Dining at The Buffalo Rose is more than a delightful culinary experience, it is also a trip back in time to the American West just as it was in the late 19th century. A visit to Golden simply isn’t complete without a stop in at The Pulse of Golden Since 1859.
Our beautiful collection of new and recently renovated historic buildings are located in the very heart of downtown Golden, directly beneath the “Howdy Folks – Welcome to Golden” sign, so we’re really easy to find.

    Dirty restaurant. Disgusting bathroom. Cold food. Waitress brought food back after “top cook in the kitchen fixed it for me” (her words)and it was a bit warm but now extremely dry.

    Nice to have unique choices beyond the burgers on everyone’s menu. Server talked me into something that prob wasn’t my vibe, but that was my fault. Food was flavorful and loved people watching the street. Would recommend.

    This is probably a fun place for a later meal and a concert or to watch games on tv. Was a bit casual for brunch and food was just ok

    So we made reservations for a "Motown Brunch" and it was such a poorly organized event. Firstly, they played very little Motown music, which was the point of the brunch. Multiple parties were complaining, not just us. Secondly, what they were playing was just on full blast to the point we could not even talk at our own table. It was so cold in the restaurant, we could not take off our jackets throughout the brunch. Lastly, they were out of multiple items (as we were the first reservation time slot of the day). Overall, I would NOT recommend this venue- not for a themed brunch, not for the environment, not for the food. Bust for us and we will take our patronage elsewhere.

    Great time with old friends by chance being in Colorado. Food , service and ambiance perfect for a nice lunch, although the acoustics not so great. Would definitely return!

    Our waitress was amazing...the food was very good and the music was loud enough but not too loud ..would def go again

    The Taylor Swift brunch they held was so much fun. There was a small vender artist booth and music blasting. Only limited Taylor themed items, but the food off their regular menu was fantastic.
