I always like coming here. We had the Manicotti, Stuffed Chicken Breast, Garlic Bread, and Tiramisu., Everything was good., I like the family-style Italian. Will be back again, we save this place for occasions.

We had a celebration for a group of 14 and Buca always comes through for groups. The food was tasty and the service was good.

Terrible. The hostess seemed like she’d rather be doing anything but her job. She literally didn’t say a word to us. Then our server was awful as well. She didn’t appear at our table until about 15 minutes after we’d been seated. When I asked my partner which wine I should order, our server snipped, “I can come back later if you’re not ready to order.” It was rude. When my partner told her his wine was off, she argued with him, took it away, returned to say the bartender had only recently uncorked the bottle it came from so there was no way the wine could have turned, and then didn’t care enough to ask if my partner would like to try anything different instead. So dismissive and rude I couldn’t believe it. There were no check-ins to see if the food was okay, and we had to ask for bread. When it was time to pay the check, she plopped it unceremoniously on the table and walked away without a word. Like, if you hate your job, go work somewhere else. Buca di Beppo’s food used to be good, and now it’s not. It’s clear that private equity has ruined this place, ruined its character and charm, like it does most things. I was so embarrassed because we’d brought family from out of town for what we thought would be a fun and lively meal. Really awful and will never return.

The family feast is such an amazing deal, we love the delicious meals, like the ravioli and the chicken luminescent, the portions are so generous, and the service is always great. The atypical interaction tonight was that hostess who sat us was not super welcoming, she didn’t even say hello, when she saw us walk in she looked away and continued packing a bag, we usually are greeted pleasantly immediately, if busy they say they’ll be with us in a moment, so that was odd…but whatever, she may have been new or having a bad day, we’ll get over it. And it won’t stop us from coming back. Overall we always love coming to Buca’s, the food is always delicious, the portions are gigantic, the wait staff are attentive, and we just love the family friendly ambience.
