   From the moment we entered The Bungalow, it was a delightful experience. We were greeted by the host who offered us champagne. Once our entire party was there, they seated us in a quiet location. Our server “GG” was amazing as well. She had patience, explained the different meals and how they were prepared. She shared her favorites and based on what we liked gave her confident recommendation. The food was amazing. The music was amazing. Everything was truly amazing. Thank you for making my Mother’s Birthday Dinner Special.

   Quarter 50 min sutures with a reservation to be seated. Food tasted spoiled and old. Food is over priced. Waiter was kind. Hostess unprofessional. Will not return.

   We ordered: appetizer pineapple jerk chicken wings; entree: The Chop, Apricot Chicken, lobster Mac & cheese, Brussel sprouts. Pros: cool vibe, great service (Thanks, Tyrone!), excellent drinks (Jalisco Sunrise, BOF) Cons: Food was mid. Brussel sprouts and pineapple jerk wings were the standouts. Everything else was completely overpriced for the quality of the food. Our bill for two (20% gratuity is included) was almost $300 and I’d say a value of about $100. I’ve been wanting to check this place out for a long time but I was really disappointed.

   Unfortunately I was disappointed in my dining experience. The section were were seated in didn’t seem to have the AC working which made us uncomfortable. Service was very slow. And the food was mediocre for the very high, steakhouse price point. I don’t recommend.

    This place is pretty nice! We had great service and pretty good food! The fried Red Snapper is a must! There were only 3 dynamite shrimp for the appetizer, but they were still good. Will definitely revisit this place when in Houston!

    We were super excited to check this place out but unfortunately had a bad experience. The space is cute when you walk in, they offer you a glass of champagne while you wait (we did have a reservation) which was nice. We were told right off the bat they were out of almost all the dinner entrees which made it difficult to order, the salmon was the only seafood option, but it was late and we ended up ordering an app, a salad for myself and a steak for my husband. The New York strip steak was way over cooked from what was ordered and not seasoned well. If you frequent steakhouses I would not recommend the steak here. Our server was sweet and apologized many times for the lack of options. She also told us before ordering food she wouldn’t blame us if we left!.. There was no manager brought over to compensate our experience. I would have expected SOMETHING. For how much we paid we were most definitely disappointed. Poor customer service and overhyped for sure.

    The food and ambience was beautiful. The food is expensive but it’s worth every penny. The drinks I was disappointed because I got a lemon drop martini and they charged me twice. Once for the actual lemon juice and extra for the vodka, which came out over priced for the small glass they gave. $18 for vodka and $4 for the lemon juice. $22 to total for a small drink that’s $12 every where else for a large glass.

    My husband and I went here May 2023 to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary. Everything from the time we walked up to the building was amazing. Out front there was a nice young man who greeted us and opened the door. The ladies at the front greeted us with smiles and got us checked in for our reservation. They even offered us a complementary glass of champagne. Shortly after we were escorted to our table. The ambience was everything. The music was amazing we were enjoying the R&B music so much. Our waiter Paul was also amazing and very attentive. There isn't a lot on the menu to chose from which I liked. I hate debating with myself on what I want due to having so many choices. He answered all of our questions and even shared his favorites with us. I would definitely ask for him the next time I come. The drinks and food were amazing. All in all my first time experience here was AMAZING. 10/10 I would definitely recommend.

    I FEEL THE PRICES WERE TO HIGH, I FEEL AT LEAST ONE SIDE SHOULD COME WITH A MEAL THAT IS 54 PLUS. I DRANK WATER AND CHOOSE TO HAVE DRINKS SOMEWHERE ELSE THNAT WAS MORE REASONABLE. I DID NOT LIKE THAT A COUPLE SAT NEXT TO ME AND HAD DRINKS AND IT WAS OUT ON MY BILL AND I DIDNT REALIZE IT UNTIL AFTER MY CREDIT CARD WAS RUN. TBNAT PART WAS SO SO UNREAL. I FEEL LIKE MY BILL SHOULKD HAVE BEEN DISCOUNTED JUST FOR THAT ERROR BUT IF COURSE NOT.

    We had a great experience at Bungalow! We were seated quickly and the vibe in the restaurant was great, good music but not overwhelming and noisy. Decor was immaculate and Tyrone our waiter was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. My only complaint is the automatic gratuity, while the service we received was well worth the 20%, this may not always be the case. At the very least patrons should be made aware.

    My waiter name was Tyrone and he was the best waiter I ever had. He was never rushing, he explained the menu to us, and was at out service whenever we needed him. He is also a gentleman. He pulled our chairs out for us to sit and he pushed them up and placed our Napkins in our lap. He also hung our purses for us. He is the best ever." I think you better call Tyrone"

    The atmosphere is wonderful it’s definitely a vibe but the food was a hit or miss. I don’t know if they are trying to mix to many flavors but if came off as overwhelming for my taste buds. The drinks were great. If I were to revisit it would be just for the bar & the vibes.

    The ambience was great and the service was impeccable from entrance to exit. The food was overall average, less than my expectations. We ordered the seafood dip plus the calamari and shrimp for appetizers. The consistency was like a soup instead of a dip. The calamari and shrimp were tasty. Our entree was the redfish, pan seared salmon and mash potatoes. The cream sauce made the salmon have a sweet taste. The portion size was appropriate. The lemon tart dessert was really good. I wasn’t wowed or felt like I definitely need to eat here again based on the food, but service and ambience was top notch.

    My husband and I traveled from Atlanta to visit this restaurant. This place is gorgeous and sexy chic and the music smooth r&b vibes. The glass of champagne when you enter perfection. Will be visiting again when we are in town. I highly recommend whenever you get a chance.

    Beautiful restaurant I will definitely visit again. I took my mom the day before Mother’s Day just so we could beat the crowds and the service was phenomenal. Being greeted with complementary champagne that tasted amazing was a huge plus. Our server Tash was beyond amazing. We loved her and chef Aaron was brilliant that with some of the best food I’ve ever had in my entire life. I love that there’s a dress code. The ambience was everything the drinks were spectacular.
