My wife and I had a really nice time at Broma. I made a reservation on a Thursday night since we would be attending a concert nearby, and I felt like we were given a really nice table (pleasantly positioned by a gas fire place, away from the noise of the bar and the swimming pool). Based on what I've seen online, it looks like the menu can vary. We ordered two cocktails (one from the menu and one off-menu), two starters, one main course, one dessert, and one after-dinner drink. Throughout the entire meal, several staff members kept us well-attended. It really felt like everyone was working together as one very well-oiled machine. The starters came out one at a time, which worked out perfect for us since we like to share everything. In addition to being delicious, the dessert was a wonderful surprise of different textures. It really left us with the impression that each dish was really well-thought-out in every detail. I would definitely come back here, again!

I'm not sure why Jamon is so insanely expensive, but I would skip it. The octopus was good, and the other dishes were average. Nice space, but not worth the price overall.

Great experience at Broma. My husband and I ordered the tasting experience and the chef chose all items. The food did not disappoint! 8 amazing courses of food! I loved every course and was able to have so many different items from lamb to octopus, including wonderful grilled vegetables and burrata salad with tomatoes and peaches. The selection hit every taste bud! I would highly recommend for a long leisurely dinner.

Fabulous Spanish food. Service was warm, friendly and efficient. Had a hard time making decisions on the menu. Luckily they provide an amazing tasting menu at a very reasonable price for the quality. We even had a vegetarian in the group, and she was very happy. Will be back. Thank you Broma!

Excellent service. Very accommodating. The place is in a boutique hotel. Not very big and wasn't very crowded on a Sunday night. We sat in the courtyard where you are blocked from the traffic and views of the "industrial park" like Google campus. You can hardly tell that you are surrounded by Google/Microsoft/Intuit buildings. The food quality is good, but I wouldn't say exceptional. Maybe I was expecting a lot more. The style is Spanish tapas, so most dishes are meant for sharing and that includes the main courses which are definitely too big for one person.

We opted for the Broma experience. A 6 course “small” plate tasting season menu. Everything was so flavorful and the timing was excellent. My only regret is that I didn’t save enough space for the main course. A squid ink pasta with mussels and sausage. It was outstanding!

Second time at Broma (went back 2 months after our first visit). Service is still great, food is still great. There's a few outdoor tables (with heating) but we sat indoors both times because we wanted to avoid the breeze. Flavors are on-point, and plenty of options with different meats, seafoods, and veggies but not an overwhelming amount. On the pricier side, but worth it. Can't wait to go back!

The service was outstanding with our server very knowledgeable about the menu. The flavors of all the dishes were complex and complimentary across the board. The cocktails were a great addition to our dinner. The croquetas de pollo e manchego are a must try, the Portuguese sardine is the perfect combination of umami, salty, and sweet, and the octopus was inspired with a little bit of heat and great contrasts in texture.

This place is great! We weren’t sure what to expect but saw the menu and it looked good. Food was delicious. We had the chorizo octopus sausage, asparagus, sardines, fish entree and lentil entree. Everything was good proportions. I really really liked my lentil dish it was perfection and made good leftovers as well! Staff was accommodating and very friendly. Will be coming back. Our 1st starter of Cinco Jotas Jamon Iberico de Bellota, Picos Camperos tasted great but extremely meager for the price, $55, so that was a grave disappointment. Our 2nd starter, Portuguese Sardine, Toasted Baguette, Sofrito, Guindilla & Jamon ($16.50) was DIVINE. Our entrees of Sherry Braised Pork Shank, Iberico, Yukon Gold Potato, Chimichurri ($38) was fabulous; 28 Day Aged Ribeye, Horseradish Cre`me Frai^che, Shallot, Demi-Glace ($68) was very tender: Overnight Day Boat Scallops , Carrot Nduja, Parsnip Emulsion, Peanut, Kumquat ($40) was well seasoned and nicely presented but only 1 large and 2 smaller Scallops so the portion was again, too small. We shared one dessert of Basque Cheesecake, Berry Jam ($12) and that was excellent. The restaurant also gave each of us one La Estepena Polvoro'n de Almendra to celebrate our anniversary with a candle which was a nice gesture.

Spanish and Catalonian food are not on every street corner, so to have a place like Broma to go and enjoy it is noteworthy. However, having been to and dined in Barcelona and other Spanish and Catalonian restaurants in the Bay Area, while Broma is solid, for the price point, it did not leave an indelible impression. The service was great and very attentive but the food was solid but will be soon forgotten. Of the six small plates we ordered, the Hamachi crudo was the standout. Cascal, also in Mountain View, feels like a better value and experience alike.

Broma surprised us by being in a hotel with a cozy ambiance and excellent service and food! We started with a smoky mezcal mole cocktail- delicious. We ordered the bacalao fritters, patatas bravas, hamachi crudo and then the scallops and vegetarian main courses. All were amaaaaazing and the attentive service added to our dining pleasure:)

Food was just ok nothing spectacular. There were only 4 dinners in the whole restaurant and we still had to wait on our drinks after all the food was on our table. Probably won’t go back again.
