Bricco has garnished superlative reviews from food writers in Boston and around the country – Best Guaranteed Meal in the North End and Best Pasta in Boston just two of the most recent accolades.
The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines.
Bricco also offers a sophisticated late night scene. The chic and energetic bar serves up great one of a kind cocktails as well as brick oven pizza with gourmet toppings such as prosciutto and fresh mozzarella from Italy in addition with appetizer selections.

The parpadella pasta with the wild boar was outstanding as was the calamari appetizer. The bread and 3 dips was delicious and a very nice touch, rather than just the standard bread and oil.
Food was absolutely DELICIOUS, espresso martinis are also mouth watering, everything was great
We came in from the suburbs to celebrate her daughter‘s 13th birthday. Our server was fantastic and made it a special experience for the entire family. We look forward to spending many more family dinners at Bricco!
Service was impeccable. We ordered the beef carpaccio and there was a grocery sticker (probably from the lemon garnish), no big deal. My boyfriend has a shellfish allergy and there was definitely some cross contamination as he started to get a very scratchy throat halfway into his sea bass meal. Could be a little more careful here. Otherwise, Beef short ribs were amazing as usual
The place was very crowded but very well managed. The food I would give a 4 stars but may have been an off night. My son got a filet but it was fatty which was disappointing. The Caesar salad was pretty but really had no flavor...and the popovers were cold and meh. my husband and I both enjoyed our dinners but it seemed we got lucky.
Our waiter was absolutely phenomenal!! He truly made the night for us. We chose Bricco after reviewing many North End restaurants. We were walking by earlier in the day and asked the maitre d if we could request a table by the open window for our reservation (which we made over a week earlier as part of our Anniversary trip to Boston) He assured us and even wrote it down next to our reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes early, the table had just been given to another couple. His only response was -Oh, do you want to choose another table? Food was very good and prices were reasonable. The maitre d was really the only bad thing about our trip to Boston.
Dinner was a 10/10. Yes pricey but worth it. Still raving about it days later. Can’t wait to go back
Always top notch service and food. Highly recommend
Great food. Everything was delicious. Great service, amazing atmosphere. Will be back!!
Truly the most incredible North End experience in Boston. We ordered the Caprese and meatballs to begin, and the short ribs and brick chicken for entrees. Everything was impeccably cooked, beautifully prepared and extremely fresh. Best Burrata in the North End! The shorts ribs were the most tender and moist I’ve ever eaten, rather than just a “fall-apart texture yet dry and in need of reduction“ you tend to find elsewhere. I have a shellfish and pepper allergy...our server was extremely knowledgeable and took great care during the ordering process and delivery of our meals to ensure my safety. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with beautiful woodwork and detail over the bar area. I’m Sicilian and an old school traditional Italian food fan...parents are off the boat. Bricco does NOT disapoint!
Bartender was exactly what you want. Knowledge of the menu, wine list, etc. was second to none.
Great Experience all around
excellent meal, great experience ... would definitely return
Gnocchi and Espresso martinis. Yummmm!!
Awesome.. one of the best Italinan cuisine experience ever!
The food is outstanding. The espresso martini is probably the best I've ever had - don't skip it.
Food was delicious; our servers were fantastic!!!
We expected Bricco to be great and we were not disappointed. Food, service, ambiance all excellent.
We had a great dinner at Bricco. Drinks were great, pasta dishes were phenomenal and our waiter, Emilio, was outstanding!
My partner and I arrived a bit early for our reservation and we were promptly seated. The waiter was incredibly kind, informative and answered all our questions. The food!!!! Portion size was perfect and everything was delicious. I will definitely be returning. 😊
Food was excellent
It was my husband’s 50th birthday and it could not have been more perfect. When we arrived our table was ready. We were whisked upstairs to the dining area and very quickly greeted with water and met our server. We were given time for a drink order. We followed with appetizers, entree order, lovely conversation with our amazing server, Veula. She was knowledgeable about the menu and the area. She was conversational and not intrusive. The food was FABULOUS as was the wine! I cannot wait to return to Boston and dine here again!
Delicious food. For my main course I got the ricotta pillows. Absolutely amazing.
Very great service great food would definitely come back for our anniversary
The food was absolutely amazing and the ambiance was very relaxed. The staff was very friendly and attentive! Definitely planning on coming back.
This place is beyond words. From the greeting, to the service to the food. Every step of our dinner was SPECTACULAR. I cannot believe how wonderful our experience was. They were accommodating...made our dinner so memorable! The chef was absolutely incredible, came over, said hello and made sure everything which was perfect...which is absolutely was. I cannot recommend this place enough 🙌🏽
Amazing food , I love that they’re not completely virtual and u can still interact with the servers , They did not participate in restaurant week on the weekend bummer , but a good experience non the less , I would love to see a better cocktail menu , but the wine selection is huge and affordable , all in all I had a great time and would revisit as
Bricco has the best Espresso Martini in Boston - can't beat the atmosphere and the food is fantastic.
Service was great! I highly recommend the tuna. It was beyond amazing.
Food was a good portion size, wine recommendation was great and our server Emilio was amazing. Wonderful place to have a quiet date night!
We went to Bricco looking forward to trying their menu. We got the zucchini flower app and the fried calamari, shrimp and scallop misto. They were both good. We decided to split their osso bucco and that’s where things fell apart. The meat was fine, no where near the best I’ve had but decent. It was served with saffron risotto and spinach. The spinach had literally no seasoning. Zero. No garlic, no oil, no salt, nothing. The risotto was cooked/reconstituted with seafood broth which the waitress freely admitted. Sorry, but when serving with a meat shank, it’s got to be cooked with chicken stock, vegetable stock or beef stock. The seafood through off the balance of the entire dish. When I told them that the food was disappointing, they offered us a free dessert but we really weren’t interested so we got the full price bill and left. I’ll go somewhere else next time I’m in the North End. Somewhere where the cook pays attention.
Bricco's is delicious and the service is great! However, it was very crowded for dining inside during a pandemic.
The food and service was outstanding. We will definitely go again!
Loved this visit during restaurant week!!! The filet was the best I ever had. Appetizers and dessert killed it as well. A little high end for me so Restaurant week made it work!
Came here with my partner for the dine out Boston special and we are incredibly glad we didn’t pay full price 😅 the place was quite busy for a wednesday, we weren’t seated until 15 minutes after our reservation (8:15pm) and waited another 20 minutes before our order was taken. We ordered the Brodetto and lobster mash with braised short ribs, 8oz prime filet and pork tenderloin, ending with the blueberry cheesecake and tiramisu. The lobster mash was pretty good but the brodetto tasted like clams steams in straight water- there was no flavor whatsoever including even a seafood taste which was incredibly odd. We asked for bread to try the broth with and had a waiter try to take the untouched dish away twice and finally getting some on the third request which ended up being a let down anyhow. The filet was cooked very well but the pork was so dry we couldn’t imagine what would happen if they didn’t serve it with a whole dish of sauce. Both of the desserts came out and were fine but nothing to write home about. Like I said, I’m incredibly glad we didn’t pay full price and maybe just caught them on a bad day considering how busy they were but I unfortunately can’t say I’d recommend it. :(
Waiter was so knowledgeable and excellent in timing of the meal. Food was amazing!
we sat at the bar, had a wonderful server and the host helped us get an Uber to take us back to the hotel. we look forward to our next visit there
Delicious food. Downstairs is definitely more fun to sit in but overall great family dining
