Buffalo Wild Wings - Downtown Indianapolis
We made a reservation online and it was confirmed. When we arrived right on time, the hostess told us we had no reservation. We showed her the email reservation confirmation. She stated that our reservation was not valid because they no longer do online reservations. She was very rude in the way she spoke with us.
Restaurant was dirty/messy.
My experience was horrific! I told the hostess I had an Open Table Reservation and she said they don’t take reservations. I even showed her where I had reserved a table on Open Table and she still said they don’t take reservations. If they are not going to take reservations from Open Table, they should not be listed on Open Table as taking reservations! They need to be pulled from Open Table if they will not abide by it’s rules!!! Otherwise it is false advertising!!!
They do not take reservations through Open Table. Hostess was rude. We had to wait 35 minutes for a table.
So I am giving this a poor rating because we arrive and the host says they don’t use open table reservations even though I had a confirmation email. Overall terrible place - starving is a better option
Food was average at best. Not sure why this place is so popular.
It took awhile to be seated in a cavernous and mostly empty bar, and we barely saw our server after that. Twice had to get up and ask other employees if they could find our server because someone needed a bill, and glasses stayed empty for long periods. The only food ordered came out relatively quick however.
Several projection screens were unwatchable due to their fuzziness. I would be more forgiving if they were under-staffed, but there was barely anyone there on a Final Four Saturday night which is telling.
When we walked in, I told the hostess we had a reservation through open table and I was immediately shut down. She rudely told me that it’s first come first serve and rushed us to a table. 20 minutes had passed and no one had come to our table at all. We asked a nearby waiter that we hadn’t been waited on yet and she preceded to tell me she would figure it out.
Another 10 minutes passed, still no service, so we decided to leave. No one stopped us or acknowledged us leaving.
When we arrived, they said they had canceled all reservations and the manager had called to tell everyone. This was false. I called the store 3 times to confirm, including the same day and was told the whole way it was legit. Turns out, they lied.
When we arrived, we were informed that they would not honor the reservation we had made as they had become unexpectedly busy; they put our name on the list of people waiting for tables and said they would try to prioritize us if able. Subsequently seated multiple tables before we were able to be seated. Once seated, service was pathetic - practically had to tackle our waitress to get her to stop by our table and anything ordered took a very long time (about an hour to get the food we had ordered). Would not go back and would not recommend to anyone.
Long wait to put name in, despite many tables being available, mainly due to lack of attentiveness by the host staff. Better communication and customer orientation needed by the host staff.
Yikes! I don't even know where to start... my husband and I made a reservation for ~5:00 PM the night of the Taylor Swift concert (a Saturday night, so you'd expect them to be well-staffed). I'm guessing they didn't realize what was going on...
Anyway, when we first arrived, there were several parties waiting to be seated in the relatively empty dining room. There was no hostess... when we asked someone working there, she said she wasn't the hostess. One other waiting patron commented how they had been waiting about 20 minutes. It was strange... my husband and I took ourselves to the bar area rather than continue waiting for a non-existent hostess. We sat down and waited... and waited... and waited. There was only one server covering the entire bar area (which included a few unbussed tables). When our server finally arrived, she was just fine. No complaints from her!
The management here might consider working out a better system... especially on a Saturday night!
Made reservations to accommodate going to Taylor Swift concert. Restaurant was totally unprepared and understaffed for event. We were told it would be a two hour wait even though we had reservations.
Nobody came to seat us. Waited about 15 minutes and left after seeing plenty of open tables that still had trash all over them.
We waited about 20 mins for our appetizer that never came out and then our food came out before the appitizer so we just canceled the order. The chefs seemed to not know how to efficiently cook. Food was good and waitress was friendly enough.
This location was understaffed and unprepared for the dinner crown before the Pacers playoff game. Upon checking in, we were told no tables were available, but we could check the bar area for a seat. The whole point of using OpenTable is to ensure a reserved table.
75 minutes after arriving, we had only received two beers and the appetizer. We, along with other tables, had to cancel our food order in order to make the game on-time. The on-duty manager comped the appetizer, but we had to pay for the drinks. The entire staff needs to be turned over or retrained on proper customer service. It’s unfortunate that this BW3 in the heart of downtown Indy is not meeting the brand standards.
