   I made a reservation for 5:30pm at 5pm because a slot opened up on Open Table. I had been checking to see if anything showed up for a few hours since it was Mother’s Day I knew it would be busy. So when I was able to grab the reservation my family of five drove straight there. When we arrived there were signs on the door stating they were not taking walk-ins or same day reservations. So I walked in and let them know I had a reservation. The hostess found my reservation but proceeded to tell me that they would not honor it since I made it the same day. Nowhere on Open Table or their website was it stated that even though you COULD make a reservation online it would not be honored when you arrived. I got confirmations through text and email. It is unacceptable to not honor a reservation that someone made online because they DROVE to get there. I made it clear to the hostess that it was unacceptable that they couldn’t even call the person who reserved to let them know. Then, I told her that I drove all this way here and it was not right. Another hostess proceeded to say “well you made the reservation at 5:06 so you were already here”. When I told her that I was not and I had just driven there from Miami the other hostess in an accusatory tone insinuated that it was impossible that I drove from Miami to the restaurant in 20 minutes. They were exceptionally rude and to be called a liar was appalling. I will say that the manager did try to remedy the situation after he realized his staff member called me a liar but at that point who would want to eat in an environment like that. I like Brio, but this location ruins the name and that employee should be fired and not able to work in customer service.

   Mother’s Day, reservations for five. Waited ten min at table to be greeted. Didn’t get appetizer before meal that we waited an hour for. All came at once. They didn’t have expresso or cappuccino. Said machine broke. Food was tasty. Sat for a long while with dirty dishes all over table waiting for check and a to-go kids meal to give elderly mother later.

   I understand it was a holiday and some delays are expected. But they were not at all prepared for the Mother’s Day traffic. You would think with reservation only they would be better prepared. I was disappointed with the level of service and some of the food items.

   It was a good experience because we made it one since it was Mother’s Day and our moms birthday. Unfortunately they did not acknowledge the fact that it was her birthday, and they were handing out sunflowers to all the “moms” yet my mom did not receive one. Nothing special, I’m pretty sure we could’ve gone somewhere else and had a better experience for both occasions.

   It was absolutely a horrible experience. They were not prepared for all of the reservations that they took and this is actually the second time this is happened to us. There must’ve been 50 people in the reception area all extremely angry, and they kept going to the Mater D post. The management just didn’t care their stock answer was you’ll have to be patient with us. I asked multiple times should I leave? I don’t want to stay here if you’re going to make me wait past my reservation. They said we’ll see you in a couple of moments. 45 minutes later we left. Staff is incompetent, they just don’t care. We will never be back. We went next-door to cheesecake factory we were sat immediately and had an amazing meal. It worked out for the best. Don’t go to the Brio at Pembroke Gardens!!!!

   Walked in and stood at the hostess stand for a good 5 minutes. 3 employees there, not one acknowledged me, not even a hello, we’ll be right with you. I had to say excuse me and asked to check in for my reservation. We were seated 20 minutes after the reservation time which I understood since it was a holiday. The waitress took forever to come to the table, the nonalcoholic drinks came after the appetizer. We had to ask for plates and utensils. If you wanted a refill you were out of luck because everything took forever. They ran out of eggs Benedict by noon. The waffles tasted like they were frozen and reheated, and the Tuscan scramble was like they put scrambled eggs into a blender they were so watery. Knowing it was a holiday the restaurant should have been way better prepared.

   If you want salty, oily, frozen old food then this is the place for you, absolutely disgusting food

   It is not the. Rio that we used to go , average food , some good some not so much, the worst from the last visit was the meat , 3 fillet medallions very small , thin , overcooked no worth the price

    Service was poor. Lighting was to bright. Not really Italian food. Drinks warm. Jose tried his best, thank you Jose.
