Bricco has garnished superlative reviews from food writers in Boston and around the country – Best Guaranteed Meal in the North End and Best Pasta in Boston just two of the most recent accolades.
The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines.
Bricco also offers a sophisticated late night scene. The chic and energetic bar serves up great one of a kind cocktails as well as brick oven pizza with gourmet toppings such as prosciutto and fresh mozzarella from Italy in addition with appetizer selections.

Visiting Boston after living here for 4+ years and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Bricco. One of the first restaurants I ever visited in Boston and happy to come back after all these years.
All the flavors were amazing and the ambiance was cozy. Can’t wait to go back and try more!
Excellent food and service. A little pricey and loud, but we were so happy we went!!!
Had a wonderful birthday dinner at Bricco. Everything was delicious!
The noise level was a little off putting at first but as the evening went on a few louder tables left. The food was excellent and our server was polite, gracious and observant. Beautiful and delicious describe both the pumpkin tortellona and the 7 herb brick chicken. Would definitely eat here again. Bought a gift card as a thank you for someone at billing!
Food was subpar - was expecting better. Food prices were fair, smaller portions, loud atmosphere…wouldn't revisit or recommend
The restaurant is so loud conversation is difficult. Three of the five dinners were served room temperature, at best. While the food taste was good, feeling like it needed to be warmed up is not ok. Overall felt like eating in a noisy packed club.
The food is overrated and overpriced, the food was bland and nothing special, definitely not worth the $30 price for a tomato base pasta. Our waiter barely came by our table after he realized we weren’t buying a $100 bottle of wine, he came over 1 time during the entire meal, not once during our appetizers, we sat with empty water glasses for 20 minutes.
Overall I was truly disappointed from my experience in this restaurant.
Customer experience is awful.
After searching and reading reviews on North End restaurants, I decided to take good friends that came exploring Boston for first time.
Bricco was chosen and we all had high expectations but unfortunately we were very (VERY) disappointed.
It took a long long time for the food to be served, yes the restaurant was super busy but waiting for entrees to come for almost an hour, is unacceptable.
We tried to ask for the status and didn't get the attention .
While eating his fish , my friend tasted something weird and found a hair (long one) inside.
As you can imagine, we were done with eating.
We called the waiter and he was in shock too BUT no one came to talk with us and give us the chance to share our bad experience.
Not the food but the human interaction was very disappointing.
Manager was notified but didn't come
Issues like this can be happen,we are all human and make mistakes, but we need to admit and learn.. in this case it didn't happen
We paid and left
I understand the restaurant is busy and very successful but for me it is the last time I will go visit there
Delicious food and great service! I had the pumpkin tortellini, which was good. My favorite was the zucchini blossom appetizer.
Overall good experience. The wait staff was slow attending to our party of 4 once a new party of 5 was seated. Food was very good. Noise level was initially fine but then got really loud as more tables were seated.
Excellent food in a great location. Waiter turned us on to a few dishes that were out of this world. Highly recommend
Fine food and excellent service. Noise level a bit too loud but if they lower the music, it will help.
The restaurant was more casual and noisy than we expected from the images and description on the website. Although we made reservations well in advance, we were seated in a bar area with sports on the TV. Hard not to look to look when the screen is over your partner’s shoulder. The food was tasty but the dishes we ordered were small portion sizes. It was a milestone anniversary for us - but it turned out to be a less than special night out - long wait for initial drinks and had to ask twice. It took so long and we were starving so we ended up eating too much bread. One of our meals was piping hot but the other person’s was lukewarm and hardly had any sauce and what was there was gummy. Maybe it was dried up on the plate having been under lights? I told my spouse that I was trying not to think about the negatives and didn’t want to complain about them which makes for an even less enjoyable night. You shouldn’t have to point things like this out when dining at a restaurant that easily comes in at $125+ meal for two that we thought would be a fine dining experience.
Our waiter was amazing!! We had multiple courses and everything was delicious!
Our waiter Vuvo was amazing. He helped pick wines and helped us select entrees! Food was amazing!
Dinner and service were both amazing! Phenomenal espresso martinis as well made a birthday celebration perfect.
The noise level was so high we were forced to eat outside. Fortunately, it was a pleasant evening. Our dinner sounded intriguing, but it must sat under heat lamps because the pasta had settled into congealed masses in the bottom of the bowls. Lastly, we we opted to eat outside, the staff never mentioned their draconian time policy. It turns out that they cannot serve food/drinks after 9:45 and the tables must be cleared and broken down by 10:00pm. So much for a leisurely dinner or lingering over drinks.
Came here to celebrate my birthday and they did not disappoint! Drinks, apps, main course and dessert were all delicious.
The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. The seafood risotto was outstanding. A little loud for dinner but that did not deter from having a great experience
Delicious food, extraordinary service. I became ill about an hour after my meal which was worrisome.
I’m suspicious it was the duck I had ordered. I had only eaten a small portion of my meal, and decided to have some more today when I was feeling better. Bad idea. Symptoms recurred again in 45 minutes.
I’m very sad.
Everything was absolutely amazing. We always dine here when visiting Boston. Exceptional in every way
Impeccable service along with creative pasta dishes and an overall wonderful menu! We enjoyed this meal more than any other during our stay in Boston!
The North End and Italian Food are synonymous. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, as out of town guests, I am happy we found Bricco. The service was excellent, as our server Gabriella expertly guided us through our dining experience.
We had a Caesar Salad and Burrata as our two starters and they were superb. My wife loves branzino, and luckily it was the fish special. I opted for the agnollotti ravioli, both dishes were excellent. Bricco has a full bar and robust wine list, with specialty cocktails. We really enjoyed our experience, you will too!
Bricco were fantastic. I ate there the night before the Boston Marathon. I have pretty strict dietary requirements, especially for italian food - no garlic, onion or gluten. Bricco took exceptional care of me and I ran the next day with no issues.
The waiter was so careful to make sure nothing I ate would cause me any issues and worked closely with the chef. We were introduced to the chef at the end so that we could thank him for his attention.
Couple this with a good wine list, great tasting food and reasonable prices.
Fantastic job Bricco - definitely a must if you're in Boston
Exactly what we were looking for...high quality dinner in a cozy environment. Very friendly and attentive staff.
Excellent food and service. The atmosphere is great and perfect for a date, special occasion or group. Pasta very fresh. The filet mignonette was incredible. Highly recommend!
Amazing food and great service.
The food and service were excellent...this was our third or fourth time dining at Bricco. The one drawback was the noise...it was so bad that we almost left before ordering dinner. The noise level was made worse by the beatbox electronic music that they were playing. It was horrible, and made it feel like the management was trying to create a nightclub vibe. The night prior to eating at Bricco, we dined at Lucca (directly across the street from Bricco), and the differences in ambiance could not be more stark. We'll choose Lucca for our next night out in the North End.
Loved the energy and service and the open fire in the kitchen.
Very much in the middle of the hustle of Boston’s North End. Everything was great. Price was a bit high but the food quality was on par or just below for the price range.
Great night out
Delicious dinner, excellent service. Lively atmosphere.
Fantastic all around! The food was really high quality and authentic. Service was wonderful as well. My fiancé did not love his drink so they made him a new one with his choice of whiskey on the house. I would recommend to anyone visiting Boston!
Food was excellent, as was the service. The outdoor dining experience is charming, as the street scene in the North End of Boston is vibrant. Skip dessert here because three doors down is The Modern Bakery, in operation since 1930. The Italian pastery there is SWOON worthy!!!
The food was excellent. The bone in veal chop was probably one of the top 20 meals I have had in my whole life. Great wine list
Food and staff are wonderful Aramus and Gabby were accommodating and superb. Really enjoyed our meal. Would certainly return
The menu was diverse and the food was out of this world! My aunt bumped the table and spilled her wine and my uncle’s wine all over my uncle and the staff was very responsive and got it handled without an issue.
I would highly recommend Bricco over the other numerous Italian restaurants on the street as it felt just like being in Italy!!!
Cramped, extremely loud, small portions for an exorbitant price, took forever to get food. This isn’t the dining experience you want.
