   Note that they do NOT do anything to help celebrate birthdays, second time we have come for a bday dinner, have always noted on the reservation that it was for a bday, there either is a disconnect with communicating that to the servers or they just don’t care, because nobody said anything to our birthday person or did anything special. Food was good, pricey but good, nice ambiance, servers were friendly, but kinda weird they ask if it’s for a special occasion and then do nothing

   Our experience was wonderful! They were friendly, accommodating, and attentive! Our server was just lovely! Unfortunately, there was some loud event going on next door, but that was a one time thing and the restaurant did all they could to help us avoid the noise. We will be back!! Thank you!

   Everything was delicious. One of our friends said the gluten free focaccia and pizza was the best she'd had. The fresh made pasta was excellent. Friendly service. We'll be back!

   Had a quick dinner on Thursday night. Service was great. We haven't been here in a while, husband had a lasagna which he said used to be better than the current recipe. I had clam linguine and it was very good!

   Generally everything was good, the food is more authentic which some people will really appreciate. Outdoor and indoor seating is available which is also a plus. The downside was that the Open Table app allowed us to schedule a reservation for eight people during a time when they close down the kitchen before they start their dinner hours. Consequently we enjoyed a meal but were not able to order dessert, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. We would suggest that those hours not be listed as an option for reservations. Will we go back? Yes, we will go back, but preferably when the kitchen is open for the entire meal.

   Food was just ok. Calamari was a bit undercooked and the pasta dishes were a little bland. I won’t go back.

   Service was slow even though they weren't that busy at 5:30 pm. Food was mediocre - even though they said an "entree," there was no vegetables, salad included.

   Our experience in this location was not as good as the Encinitas location. The calamari appetizer was very good, one of the 2 pizza dishes disappointed. Very different vibe by comparison.

    We just moved back to San Diego and we are enjoying lunch escapes for a week if celebrating our 48 years of marriage. Our escape to Buona Forchetta created another forever memory for us --- wonderful server who was exceptionally attentive and terrific food. What a beautiful customer service "over the top" idea to provide a dessert to share to acknowledge our celebration! We count Buona Forchetta as a great place to enjoy with our loved ones whenever we want to slow the world down and enjoy a terrific customer experience!
