Bricco has garnished superlative reviews from food writers in Boston and around the country – Best Guaranteed Meal in the North End and Best Pasta in Boston just two of the most recent accolades.
The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines.
Bricco also offers a sophisticated late night scene. The chic and energetic bar serves up great one of a kind cocktails as well as brick oven pizza with gourmet toppings such as prosciutto and fresh mozzarella from Italy in addition with appetizer selections.

Great service and good food, but portions were a bit small for the price.
Emilio was our waiter and he was so personable and attentive. Such good energy.
Lobster Ravioli was delicious
Excellent food. Reservation for 9:30pm was seated at 10pm pretty annoying but again a good meal.
Had an amazing time and it was just a quick pick on here... saw plenty of good reviews and took a chance.. the octopus was great not chewy and for those worries not spicy.. the carpaccio was amazing I almost ordered 2nd and 3rds of it.. i had the dry aged cowboy ribeye and they cooked it exactly to my liking and has a nice touch of salts on the side to use. My wife had the salmon and that was great she said was very soft and not fishy.. have yo say they k ow what they are doing and if I am back in Boston again I am coming here!
Perfect table...great food and service!
Birthday. Our waiter Emilio was insanely good. I could not recommend him more! He was so patient with my family, took time to explain everything, very attentive and overall great personality.
Great Italian food, drinks, and steaks with a staff that makes you feel at home.
I want to go back now. Love the place, we try and go every year.
Incredible space and the food was amazing. Service was great as always. I LOVE this place for a great romantic date 😊
Good food, great service. A perfect location for date night.
Portion sizes were small. I got a very small amount of pasta and the meatballs on the dish were small as well. Quality of the food was OK. Location and ambiance were great.
It was ok. Honestly I thought it would be amazing. It was pretty bland.
Excellent dinner, seated downstairs by the open windows. Good spacing and safety protocols with hand sanitizer at every table. We had Caesar & Caprese salads, tortelli pumpkin & a lemoncello shrimp special. Everything was great and our server, Wolmar, was excellent.!
First time at Bricco and it was amazing! My friend and I always go to the North end. Although pricey the food, drink, and service make it worth it. Alex was our server and he was great! Will definitely be going back.
Amazing just perfect for the occasion
It was a great italian restaurant, and sitting outside was great.
Not what I expected. Seated upstairs when I asked for downstairs or outside. Made a reservation and still had to wait. Pasta was very undercooked for both my girlfriend and myself a meals. $19 for an espresso martini? Server was good. Food was not up to par. May not be back here again. Very disappointed for the money I spent.
The North End is so vibrant with all the outside dining going on (not in an overly crowded way), just so nice - should have been doing this for years.
I love Bricco - been enjoying this restaurant for at least 15 years! I have tried others in the North End if we want a special meal, but I always am slightly disappointed and often wish we had gone to Bricco afterwards. The food is reliably very good with a nice variety of specials in addition to a wonderful standard menu. It's a perfect place for a fun night out - it's not stuffy at all, but you feel like you could get dressed up if you wanted to or go fairly casually and you'd be comfortable either way. It's not a tourist trap because it's pricy, it has a nice bar and they make some really good standard cocktails.
Service is usually good, some of the waitstaff can be a bit surly on occasion - all are very well trained and efficient. If you are sitting inside, try for a downstairs table in the Main/Original dining room by the windows or as a second choice by the upstairs windows when the weather is nice to get a full view of busy Hanover St.
I always recommend Bricco for North End fine dining.
Food and Service were above standards. Safe and enjoyable. Patty our server felt like we were family.
Food, service and atmosphere was great!!
Creative twists on decidedly Italian fare. My husband and I shared an appetizer, a pasta, and a "secondi" dish & it was filling but not too much. It was all delicious. We had a very pleasant server.
The service was attentive and prompt -no waiting. The octopus was the most tender I have ever had. Over all, the best all around North End dining establishment.
The service was outstanding 👏 👌
Not to mention the food and atmosphere. Will definitely be back again!
It is always a great experience when I visit Bricco.
Indoor and well spaced. Exceptional food and good service. Making a nice effort with physical distancing both indoors and out
Emilio is absolutely amazing!!! Make sure you ask for him!!! Total game changer
The food was incredible. We got the gnocchi and filet mignon for meals and prosciutto watermelon and smoked mozzarella as an app. Loved all of it
Listen, I absolutely love this place. Been coming here for years. I came back for my first time since the pandemic and the food - amazing. Patio seating - amazing. Please ask for Patty - so personably and fuuun and all around fabulous! Espresso martini - wonderful. Loved the whole experience UNTIL right after we paid and we’re wrapping up to leave a manager came to us and said “Okay ladies it’s time to leave.” Granted, maybe we had been there a little longer but we were buying food and alcohol the entire time and this was about 5 minutes after we paid our bill. I understand wanting to get more business, I work on commission in the service industry. But we had just spent $300 at this place, for 3 people. There had to have been a more gracious way to part with three people who positively promote this place whenever they can. It felt rude, dismissive, and put a complete damper on the evening. I would have appreciated being thanked for my patronage especially since it was the first restaurant I’ve been put to in Boston since the pandemic. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 start experience all around. It’s a shame the management didn’t have more tact and interpersonal skills.
The bus boy was outstanding! He catered to our every need, especially when one patron in our party splattered a little espresso martini on his shirt, the bus boy came running over with soda water and a fresh napkin to save his shirt! Everything was awesome, will definitely be back!
Bricco was absolutely amazing! The food and service cannot be beat.
The experience from start to finish was perfect! We were seated 30 minutes earlier and enjoyed the evening. Couldn't had asked for a more perfect night!
The food was absolutely incredible My new favorite Italian place in boston
We had a great time. Our server Patty was very friendly and helpful.
Great dining experience and ambiance!
Everything was delicious and the service was wonderful!
Everything about this place was excellent. Would love to come again another time.
