Introducing the latest addition to the “Forever Fabulous” Flamingo Las Vegas, the all-new Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse will transport guests back to the resort’s vintage roots while serving a fresh and intriguing steakhouse experience in a modern way. Guests will be transported from the moment they arrive, as they enter through the “bakery” façade and past the dry aged meat cooler, giving the illusion of discreetly entering through the back as many did decades ago. Once inside the steakhouse proper, an eye-catching dining experience awaits. In collaboration with designers Studio K Creative out of Chicago and renowned designer Jonathan Adler, the restaurant boasts a variety of atmospheres, including the main bar, patio dining, the bustling main dining room, three private dining rooms and a raw bar. Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse is a one-of-a-kind destination steakhouse, much like its resort’s origins, in menu, design and atmosphere. Bugsy and Meyer would approve.

                                                                                                  Loved Bugsy and Meyer’s. Although a lot more expensive than I expected, I was greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne for my birthday. I started with their 17th Century Onion Soup which was perfect. It wasn’t boiling hot like most places. It was served at a decent temperature. My main course was the filet with bordelaise sauce and the truffle fries. Both were amazing. Service was spot on. Friendly, courteous, and prompt. If it wasn’t so expensive for my budget, I would visit more often.

                                                                                                  For two of us, this was our 4th or 5th time eating here. It was the first time for the other two in our party. When we were sat at our table service was as expected, but then we waited 15-20min before anybody visited our table to take a drink order. By then, we were ready to order everything, and the server obliged. Two of our party were sharing the Tomahawk steak. They ordered it cooked medium rare. It had to be sent back twice for being undercooked (first it came what we'd call blue, second time very rare). I ordered the Kentucky Old Fashioned, and it was very tasty. We had to go to our third choice of wine bottle because the first two were sold out. They did honor the price of our first bottle on the more expensive one we ended up with, which was greatly appreciated. Once the wine and undercooked steak had been dealt with, the meal was very good. The manager did deliver a free slice of their cigar cake as a consolation. One in our party (the one who'd ordered the tomahawk) was unable to eat it due to dietary restriction, so it wasn't the consolation to us that he'd likely hoped. For those of us that were able to share the cake, it was delicious. I was very disappointed because of previous experience at this restaurant having been so great and we were bringing two close friends with us for their first visit. I'm not saying we'll not go back (I understand that no restaurant can deliver 100% of the time), but we are planning dinner elsewhere for upcoming trip in July.

Best part about the meal was the Mac n Cheese and Crème Brulet. Steaks were okay and my biggest gripe, the knives. You were literally tearing a filet vs slicing through it.

                                                                                                  Booked a Bugsy Table and got the rotating bottle of sparkling wine with the reservation. Definitely recommend if you plan on celebrating and drinking bubbly. I can't say enough great things about the food. This place is definitely worth it. Fresh bread with real truffle butter, an amazing pork chop that tasted like it was marinated in fresh apple cider, and dry aged ribeye that was perfectly seasoned and cooked spot on. The whole staff was friendly, attentive and checked in just enough. I'll definitely be back!
