We didnt have the best time with food last year we came but this year it was the best we have had. The server Luis was fantastic and the GM was fantastic! Made up for last time we were there and all. We absolutely love Bubba Gumps!

We were not impressed by this location. It started with when we arrived and we were greeted by the host with a, " yeah," instead of welcome or how may I help you. While we were standing there another employee told him the customer on the phone was asking how long of a wait did they have and his response was, " tell them its 7:30 on Saturday night in the summer he cant guarantee them anything they just need to take a chance ," instead of telling them they could book a table on line for a more pleasant experience. Our server although he was friendly after taking our drink order he was MIA until it was time to bring the check, no drink refill/ etc. A lady we presumed was part of management finally asked if we still needed to order and took our order after 25 minutes of sitting there.

Awful experience. Had a table reserved for 6:30, didn’t get seated for 45 minutes because the host “forgot about us”. But we were standing RIGHT in front of her. No apologies were given. Waited 30 or more minutes (which I understand is typical for a restaurant of that size), but when we received our food it was cold. Not one person from our party of 7, had good food. The toddlers even complained of the pizza being too cold. Overall, do not recommended what so ever.

Bubba Gump was a good experience, but I won’t be using open table again. This was the 2 time in two weeks they did not have our reservation

The place is cool. Like any one else, we love Forrest Gump, and so do our teenagers. The waiter was great, attentive as soon as we put the “Stop, Forrest” sign. However, the food was not good. The peel and eat shrimp, served in a cool little pot, were so overcooked they were tough. We ordered the sampler appetizer as a meal, the chicken pieces and fried shrimp had no flavor. Meals were overpriced for the food that just did not taste like fresh seafood, and we were in Galveston. I will say we went there because we purchased the Pleasure Pier/Landrys restaurant gift card Groupon. I was glad we kept it under the gift card amnt, and used the rest for merchandise.
