by our hotel but the whole experience was very disappointing...from the service to the quality of food! Very slow service, almost impossible to get a basket of bread with our bottle of wine after asking 3 times, to 2 different servers. Wine list very poor. Don't order the Salmon pasta in the white wine cream sauce, way too rich. I would not return here!
We were seated on this back patio, I assume because we were with our kids. It was a little offensive, our kids are well behaved and wouldn’t have bothered anyone in the main dining room.
Food Was Amazing. Service was Also. Raul and the staff are great. Will be back soon.
The waiter, accidentally, broke my glass of wine and spilled all the wine on my seat. They did not apologize, nor brought another glass of wine back... and at the end, charged us the cost of the glass of wine.
Food was great! Service friendly and attentive
Good food, large portions, good price, friendly staff.
Very authentic Italian, with a solid wine list and pleasant servers.
We always visit Buona Vita when we visit Park City. This was the first time I felt the service and food did not live up to our past experience. The tables were far enough apart during COVID. They also allowed very large tables. I do feel for restaurants, especially favorites and that is why I chose to dine in person. I am sure we will return next year and I hope for improved food and service.
Ok experience, staff was either under prepared or over worked, good portion size but not the quality for the price
They say is a “ristorante Italiano” but they should say American Restaurant.
The fact that they have pasta and pozza doesn’t mi e that is an Italian restaurant.
There is nothing that look like an Italian plate. I’m Italian I live in Italy and I know very well what is an Italian restaurant.
The use of garlic on every single plate isn’t an Italian way of cooking.
The best Italian restaurant from 1 to 3 stars Michelin are garlic free.
Garlic cover the test of everything that way the only plate that we do in Italy with garlic is pasta with garlic olive oil and spicy pepper.
I will NEVER come back! They seated us in the outside tarp! It was ugly, cold, uncomfortable...
They gave us a table for 2, when we where 3...
The tables and chairs where terrible and the food wasn’t good.
We didn’t like it at all.
If you make a reservation the minimum expected is a nice table.
The food was incredible but service would be best described as dismissive. Sort of like they really didn’t want you there.. They have a kids menu it’s not a great restaurant for kids. It’s upscale.
Great food. Good value.
Tried this restaurant on our last night of vacation and absolutely loved it. Charming, cozy and serves delicious food. We all got different things like the chicken parmigiana, the fettuccine Bolognese, and more and loved it all. Highly recommend.
We were in Park city for family vacation. Our dinner was fabulous last year and we were excited to return this year. Our service was fabulous and the food was delicious.
The food was good, but the service was horrible.
First of all we were given a table by the door with many empty tables in the restaurant and no ability to change it unless we wanted to "go outside" [March 23 degrees F - no thanks].
It took forever to get our wine ordered... then they wanted an appetizer order and wouldn't let us order the full meal... then they forgot the coffee....
Food was good, the garlic bread special was really good but really expensive at $8 for the tiniest loaf ever... that said we ordered more but they "ran out" ... but they had bread.... and garlic spread..... so how do you "run out".
I did like the food so will give the place another try.... but in the summer....
Fantastic Italian comfort food!
Heavy on the sauce, noodles swimming in sauce and way too much garlic . Nothing delicate about any of our choices. Then to make matters worse the guy in charge of seating told us our time was up on the table that he had
Another seating waiting ??? We got there at 7:00 pm
For a 7:00 pm reservation , he seated us at 7:05 then
Told us at 8:15 that people are waiting for our table !!!
We didn’t even have are cocktails finished .
One hour and 10 minutes he gave us to eat and drink , never before have I had such rude ignorant behavior
From someone running a restaurant . Never will we return
Or recommend the place . There are 30 restaurants on Main Street that are 1000% better than this place .
The flavor of the food was underwhelming. We had lasagna and chick parm. Both underwhelming flavor wise but large portions. The sauce on the side of penne pasta was really good.
Excellent food and service. We loved it!
Food was good but didn’t blow us away. But very nice meal for the price
Where to start...overall, this will be my last time dining here. Service, slow, very very slow to get water, drinks, food, etc. Food, close to terrible.
We were charged $6.50 for their signature garlic bread. Just terrible. Yuck.
We ordered the bolognese pizza (on advice from waiter) and the crust was absolutely tasteless, no body, no taste. Bolognese sauce was less than average. Even the cheese couldn’t save this pizza. All 3 of us had a bite and quit. The waiter removed it from our bill.
My husband ordered lobster ravioli and it was store bought and fishy with ugly yellow paste-y sauce.
My son ordered chicken parm. The chicken was a salty mess and the sauce on the pasta was watery and tasteless.
Add this to the fact that we sat by the back door which was opened and closed about 50 times to access the tent out back...so we froze. What a waste of $100.
The food was absolutely wonderful. Great atmosphere. Will dine at Buona Vita again, next time we're in Park City, Utah.
Great location and atmosphere. Suffers from a lack of staff or too many customers. Food was okay.
Except for the fact that it took lots of effort and phone calls to get my Open Table points including an Email from the restaurant saying my res was cancelled after I had just eaten there, it was great. Did I get my points??
There are doors that are used frequently on both ends of the restaurant. We were sat near the back door and due to there being a tent outside with extra seating (which we were originally sat in but moved due the heat being turned off in the tent) we were extremely cold throughout the meal. Every time the door opened for a new table to be sat or drinks or food to be served to a table in the tent, we were met by a freezing cold blast of air. The service was also very slow and the food was mediocre at best. The portion sizes were enormous, but the quality was not very good and my bolognese sauce was very bland and only had a small amount of meat in it. The beef short-ribs were so dry, they were inedible. They should decrease their portion size and increase the quality of their ingredients. I would not recommend this restaurant until some changes are made. The decor and ambiance in the restaurant are great and the restaurant has potential but the employees need to show more care in order to provide a good experience to diners.
Exceptional food! Highly recommend the veal ravioli. Out of this world!
We were sat in the cold outside tent. Service was decent but the food was not. And there was a language barrier as the server misheard our order and brought out the incorrect food for both our appetizer and one main dish. The food was fine but not great. I felt like I was eating in someone’s garage in the tent. Even though we made reservations well in advance, none of the many open indoor tables were offered to us.
HORRIBLE! They seated us 25 minutes after we arrived, which was just at the time of our reservation. The waiter kept pulling down his COVID mask to talk with us through out our entire time there, which is not ok or safe since we were always without masks at the dining table. The service was really slow. It took awhile to provide us water and take our order. The waiter never checked in with us until we had to flag him down to ask for salt. The food was only ok, not great or amazing. I would never come back here, even after COVID.
Arrived for dinner for my son’s bday and asked to be placed inside the main restaurant once we were told our table was outside in their tent attached to the building. There were tables available to put together. However, we were told they could not move us. We then went outside to the tent with and attached heater that came on and off. As we sat out there we watched people walk by in their robes from the hotel, car lights pulling into the parking lot and shinning us in the face. The door also had signs placed on it that stated do not go in and out of this door if there are customers inside of the tent. With that being said, their chef went out the door three times while we were sitting in there. At that point my husband told the hostess we were not going to sit outside please make arrangements inside and we will wait. We told them we would order drinks and appetizers while we wait. A server did not come outside for about 15minutes. The server told us we could not order drinks and appetizers because that would be full service and he was not going to be our server inside. So for 35 minutes we sat out there with our party of 9 with water. Finally, we moved inside. Ordered our food, Buffalo raviolis were bland and no flavor, the Marsala tasted like teriyaki, the salmon piccata was fishy, the kids pizzas were doughy and not cooked. I did not ask them to, but surprised they did not remove the salmon from our bill. I literally took two bites of the piccata and did not touch it. The experience here was awful and would not recommend this place.
Great restaurant...!! Exceofokd and service. Fantastic menus! I will always go back there to eat!
One of our best nights. We were not welcomed and our reservation didn’t seem to matter to them which wasn’t a great kick start but the rest of the evening more than made up. We will remember it as one of our favorite nights.
The menu and wine list have many great options. Everything we ordered was very good, the food was served hot. The waitstaff was attentive. We always have a meal at Buona Vita when visiting Park City.
Service was terrible and food was mediocre at best. The inside of the restaurant looked nice, however, they sat us outback in a tent even though we had made reservations weeks earlier.
Incredible food! The mozzarella grilled appetizer is a must.
nice place. good food. we were in the annex/tent, and it was good/bad. not hot or stuffy, but didn't get the warm fuzzy of what they have built. christian our waiter was great. and the food was fantastic. price was good too.
so, i give buona vita a thumbs up!
