Thank you! Love the tour!!
Enjoyable dining experience for our large party. Food came out quickly and our waitress gave us good recommendations. Very pleasant dining experience.
Great food, great service! The stuffed chicken prosciutto is amazing!
I found that the chicken fettuccine was sticky it didn’t have enough chicken or alfredo sauce. To get an upcharge to add chicken I thought it should have had more. We had ordered 2 family bowls of it. It was still tasteful for the most part. The chicken parmasian everyone loved though! We had a large group and we were well accommodated, we had excellent service!
Our party of two enjoyed a Sunday afternoon dinner at Buca this week. Service was outstanding without being intrusive. We chatted with the Chef, who was in the dining area a couple times while we were there. We mentioned that we missed the veal dishes that used to be on the menu. Since the restaurant keeps some veal on hand for its catering service, the Chef prepared a Veal Marsala dish, just for us. Outstanding! We shared that, and a small order of Stuffed Shells - spicy but also very good! Very nice experience for our Sunday afternoon!
Great food, great atmosphere, great waitress. What more can you ask for.
I know that this isn’t the restaurants fault entirely, but we were seated next to a larger, louder, party. You could tell everyone around them was miserable since there was no talking over them. They completely muted all conversation around the dining room. The best moment of my night was when they were brought their food... a few minutes of silence while they ate.
great experience and amazing food!
We enjoyed our dinner at Buca. We always get the chicken Parmesan as it is tender and tastes great. We tried the chicken limon also and liked its sauce. Even though there were two of us, we ordered large sizes so we had extra to take home for a couple dinners.
This place is great from the bottom all the way to the very top, when we arrived for our reservation, we were seated very quickly. Our server was great and very friendly and attentive. The food itself speaks for itself, really big portions so be ready to eat and take some home with you. The GM Kevin even made it a point to introduce himself and made sure we were well taken care of, we had a great time!
Great atmosphere, they take you on a tour throughout the restaurant before sitting you down at your table, they even have a table in the kitchen where your right in front of the Chef, they took great care of us!
The food and service was excellent!! We always love coming to buca. The general manager Kevin Wilson came by to make sure were having a great time which was very nice of him! Overall experience was amazing!! Definitely suggest trying this place if you haven’t already :)
When we arrived it seemed like confusion of where to seat us. They then crammed us, a party of 5 in a corner next to a table of screaming babies and kids. They were accommodating in moving us when we asked to move.
The food was great!
While the food was good, they once again didn't have key parts of dishes on the menu, this has been a recurring them. What set this visit apart from our previous visits was the exceptionally poor service. Slow and unattentive even when asked several times. It's not too much to ask for plates with your meal, just saying. This will be our last trip here for the foreseeable future.
Food is always good. Service was poor this time - slow and inattentive waiter. Table was super small for 8 people. 4 adults on one side all of average size and we could barely move let alone fit the food on the table.
Food and server were very nice but they crammed us into the tiniest table between 2 tables already in use and my sons car seat and sling were crossing into the walkway. There were many open tables Around us.
An awesome place for family events, great food and great service!
The front of the house was clearly not ready to seat the people who came in along with those that had reservations. We were finally seated-next to a large party that played music LOUDLY on their cell phones. We came for my daughter's birthday. The restaurant called earlier that day to let me know they were out of celebration cake, but said we could choose another dessert. I chose a dessert and was told my server would be informed. Our server had no idea we were there to celebrate and when I told him, he threw together a sad bowl of ice cream. Probably not going to come back to this restaurant.
It’s not fine dining but a good place to take a family or big group. They often have specials if you get on their mailing list. Not a date night kind of place
My husband and I love to have dinner dates at Bucca because the service is always great and the food is so good! Valentines Day was great! Thank you!
Buca still has good food and large portions, but they raised their prices and our service was not good this time. Our server kept disappearing, but another near by made sure we were taken care of. We had received a gift card to dine here and apparently they now don't allow you to use that with a coupon sent through their email program. That was disappointing too since gift cards should be considered as cash. So would we recommend it...yes, with reservation due to these changes.
The food was great, but the server and kitchen were off. The server did not prepare our table with bread and olive oil as she did for the table next to us. We had to ask for the bread and olive oil. The meal did not come out in sequential order from appetizer, salads, and entree. Overall, it was a meh kind of experience.
The food was kinda terr
Always delicious!!! Absolutely amazing and fun!
I've always loved Buca di Beppo. I think my taste buds were off this week. However, I would suggest additional sauce be added to the Spaghetti with Meat Balls dish.
We went for our friends birthday and the atmosphere was good. However they were very short on bus help and wait staff. Many tables around us were stacked with dirty dishes and the customers on both sides of us had the manager come over and they complained how poor the service was. Then our food took almost an hour to get after we flagged a waitress down to ask to place a drink order. We were a party of 10 with 4 kids and you just cannot have this kind of service with large parties. Our waitress and manager apologized for such a long wait for our drinks and food. I suggest that if you have all night to wait go here!
Worst experience ever. We were there for an hour and a half and were told they forgot to put our order in. Waitress was very kind and way too busy. This is a total management issue. I asked to see a manager and he came over. He was full of excuses and hot air. I have worked as a manager in this business and am appalled by the way he approached the issues. Needless to say, we left without eating our main course. We are not the type that want anything for free, but the fact that the tab was 78.00 and we were not charged for our entrees is complete idiocracy. Good luck with the future Bucca. We had sworn off this place the last time, but this experience has solidified our thoughts to NEVER return. And we will tell all of our friends and family!!!!
Food was good but service not so great. Took a long time just to get drinks and when they came mine was wrong. Bread took awhile to come out, too. Slow service all night.
I made reservation several days ago so that my family and I could have a nice dinner on Christmas Day without having the hustle and bustle and find somewhere to eat knowing everything else was closed. When we arrived at 6:30 p.m. for our reservation the hostess advised us the restaurant was closed and out of food because the walk in customers from earlier in the day consumed all but a few items on the menu.
Had reservations here for over a month as they were one of the few places open for Christmas day and we come here every year for Christmas dinner. Well, we arrived for our 5 o'clock reservation, only to find out there were out of all sauces and most foods, with the exception of Salad. So looks like I am cooking. Such a disappointment on a holiday.
Will definitely not be returning!
They ruined our Christmas dinner, beware before making NYE plans here! We had reservations for 13 people at 5 pm. After showing up early and then waiting at our table for 15 minutes for a server, we were told that they were completely out of sauces. But we could have salad and dessert! I know Christmas dinners can be a real pain, but if you're going to make the decision to stay open then make sure you can actually deliver. This place is a pasta making machine, I cannot believe that by looking at the reservations they didn't know hours before we arrived that they would be running out of food. A simple phone call earlier in the day would have allowed us to change plans and actually have a decent Christmas dinner. Instead four families had their day ruined.
Had reservations for a month for Christmas dinner. Got there...seated 20 min late. Waited for an hour before they finally told us they ran out of food. This was at 5:25. I gave the waiter some money since it was Christmas and we ended up going to hooters since it was all that was open. Buca dropped the ball in a HUGE way.
They were crazy crowded, but they handled the crowd fairly well. I felt bad for the staff working on Christmas Day and having to deal with a million impatient people. The restaurant overall seemed maybe not quite prepared for the crowd. Our food was good but they did run out of some items.
I would NOT recommend this restaurant for the holidays! It was a bad experience all in all. The dominant problem: Not only do they take holiday reservations that completely fill their restaurant ... they ALSO take To-Go orders that receive PRIORITY (!) and take up all of the employees' time and effort while diners who reserved tables sit and WAIT and WAIT, like trapped rats. It took OVER ONE HOUR to get our food -- a Small Salmon entree, a Small Baked Rigatoni, and One Meatball. We also ordered 2 cocktails (about 20 minute wait for those) and a Calamari appetizer and Small Mixed Green Salad (about 30 minute wait for those). The Calamari came highly recommended but was below average. The salad was ... meh. The Salmon, Baked Rigatoni, and Meatball were delicious! The cocktails tasted like grapefruit juice on ice. NOT sophisticated or special in any way. NOT AT ALL worth the $10-14 price each. The first table we got was really bad. I asked for a better table. We got a better table in what appeared to be their worst room -- loud, bright, tacky, very uncozy with very little ambiance. Our server was delightful in personality and charm. She was also informative and honest, and we liked her a lot. But, once we moved tables, she (rather naturally) forgot to keep up with our water glasses. They were not filled even once during our meal. We understand ... but, well, we REALLY would have liked our water glasses refilled even once, and probably several times, seeing as we drink a lot of water. The manager insisted on taking the calamari and salad off our bill. I told him it wasn't necessary ... but he insisted ... except that he never did take anything off our bill and didn't mention a word about it to our server! No big deal, I suppose. That goes with the rest of the experience and highlights the probable source of all of the problems (the manager?). I wasn't complaining about the money anyway -- I was complaining about the very disappointing holiday experience.
Christmas Eve was hectic and I get that but it seems they couldn’t manage reservations properly, they were about 30 min behind a scheduled reservation. They had bussers call out because dirty tables just sat for hours and dirty plates sat stacked in bar area. My server and food were great and I appreciate how hard the staff was working. I just feel maybe they should not take as many reservations as were offered.
Wow. Bad. How many times can I write that to take up 50 letters. Wow. Bad.
We remembered this place to be authentic and fun given it's family style, so we decided to go there on Christmas Eve. Not a good experience. Hostesses up front were doing there best given the restaurant overbooked reservations. The waitress was trying her best, but simply could not keep up with the amount of tables she had responsibility for. Restaurant was dirty. Empty dirty dishes everywhere...waiting for busing but no one to do the work. Food was only ok. Baked Ziti was over baked or had sat under heat lamp.
We had to ask for everything, we were patient, we saw the dilemma for the employees, but it shouldn't have had to be that way. Poor management, poor planning. Try it on a not so busy night, you may have a better experience. They simply weren't staffed for a busy holiday.
We sat at our table for over an hour and only received our drinks. There were MANY empty tables, yet no servers around to help. After an hour we were told that they “ran out of bread”. This was the worst service that I have ever experienced! We left without eating. ZERO stars!
