   The place is cool. Like any one else, we love Forrest Gump, and so do our teenagers. The waiter was great, attentive as soon as we put the “Stop, Forrest” sign. However, the food was not good. The peel and eat shrimp, served in a cool little pot, were so overcooked they were tough. We ordered the sampler appetizer as a meal, the chicken pieces and fried shrimp had no flavor. Meals were overpriced for the food that just did not taste like fresh seafood, and we were in Galveston. I will say we went there because we purchased the Pleasure Pier/Landrys restaurant gift card Groupon. I was glad we kept it under the gift card amnt, and used the rest for merchandise.

   Food was only okay, not great for the price. We waited 40 minutes to be seated even though we had reservations. Several of our party dis not receive their mail until other were almost done. Alcoholic beverages were not good. Service was spotty and our tickets kept getting mixed up.

   Service was great—our server was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. It lacked flavor and freshness, which was surprising since we had a fantastic experience at the Seattle location. The atmosphere is fun, but based on the food quality here, I wouldn’t return.

   This was by far the best experience me and my family has had in a long time. We had a reservation at 7:30 for 20 people. And we're sst down within a few minutes. "Dylan" was amazing and deserves a huge round of applause for his energy, patience, and over all friendliness. And to the chef who cooked our steaks a huge applause also they were cooked perfect.

   Food took sooooo long !! Our waitress didn’t do a good job !! No silverware, no plates for appetizer, no spoons when we ask for more than one for our desserts ! We had several to share with one another. Music way too LOUD!!!

   Allow me start, that we are a family of 5 Waited 15 minutes for our drinks. 30 minutes for our food with a missing salad. Had to ask for a drink refill
