Come enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Broken Keel. We are located at 115 E River Street. We offer seating on our outside patio and in our inside historic restaurant. Broken Keel has live music for lunch and dinner every day of the week on our outside patio. We have $2 ship shots every time a cargo ship goes by, OH SHIP! Our signature dishes to come enjoy are our grouper sandwiches and our surf and turf burger topped with pieces of lobster and a creamy lobster bisque.

Eating on the river, you know you’re going to be in a more touristy spot. So taking that into account when reviewing. Food was fine at best. .Seafood nachos with shrimp and lobster - zero lobster, a few shrimp chopped up and a bunch of broken chips. Fish and chips was totally overdone. Many seafood items but seemed to all be make with cheese, sauce, etc. But the worst part was the wait. Drinks took forever - if they came and were not good. Food took a full 45 minutes. Towards the end of the waiting, waiter was nowhere to be found as every table around us had been waiting forever. Once the food was delivered no one ever came back to check and see if everything came out right - which it didn’t. Eat off the river!!!

Our waiter Jakob was great. Apologies for asking so many questions. A larger dinner party had slowed down the kitchen. But, all in all a nice experience.

Food and atmosphere were great but we wanted to sit outside and we were seated right next to the band. Could not hear a word, even for our server we had to point at the menu to tell him what we wanted to order.

We ate on outdoor patio overlooking River street while watching ships and boats go by. The vie was great as well as atmosphere and live music as well as food and drinks.

It took forever to get our food. Not to mention it’s my birthday and they advertised free desserts for your birthday and they gave me nothing. Not even a happy birthday 🥹😞

Great atmosphere! Food was flavorful, had fried shrimp and house salad, but sitting outside under an awning with live music was awesome. Great location on River Street.
