Bulevar Mexican Kitchen is a place to celebrate simple pleasures with top notch margaritas and cocktails, both frozen fun ones to unique agave creations and a vast selection of agave distillates. A place where food is for sharing, food is for comforting and food is for feasting. An atmosphere that is fueled by a massive wood fired grill, a high energy bar, tall ceilings and big glass windows that push your attention to the patio and the great Austin views & sunsets.     We have always loved Bulevar, but things have changed. This was on a relatively slow Monday night. The menu is now very pricey for what you get. I loved the crab tostadas and the short rib appetizer. The others in our party ordered tacos which were just ok. It took 20 minutes to get a margarita and then they brought 3 out of 4 meals before the drinks- while one of us just waited another 20 minutes until that food finally showed up. There was no communication between servers and two of the same dessert arrived at different times. We probably won’t be back.

    Everything about this place is top notch. The service was great, fun ambiance and incredible food. This is more of a special occasion restaurant but the food is truly outstanding!

    Samanatha was excellent. Very knowledgeable and excellent service. Food was amazing. Did not feel rushed one bit. So Happy to have discovered another restaurant that is seed oil free and gluten free with amazing food.

    What an experience! Andrew our server guided us through the adventure of their menu and worked with us to experience new tastings in their mezcal offerings. True to the real Mexican culture (not Tex-Mex) the small plates offered a great tasting variety and their full plate meals were just that! All the flavors were dancing together and just enough heat and spice. Even a more common offering of street corn was raised to a new level for us. Our only disappointment was we were so full we didn’t have room for dessert. The seating was comfortable with larger chairs and well padded benches. The week designed and somewhat muted decor sucked you into the experience, and we paid homage to Zoro on the wall. We will be back.

    It’s always a success when dining at Bulevar, it could get loud sometimes specially from the guests loud conversations echoing all around, but regardless I keep going for the food quality and friendly staff (even though they are slow sometimes but still I don’t go to dinner in a rush) so that’s ok to a limit !

    Dinner was ok, steak good, salmon so spicy we could barely eat it. Service was very slow given the restaurant wasn’t very busy. Overall ok
