Overall amazing food and service! It was loud where I could hardly hear my husband in front of me.
Food and service was good. Noise was very high with a small crowd. It was hard to have a conversation so we won’t be coming back.
I had the chicken parmesan reminded me of a TV dinner when I was a kid in the late sixties
There must have been a different chef than normal. Got my order wrong and the portion was much smaller. They were out of avocado! And the wine came after the appetizer. Also, when serving olives, it would be nice to use olive forks! and have butter knives! also, seems to be a big turnover in servers...
The food is outstanding and the service is fast. The food came out quickly and tasted great. Highly recommend BRIO.
Great waitress & quick service.
It was a birthday lunch for friend.
We had guest out of town the food wasn’t as usual the steak salad was bad and I was charged for two extra plate the manager refunded the extra charge and and that’s my guest weren’t happy
Great evening Josh our server is the best
Server was great food runners and server attendants need training. Bread and butter thrown on table with no greeting or even saying anything about the bread, even before water was poured. Hostess was leaning when we arrived. Food was very good, server was friendly and efficient
Great place to meet for lunch. Service was perfect and so was the salmon salad.
If it weren’t for the fact that it took our waitress Eva about 30 minutes to finally come around for us to flag her down so we could order, it would have been a bit more enjoyable. As a waitress, you would think that she’d know better than to rudely reach in front of people when she could have easily walked around. She also tried to sneak in a dessert on our bill that we did not order and had a bit of an attitude when we questioned the charge. I understand that the two other people who assist her split her tip, but she honestly didn’t even deserve a tip period. Hopefully the restaurant has someone who monitors customer’s experiences so that they can deal with what needs to be improved. Good service brings repeat customers!
They made my Moms Birthday extra special!
The Food and service were good. Restaurant had a nice atmosphere.
Our waitress was very attentive and gave us excellent service! We were seated promptly and the food was fabulous. We will be back :)
A little noisy for conversation. Once a large party left, we could carry on a conversation.
Our server was very patient and friendly. Food was fresh and tasty
Food was delicious! Our server was very attentive and got us out in time to make it to the comedy club.
New waiter was just doing his job, but no personal connection, ie, not even a smile. He got all my substitutions correct.
Brio is one of my favorite chains. This one is my favorite location. You can never go wrong at Brio in Irvine!
Great location, seated immediately with our reservation, great food!
GREAT meal, with timely service throughout, though it was a busy Valentine's Day evening. Hubby got the filet mignon, which was perfectly grilled. I got the salmon fresca. Both were wonderful! Value of these meals is great! It is a noisy restaurant, so it is not for a cozy quiet evening. Every sound echoes, including the kitchen chef shouting orders to his staff. But, we love the place anyway.
Service and food was on point on Valentine’s Day.
We felt a little rushed, but it was probably because it was Valentine’s Day and they were expecting a big crowd.
The salad was primarily white lettuce, with minimal dressing. BUT the olive appetizer, and the steaks were fantastic. The Gorgonzola crust, on my steak medallions, was bitter. But the steak was amazing. The vegetables were really food but the mashed potatoes weren’t great. All in all, we will come back.
Expired date beer....
The food and drink was really good . We got Italian margarita. The Salmon salad and chicken pesto was awesome.
I normally love Brio, but lately the food is just not up to par. They keep changing the menu which is also frustrating. I reserved a table for 8 (16th Bday) and let them know it was for a birthday. We arrived and were seated within 5 minutes. The place was packed and therefore, service was very slow. It took almost 15 minutes to just get water and lemonade. As soon as the drinks came out, we ordered appetizers and our main entree. Five of us ordered thr Filet Mignon and/or NY Strip. Four of the steaks were overcooked (we ordered medium rare and got medium-medium well). I knew the minute the plate was set before us that the steaks were way overcooked. I even said they were overcooked when they were presented to us, but there was no offer to remedy the situation. We had waited so long and were so hungry, we decided to eat them anyway. When you're paying $36/plate and the steaks are not cooked properly it ruins the meal. The fingerling potatoes and broccolini that accompanied the steaks were dry and cold. I understand that when it's packed, service is going to lag a bit, but quality of the food shouldn't waiver. And to top it off, there was no mention of my grandson's birthday at all. I also had a $10 off coupon that I forgot to use (bill was over $300), not that it would have made much difference. I guess I should've know better than to order steak at a restaurant that mostly specializes in Italian fare. Lesson learned. I most likely will not be back.
Went Friday at 5:30. Food was decent... service was very slow!
Restaurant was extremely loud... hard to have a conversation.
Wish this restaurant food was good.
You couldn’t taste the actual ingredients of dish you weren’t having, Super salty.
Yum! Everything was great
For lunch I had the Chicken Marsala, my Mom had the Caprese Chicken, and her friend had the Wedge Salad and Crab Cake. Brio does a very good job of grilling the chicken breasts properly -moist and not overcooked. And that crab cake was the size of a large biscuit -with a decent crab to breading ratio.
Good food and service but somewhat noisy for dinner conversation.
they are very good with substitutions. I wish they had squash soup all year round! we celebrated a birthday; and the complimentary dessert used to have great choices, but now it's only vanilla gelato or sorbet.
Food and service was great. Noise level was perfect as we had lunch with long time friends who we had not seen in awhile.
Our waitress recognized us from previous visits. She was Betty attentive and cordial. We had a wonderful dinner.
The service and food was really good. The server made us very comfortable and made sure we were well taken care of. Will definitely come back again soon.
Waited over 20 minutes for someone to get out drink order. Restaurant was quite and empty.
Excelent Service, the food was perfect thanks to jhoshua He make our dinner perfect
Service was friendly, and specialty drinks were good. Disappointed though overall because most of the entrees except the lamb chops were either way overly salted, hardly any marsala sauce with the Chicken Marsala nor lemon sauce with the Chicken Milanese.
Spaghetti Carbonara had too much pancetta, the chopped side salad was unflavored and small although the side green salad with lemon vinegarette was worth it. The worst things we ordered were the appetizers, calamari was little tiny pieces with chunks of Other fried things, and the spinach artichoke dip tasted sour. Based on the food we would nor go back there.
They are always great about my customizing my order. We're enjoying the newly added olive appetizer, but would suggest having little forks to use.
