I wish they had Anchovies, there are some people that like them, especially Italians. Also would be nice to have Rosemary to put in the oil vinegar and basil and fresh oregano. The service was great the bartender was wonderful

I think this may have been the first weekend Buca di Beppo was open for indoor dining at 25% capacity. We arrived on time to find out they were not prepared to take us yet and estimated a 30 min wait. They did not distinguish between those who made online reservations and those who just showed up. Once seated, the waiter was very nice and accommodating. Our food was good and we had plenty to take home.
Unfortunately I was a bit turned off with the atmosphere as there was a large family taking up the two other tables in our area and not wearing masks despite being finished with their meal. They were getting up and walking between tables a lot. It wasn’t until partway thru our meal that they left. I’m not inclined to return to the restaurant again.

First time eating indoors since covid. Buca's first night open and it was incredible. The service was extremely attentive and the food was great. My only qualm was that the pizza could have been cooked a little longer, pretty soft on the bottom but it was still very tasty. Will be going back soon!

We were never informed that they couldn't seat us because of some plumbing issue so we showed up and they said nope sorry u cant eat here.

We had a 5:30 pm reservation for a large party for my husband’s 79th birthday on March 1, 2020. At 4.45 pm, I received a call from a young lady saying that our reservation was cancelled due to a sewage problem! I couldn’t believe it! The employee was very “matter of fact” about this situation , said she’s sorry and hung up!
I feel we should be compensated for our troubles. I’ve never had this happen to me. It was very distressing and disappointing, to say the least.

Their special for the day was linguine with clams was overpriced at $43.00. Suppose to have enough pasta to feed two people. Disappointed at the price paid. Not recommend to a friend.

way too expensive for party of four, food was room temp at best as well. Our first time we were disappointed with Buca. Also added that it was my wife's birthday but they didn't sing like they did for plenty of other tables....Oh well, she would have been embarrassed anyway

Buca never really disappoints. However it did last night. Not the service or food but more of a .... a lack of food? We went for the Valentine's meal (heart shaped lasagna). My wife is a sucker for things like that. We were informed that it was not available despite the ad saying it was for both the 14th and the 15th. That sucked. We were actually looking forward to it. We enjoyed our meal regardless because we've never disliked a meal or the service at this location. This is our go to restaurant for special occasions.

We reserve table 7:30 but no table 8:00

Overall, the experience was OK. It was Valentine’s Day, so it was busy. Our server was great but something happened to her and she left the restaurant in tears. Service was slow after that, we waited an hour or more for the main course (heart shaped lasagna). Once we got the lasagna, I took a bite and found a piece of plastic in it. The manager came by and apologized, explaining its pre-made and wrapped in plastic when they receive it. He ended up taking the whole meal off and we walked away only paying for one appetizer. Would not recommend going here on a major holiday but overall it was a below average experience.

The place seems tired. Food average at best and ambiance poor. The images all over the walls were slightly disturbing for our kids.

I was with my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day. Our waiter Deen, paid no attention to us. We waited almost 30 minutes after we had finished eating, for him to come back to our table.

Parking was extremely hard to find a space. We got put way into the back of the restaurant and it seemed like our waitress forgot us or just didn't remember we were back there! Hardly ever checked on us and even when she came by to take the order of new tables, she just turned her back to us and walked away! I wanted a refill on my soda, but never got it because she never came back after she dropped the food off. The chicken we ordered was good, but the pasta didn't have much taste and seemed like it was sitting someplace because they were both only "warm".

We have always loved BUCA and looked forward to it for years.
The first table we were seated at was next to a large party. We asked to move.
The salad was not as good as usual.
The eggplant Parmesan we were served was burnt to a crisp.
We asked for a replacement. It was hardly any better.
The server was very lackluster.
The new menu design is very bizarre.
It’s so disappointing as this has always been our family celebration place for years.

Open table was awesome! I called the restraint itself first and tried to get a reservation and they would not take one for a party of 8. I did not want to come in and have to wait for a table. I went on OpenTable and BOOM, reservation! Super easy. The restaurant called me the next day to confirm and we had a great time. Food was great and our server was awesome.

Our server, Jesus, was great. He was attentive and got our orders right. Family style eating was what we came for and of course we had so much food left over to take home.

The service was awful. Everyone looks miserable and no one was at the front doing check ins. There were several employees that passed and ignored the line forming along with someone in the side room counting money and ignoring the front.

Pedestrian food but that was perfect for the family get together. Tried Buca because of birthday promo we got in the mail. For simple family meal out with kids would support going to Buca.

Are you kidding me!!! They openly admit that having a reservation means NOTHING!!! They take three or four times as many reservations as they can accommodate. It was Christmas Eve and we arrived at 7:09 pm for our 7:15 pm reservation and after waiting in their cold noisy lobby for and HOUR AND A HALF we left and got NO FOOD on Christmas Eve - basically ruined the holiday for our family. SHAME on them. Open Table should drop them as a client!!!! They are horrible!!! Very Grinch-ISH behavior!!!!
Had a table for 5:30 pm Eventually were seated at 6:30 pm and had to wait another 30 minutes to see wait staff. Awful experience we will not repeat.

We had reservations but still had to wait over 1 hour to be seated. Their parent company oversold the seats is what we were told. There were a lot of unhappy customers in the lobby & some were getting visibly aggressive. Their parent company needs to know this & change their practices.
We had a 7:15pm reservation. We arrived right at 7:15 and were told that there were 9 tables to be seated ahead of us and they had no idea how long the wait would be. The waiting area was crowded, so I asked the receptionist to bring out 2 chairs for my 90 & 94 year old parents, she said yes and then ignored us - no chairs! We started talking to other people waiting, and the group next to us had been waiting over an hour for their reservation and still the receptionist told them there were two groups ahead of them.
Needless to say we left!

We were seated half an hour after our reservation and we didn’t get our food until one hour after we sat down. Servers were all working really hard but they were clearly short staffed and there just weren’t enough hands to go around.

Hadn’t been back in awhile as it has always been “full” and not taking more reservations. Got in tonight and was really disappointed in food quality, service and the women’s bathroom needed major attention and never got it....won’t be back.

Never again. 7:30 reservation. Seated at 8pm, only after I had to go up and remind the hostess that we were still waiting. Seated and given menus, and no one came by for 25 minutes until we flagged down a bartender to take our order. 25 minutes later, finally...food. No one came by to check on water, bread or anything else. We overheard the table behind us and people in the restroom that dinner took almost 2 hours. Offer people a drink or snack or some little semblance that you give a care. We missed our movie after this fiasco. Did I mention the waitress who kept stopping for 5 minutes at a time to watch the Niners game at the bar?

Restaurant accommodated us despite the size of the reservation going from '20' to '5'. Food was great! Enough leftovers for all five of us.

Our server was great! The front desk welcome wasn't very welcoming though. Majority of our food was great, but felt like we could have had more sauce for the spaghetti, it was all pasta and barely any sauce. The shrimp florentine was amazing.

It was 15 minutes before the waiter came to get our drink order. Then another 20 minutes before we received our drinks.

Service was terrible. Server never took our menus. I ended up putting them on another table when the appetizers arrived at the table. Appetizer plates weren’t cleared in a timely manner as we never saw our server so when dinner was delivered, the food was set down and then the dirty dishes were removed. Then server had to go get us clean dinner plates. When bill was dropped off, server hurried away and never returned after over ten minutes I went to the bar to pay. If this is how this restaurant is now run I wont be returning f.

Good food and nice portions. The service was ok, I think they were delayed by the kitchen with side dishes showing up 15 minutes before the main course. Enjoyable evening, not too crowded and nice location.

I have to say that their reception area is not very welcoming. It is dark and unwelcoming. And the hostess did not smile even once. This was on Oct. 3 at 8:30 pm. However, I have to say that the attentiveness of our server was outstanding. The Buca is a family restaurant and I love all of the Italian influenced pictures on the walls. We ordered Spicy Chicken Rigatoni and Penne San Remo. I have to say that we've had better spicy chicken rigatoni at other Buca locations. The sauce tasted watered down, the marinara sauce wasn't enough and instead of a handful of peas, it looked like the cook was making up for the watered down marinara sauce by adding more peas :-) The bread was warm but looks like they have stopped giving olive oil & vinegar with it. All we got was butter packets. I love Buca, so will surely be back.

The restaurant offered Anniversary candlelight setting and for special events they took photos and got them printed there and specific dishes like jumbo sized sundae to celebrate. But none of the utensils were washed properly or the plate setting, 90% of utensils had salads/Mac and cheese left by previous customers. It felt so gross despite ordering our favorites and knowing they would taste great. We may not come back here again for special occasions.

The prices of the Food went up yet again; it has become unaffordable and I won’t be coming back. I honestly feel that the food is fairly good but most of the toppings with the main meat entrees are small and I also feel that if they continue to raise the prices then they need to add another portion per order at least that way It’s worth more for the money people spend there.
I like to eat and order the artichoke dip but it’s such a small portion for the money it’s not even worth getting anymore.
