   This was the second time that we visited at lunchtime. The service was not up to scratch on both visits. I think they are short staffed. It takes so long to order anything (food/drinks). Also, we thought the food very expensive but it was tasty! Maybe it’s better to go in the evening.

   We are regulars at this restaurant however today was disappointing. They have changed around the layout and we were seated in the back ‘outside’ type area which was strange but quiet. There seemed to be only one waitress for that whole area, she was very hasty and rushed understandably. The food was not of the usual standard and we had to return one dish as the beef was too salty to eat. We are usually fans of this restaurant but perhaps the ‘improvements’ are actually having a negative effect.

   Plats de qualité très différentes, découpe du canard pas terrible et qualité de la viande aussi. Par contre service très agréable

   Very salty. Food arrives in a strange order. Didn’t feel hugely looked after. Wouldn’t revisit.

   I used to enjoy this restaurant, but my recent visit was a huge disappointment. For a place with such high prices, the food quality has dropped significantly. It was poorly cooked— the flavour were bland and the ingredients were stale. It’s frustrating to see a once-great restaurant decline like this. For the price they charge, I expected far better execution and consistency. Sadly, I won’t be returning anytime soon.

   This is among the best Chinese food I have had. I would describe it as Chinese fine dining, so you would not expect the same prices as you get at an ordinary Chinese restaurant. Everything is prepared with care and the balance of flavors is excellent. I had a hot dish, but, while the spiciness was there, it did not overwhelm the other flavors. The welcome was very friendly and the service was attentive without being oppressive. The waiter was happy to explain details about the dishes Two things that potential diners should be aware of. The "cocktail bar" does not actually serve cocktails, and the bar staff are very inexperienced. Fortunately, the manager was there to sort out even the simplest of orders. The other aspect is the lighting. Very bright, which affects the ambience. But that's easy to fix. The tables are reasonably spaced. Overall, I would happily come here again. I would just get my pre-dinner drinks elsewhere.

   Went back after a long time. Food was bland and not worth the money. Ruined by bday dinner. Now that I think back at it, food was thrown on the plate. Nothing like the nice presentation on the menu. Poor standard it has dropped to.

   Bright Courtyard was great before, but it was extremely bad when we dined in on 28th Jan, 2025. As this day was Chinese New Year, the restaurant was fully and over-booked, in fact, the restaurant and the kitchen have no capacity to handle the situation so things end up with a totally chaos. We made the reservation in advance via OpenTable, and a staff from the restaurant contacted us immediately thereafter and asked us to pre book all the food in advance with a deposit payment. He explained no more dishes can be added due the Chinese New Year and kitchen may be busy, which we understand at that time point. When on the day of 28th Jan, we arrived at the restaurant on time at 7 pm, and we were sitted at about 7:20 pm (which is still OK for now), and the first dish just came to us at 8:50 pm (1 and half hours for a single plate?). There’s only a single dish for another long wait for about an hour, until we have other dishes (so in total about 2.5 hours wait for most of the food, still two dishes not come). And there’s limited response when we try to find a restaurant staff for help, a young man even just ignore our hand-wave for many times so we have to come to the front desk to ask what happened and where are our dishes. We then confused: what is the point of ordering everything in advance suppose it’s so slow? At around 10 pm, there’re still two dishes not come, and we just cancel those and pay the bill and left. Another thing to be mentioned, we found there’re many tables who can order their food at restaurant, we felt cheated by the stall who called us earlier by saying “you cannot make order or add food at restaurant”. Myself and my friend have been to this restaurant in the past about 7 years for over maybe 30 times for all our “big event” celebration and holidays, but this time we were all very very disappointed. When you don’t have capability, you should NOT over-booked for yourself.

    First and last visit—definitely not worth the price. The presentation was unimpressive, the portions were small, and most importantly, the food wasn’t served hot. The chicken soup arrived already portioned, but it had spilled everywhere. I would have much preferred to serve it myself. The dessert, Rice Wine Soup with Rice Bites it tasted like plain water. The staff were kind and helpful in packing my takeaway, but unfortunately, the lid wasn’t secured properly. By the time I got home, everything had leaked. I had high expectations for this Lunar New Year’s Eve dinner, but it turned out to be a major disappointment.
