It was a 40th birthday for my boyfriend. I had asked for something special and that didn’t happen. I know they don’t have to, but other locations have done it and it was a little sad to not have that at this location. My hamburger was alright. I didn’t eat much. The lettuce was supremely soggy, which I know can happen. I didn’t complain. The onion rings were very good. The service was decent. Wasn’t the happy birthday I was hoping for.
We had a large party of 10 for dinner reservations. The table was ready for us when we arrived. The service was great, as was the food! Highly recommend!
One of my favorite places to eat. Excellent burger and salad. The bread pudding is sinful and I only allow myself to have 1/2 of it every 4-5 visit.
We have a supper club of 6 that moved around to various restaurants. Tonight we tried Bru Burger and we all enjoyed the variety of selections. The food was well prepared and the service was attentive. We will be back for another adventure!
Visit was great! Social distanced. Clean. Staff very outgoing and pleasing.
Overpriced for okay food
When we arrived, we waited several minutes then were greeted by the manager, saying our waitress was swamped, so he would take our drink order. This is never a good sign, but we were patient. Finally our waitress arrived and she took our drink order...again. Though we told her the manager had already taken the order. Our drink orders came after waiting about 15-20 minutes- we were told the waitress would be right back with a glass for the beer- normally no big deal to drink from the bottle, but this was a Blu Moon with an orange shoved in it. We’re we supposed to hold the orange while we drank? Our appetizer arrived and we waited for plates to come. But no plates, no waitress. We finally hopped up and grabbed plates from a service stand (certainly not my idea of COVID friendly). After several more minutes of waiting and still no glass, I decided to locate the waitress and ask her to cancel the food order, that we would be leaving. I got a “hold on”. The manager came after another several minutes and told us that the food order had only been placed 12 minutes ago, that it hadn’t been long enough to complain. I politely told him we had waited 35 minutes at this point and still didn’t have a glass for the beer, and had to get our own plates- this had nothing to do with the timeliness of the food. He also told us to hold on. Meanwhile the table next to us said, we’ve already received the same (poor) level of service...I hope this won’t be our experience too. The manager retuned with a glass and said, he took care of the appetizer. In his hand was a check for the drinks. We stood up and told him that we would be leaving. We didn’t eat our appetizer, and couldn’t drink our drinks due to the lack of a glass to drink from. Do yourself a favor and head down the road to Grindstone on the Monon. You’ll receive phenomenal service and an excellent meal! Step up your game Bru Burger, or the competition will push you out of town.
Overall it was ok, service was lacking. We will go back before we decide if we will visit regularly.
Seated immediately outdoors as requested. Server was at the table within two minutes of being seated taking the drink order. Server was attentive but unobtrusive. ....perfect
The food was excellent and received timely. The service could have been a bit more attentive as drinks ran out.
Enjoyed the food and service but not a fan of the outdoor dining.
My wife and I visited Bru Burger for the first time on a Saturday night at 6:00 PM.
The place was pretty busy due to an outdoor concert nearby, but we were seated right away.
The burgers and onion rings were very good, unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired.
Our waitress had to be reminded to bring me a glass for the beer and neglected to bring my wife the side of mayonnaise she requested.
If that wasn't bad enough she then took 18 minutes to bring me a second can of beer. That's right, $6 to wait 18 minutes for her to grab a 16oz can of beer from the bar and bring it to the table.
My wife and I will probably not be returning based on this very negative experience on our first visit.
Celebrating two birthdays. Waitress was exceptional. Food was perfect.
My burger was really good even though they forgot the egg at first. Slaw is good too. We sat outside which was a really nice patio and big umbrellas.
Enjoyable w good food and service.
The family n I enjoyed ourselves. The chicken tenders are good but need more season as well as the onion rings.
Great outdoor meal as always
Nice outdoor patio seating! Food was good, but not great.
DON C was back in town
Always a good experience. The staff is great , the food tasty and hot. We sat on the patio, the traffic can be loud but it’s not a deal breaker.
Our experience was wonderful! The food was so tasty- everything seasoned well and cooked to perfection. Our server was friendly and fun!!!
Food was good. Red wine was serviced in a chilled glass. I prefer my red wine to be room temp.
Good food but $48 w tip for burger, fries and salad.
Food was okay, my husband ordered bean burger and it was running off bun. Waitress took back but second looked same, so he didn’t eat. There was very drunk and very loud individual eating out on patio dining with a child who thought he should speak super loud and drop f bomb every other word. It wasn’t the most enjoyable birthday dinner with my family. Not blaming entirely on Bru Burger, but just wasn’t enjoyable.
Bru Burger Bar is a great place to have a casual dinner or appetizers. Comfortable, modern atmosphere and good service. While most of the entrees involve burgers, hence the name, there are other selections available in sandwiches and several good appetizer and salad choices. We had the pulled pork Barbecue Nachos and it was a large portion that was plenty for 2 and had very tender and flavorful pulled pork on a bed of nacho chips with cheese, diced tomato, peppers, sour cream and wonderful guacamole. Also had the Gorgonberry salad, which is a very hearty salad with Gorgonzola cheese, lots of crispy bacon, toasted pecans and dried cranberries. This salad is a meal in itself. Would come back to have both of these items.
Great. Outstanding. Superb. Kudos
Service was excellent!
We will be back!
We love this place! Great burgers and other sandwiches, can't beat the onion rings. One of our go-to's, all of the Bru locations.
The food is consistent and perfect every time. I order the Prococal without a bun with the basil mayo aioli. Phenomenal. The onion rings are great too. The Noblesville location is by far the best! Oh yeah, and my son said that his salmon was the best he had ever eaten. He ordered it Medium.
Thank you so much for the glowing review!! We are very humbled by your kind words!
CDG restaurants are among my favorite and I love Bru Burger. However, I’ve been to this location twice and each time my burger has been bland. The service was fantastic and the ambience was great - but the burger just didn’t have any real flavor.
Service good, food good... enjoyed eating on their outside dinning
Thank you so much for the great review RAHRAH!
Food is good, but not out of the ordinary, with the exception of the onion rings which are delicious. We had a great server, who was a lot of fun!
Karen, we are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit with us! We look forward to seeing you again soon!
We have been to Bruburger many times-both at the downtown location and Noblesville. This was the worst food experience we have had. The salad was not cold and the onion rings were very soggy. Even the burgers were just mediocre, which was unusual. Nothing to brag about.
Kipellis, This definitely does not sound like our level of excellence. Please reach out to me so that I can make things right for you. Rob Evans GM
Great food and service. All servers wearing masks and great ability to social distance on the outdoor patio
Sherrie, I am so glad you enjoyed your service and felt safe while doing so!! We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Our favorite go to burger joint! Never disappoints.
Thanks for the great words and review!
This is the first time back since the pandemic started and I would have to say I was disappointed. From the start the pretzels and cheese were outstanding as usual. However, the two salads were a disappointment which is unusual. The sriracha Caesar came out without the sriracha sauce and the salad was wilted and warm. It came out so fast it was clear it had probably been premade as the lettuce was not cool or crisp. The same could be said for the other salad as it warm, wilty, and unappetizing. The burgers came out and look as good as usual. But, the taste of the meat was off---usually they have an outstanding taste and you can tell it is made out of better cuts of meat. However, the beef in these burgers tasted like your standard fast food burger. Lastly, the fries were good but there were only half as many as usual. It appears they are training new people but it looks as though they have a ways to go to get back to the same prepandemic level. All in all unfortunately I would compare it the normal fast food restaurant but the service was good. I will return because I have always been satisfied in the past and it is our favorite place for a burger. There is room for improvement and hope they will exceed expectations on my next visit.
Steve, I am very sorry that you were disappointed during your last visit. I agree that is sounds like you didn't have the greatest experience last time. I would like an opportunity to invite you back and make things right!
Good job of social distancing and using masks!
Thanks for the great review!
Went to celebrate Fathers Day and had a pretty bad experience. Our server kept making passive aggressive jokes, didn’t ask if we wanted drinks and we had to ask if there was even a drink menu, and our apps alone took over 30 minutes. Dads milkshake came out liquidy at first instead of thick. They weren’t busy at all and manager came to the table to apologize and said apps would be paid for but when the check came, they weren’t entirely covered. My parents drove two hours and my dad was so excited to eat here but unfortunately, we won’t be back again.
I am so sorry for your bad experience. I have sent a PM to make this right for you. Rob Evans GM
Salad, cod sandwich and burger were excellent. Draft beer selection is excellent.
Thanks for the 5 stars and wonderful review Bones!
