Erica, our server, was amazing! Very attentive and very nice! Would definitely recommend.
The food was amazing and the service was top notch. Craft cocktails were great as well. Highly recommend for a date night
It was my first time dining here, and I loved it! Delicious food paired with an amazing view of the San Diego bayfront. A wonderful way to celebrate my birthday! Thank you, and looking forward to coming back sometime!
Beautiful dinner literally on the water. Lovely setting!
Everything was great!
A very nice meal with fantastic service and wonderful ambience.
Great experience at Brigantine tonight. Beautiful ocean sunset view. Food was amazing. I always love everything that I order. I usually get seafood. The specials are always great. We celebrated our anniversary and our waiter was so nice to bring us a complimentary dessert to help celebrate. This is definitely one of my absolute favorite restaurants and you should definitely give it a try.
Fish tacos are the best...by 230 the sun is too hot to sit next to the tables by the water. Waitstaff busy and never came back for more water and drinks.
I will try again.
Ambiance and views are always great on the waterfront. The swordfish with broccollini and risotto was delightful, actually better than expected, I don’t usually like risotto. The lobster tacos were just ok and the sides were a weird combination; truffle fries and green beans. The fries could have been crisper, too soft for my liking.
Food was great, view was beautiful, server was helpful and efficient.
Service and view were great. Food was not what I expected from a Brigantine chain. The La Mesa locations food is always top notch and portside was a disappointment. Salads were watered down and lacking flavor. Fish tacos were bland and underwhelming. With restaurant limitations on capacity I didn’t like that they didn’t allow any ordering from the bar menu if you were sitting in the restaurant side. Especially when ordering an entree. Disappointed overall but the view was amazing.
Easy check in. Pleasant and helpful staff. Food selection ample. Portions ample. Dinner was tasty and prepared nicely. Ambiance lovely.
Excellent venue after the remodel. Gorgeous views outside; great vibes inside.
There was a hiccup with the food but the manager Alberto and Marissa were awesome in fixing the evening. They were understanding and proactive in their problem solving and because of that we will be back. Nothing is ever perfect but it is all about taking care of the customer who is paying to have an enjoyable dining experience. Alberto and Marissa made sure we did. Thanks you two.
My family and I had an amazing dinner at Brigantine - Portside Pier. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. From the staff—notably our waiter Armando—to the food, it was a perfect experience. We will most certainly continue to come here for our family socials! Cheers.
Fabulous view delicious food and great service - highly recommend!!
Lobster tacos were delicious, view is amazing. Service was prompt but not overly rushed. Great experience
We love our new neighbor, the Brigantine. The hostess Isa put us in a great table with fabulous view. We ordered a brig salad, lobster tacos, swordfish tacos and stuffed shrimp. All were delicious and everyone was pleased.
The stuffed prawns were delicious and the atmosphere wonderful.
We were seated quickly with a reservation and were fortunate to be seated on the water. Our lead server, Forrest, was training our server Courtney. Forrest was well-informed and very professional; while, Courtney was attentive and thorough. Our meals, Fish & Chips and Lobster Tacos were good tasting and complimented by a beautiful waterfront sunset.
Great place. We hadn't been to San Diego in 20 years, found out Anthony's fish grotto was gone so we tried out the Brigantine. Food was excellent, we had a table overlooking the water, and our servers couldn't have done a better job. Highly recommend this place.
Emily was our server and she was FABULOUS! She was super knowledgeable and friendly! The food was top notch!
The service was poor, and the food was not up to their usual standards. I love the view, but won't be back.
French dip didn’t have much taste. Lobster and crab salad was drenched in dressing.
We had such a nice dinner outside on the patio by the water. The sunset views are amazing!!! Our waiter Christian was very friendly and personable. We got lucky enough to watch a sweet engagement proposal during our dinner! There was a couple crunchy spots to my risotto but otherwise the food was good.
The service was good oysters fresh However if my husband wants Ahi appetizer on his Birthday he should be able to order as many as he wants . We were told no .Our server said she could not order our request Bar menu, What ? I was in fine dining in SD for 25 years and yes is always the answer guests want. Keep it fresh , Don't go commissary .
Fantastic location...right on the water!! Very lovely!
Great food perfect service
Great location! Amazing service and food was on point. Will definitely be returning
Daniel is amazing!
Thank you! Food was amazing!
Enjoyed a birthday dinner at Brigantine Peir
It took a while for the server to come see us after seated. Other than that, it was so worth the visit. So far a favorite stop before a Padres game!
Great service. View was beautiful. Food was great! Great time with great friends
Perfect dining experience! Will return soon. I recommend this place to everyone who wants a beautiful View with their meal
Our experience couldn't have been better! From start to finish our expectations were exceeded! Would recommend any of the Portside Brigantine restaurants to anyone! Can't wait to go back!
Our experience were awesome from reservations to the actual day of the occasion. Since it was downtown San Diego, I was a bit concerned about parking but was pleasantly surprised that there were sufficient city paid parking spaces. When we got to the front desk it only took a couple of minutes before Elisa our usher walked us to a table which has a perfect view of the waters & the sunset. Our waitress Lisa was really wonderful and helped us with the drinks & food menu. She told us about the Easter special menu they were offering which was Prime Rib. I got their special and my husband who was celebrating his birthday got the salmon. We both enjoyed the meal including the calamari for our appetizer & the clam chowder soup. The restaurant was beautiful with a great ambiance. We will keep it in mind for our future dining reservations. I want to thank Elisa & Lisa for our excellent dining experience.
Good job you all.
Easter brunch, sitting dockside in the beautiful San Diego sunshine, crab cakes Benedict, feeling safe and relaxed, what could be better on Sunday!
Ambience was beautiful! We go a table on the patio area breathtaking ocean/bay views. The food was a bit overpriced, but I guess you're slightly paying for the ambience. Great service!
I really enjoyed the whole experience. I tried the brussels sprouts, NY steak (medium rare) and the mahi and they all tasted great. The perfect margarita and their vodka mule were good and refreshing. Our server, Jerry, was great and constantly checked on us to make sure we were doing good. Food was prepared quickly and was savory. Overall a great experience. We had a reservation at 9:45p so it was not too busy and there was plenty of parking next door.
