   Roadhouse is in an old building in Port Costa; a funky place. Parking is in a dirt lot. Okay when it has not been raining. So far, doesn''t sound so good, right? BUT, don't let that put you off because the FOOD was excellent and seasonal. The service was very-very good, and they knew their items/products. Innovative cocktails. Short but good wine list, and the staff can guide you about it too. We will be back!!

   We love Bull Valley, the cocktails, appetizers and entrees are all 5star. Service and ambiance is fantastic.

   It was our first visit for a date night and we loved it. Service, food, and vibe were all outstanding. There is a really nice antique shop next door that is open to browse in after dinner. Very fun evening. We will be back!

    Everything was great but the hostess Sat us at the worse table. It was a 6 pm reservation, the main dining room was 85% empty. First she offered us a booth at an 8 top in the back. My wife and I are older so we asked for a table with actual chairs instead of a bench seat with a straight back. So she moved us to a tiny table where my seat encroached on a main thoroughfare between the bar and kitchen. There were great tables next to and near the window, when we left at 7 were still empty. I guess I should have spoke up about the second table she offered but I didn’t want to embarrass my wife by complaining too much. Sounds stupid but my overall experience would have been 5 stars if the hostess had been more focused on us getting a better table than managing whatever factors drove her to giving us objectively the worse table.
