We arrived a little early for our reservation and they were able to seat us right away. That was great.... But it took a while to get our food and drink order as they were very busy. The food was outstanding but we had to wait awhile as the kitchen was very backed up. We ended up having to take our food to go because we had to get back to the office for meetings. It was still very tasty.

Our overall experience was very positive! From the crab cake appetizer to the sweet, beautiful flan, every part of this meal was exquisite! One of us had the grilled garlic shrimp and vegetables, and the other had Afro-Cuban pork. We both chose Moro as the side (mixed black beans and rice). We also shared fried plantain. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. It was the perfect pre-symphony meal. The mojitos were also good, but a bit heavy on the mint. We advise allowing plenty of time, as all items are prepared when ordered; the small staff was not in a hurry for the guests to leave.

The food is delicioso! Ceviches were fresh and pretty and huge portions! Sopa Mariscos was also tasty! If you're going to a downtown show, don't miss this place!

This restaurant has amazing food! We ordered The Cuban Board appetizer & everything on it was delicious. I ordered the Afro-Cuban Pork & my husband had the filet mignon. The food was so good. Great service, great atmosphere, great cocktails. I definitely recommend!

What an excellent option for a quick dinner or glass of wine appetizer before the theater or symphony. It's close, has a great atmosphere, and the food and wine were great. Service was also A++. The only issue was that it was a little hard to determine if it was your first visit. It's inside an office building that you can enter off of Capitol, but the restaurant is on the other side of the lobby closer to Rusk, which, had I looked at the map better, I could have figured out. I hope this place makes it, as there are limited choices downtown that are walkable if you are there for a performance.

Great place to go before a performance at Jones Hall! It’s basically across the street. The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. Happy Hour offered a nice selection of drinks and bites.
