Bricco has garnished superlative reviews from food writers in Boston and around the country – Best Guaranteed Meal in the North End and Best Pasta in Boston just two of the most recent accolades.
The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines.
Bricco also offers a sophisticated late night scene. The chic and energetic bar serves up great one of a kind cocktails as well as brick oven pizza with gourmet toppings such as prosciutto and fresh mozzarella from Italy in addition with appetizer selections.

Portions insultingly small (fritto misto barely fed 1 person), food mediocre to inedible.
I had heard good things about Bricco and the food did not disappoint. The octopus appetizer and the veal agnolotti with truffle sauce were amazing. The ambiance was nice and the service was outstanding. We had a reservation and there was no wait time. Great experience overall!
Great service and amazing food!!!! I think our server was Emilio , he’s awesome!
Outstanding. Bricco has raised its game!
Glen the bartender is a gentleman and the food is always a 10
Always a treat, slightly cramped table seating but the service more than makes up for that!
Greta food, great service.
Only issue: tables are literally 10 inches from each other. You hear everybody’s conversations and it feels a bit too close for comfort for covid.
Too expensive for the size of the portions and the food quality
Too noisy to enjoy meal.
Usually a great place but not this time. Very slow service and $140 steak for two not very good. Hopefully just an off night but with some many options not sure I’ll go back.
Food service excellent seating took a while we had reservation and we were trying to park it was a busy evening We called twice to alert them of our situation and they said they will keep the table we went in and did not have reservation
We come every year around same time. This time we brought our 1 year old for first time. They were great and accommodating. It was a great experience.
The zucchini blossom appetizer was incredible, very attentive service and warm, pleasant, comfortable atmosphere! Thank you!
Food delicious, service good, but noise level was deafening. Impossible to talk at our table due to ambient noise.
Food was excellent. Veal Osso Bucco was phenomenal. Zucchini flower app delicious. Polenta app was also great. Short ribs very good. Nice table upstairs away from the loud noise but it got louder as evening went on. One problem was parking. Website says there’s valet. There is not.
Great steak and great service
Our waiter was outstanding, if there was more waiters in the industry like him. He needs to train wait staff. Awesome
Great food and service. Little loud but not terrile. Highly Reccomend. Happening spot in the North End
Food was awesome. Our waitress Patty was the best!’
Food was excellent, as were the cocktails. Try the espresso martini. It was delicious!
Food was delicious. Waitstaff seemed overwhelmed and rushed. Not super attentive.
good food, good service, good atmosphere. food was definitely overpriced but not terribly.
It took a very long time to have a waiter come over and greet us. When he did he quickly explained to us the specials and then ran off. The food had no flavor, my lobster ravioli special was filled with potatoes and my husbands steak was not seasoned
While the food and service were great, the noise level was so loud we could barely have a conversation. We asked twice if it could be turned down and I think they may have turned it down a tiny bit but still was very loud. We were seated in what turned out to be the bar, I think the main room may have been quieter, but we didn't realize the difference until it felt rude to ask to change. If we were ever to go back, we would insist on sitting in the other room
Amazing ! Our server patty was truly a gem!
Food and service were good. Restaurant was very dark and extremely noisy, difficult to carry on a conversation at the table due to the noise.
If you are concerned about social distancing, this is not the place for you. Our table was 6 inches from the other and that is being generous.
Food was good, wine was flowing. Overall great time.
Our waiter was so nice and took care of us. This is my favorite restaurant in Boston and it lived up to our expectations to celebrate my college graduation. Amazing food, good drinks, great atmosphere.
Amazing all around as usual
Our first time dining at Bricco was fabulous. The atmosphere is cozy, the service was spot on, and the food was amazing. We highly recommend the eggplant appetizer, brick chicken, and steak.... great meal. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Boston.
Service was excellent, dishes were a hit and miss though. Octopus starter and seabass was the best we had. Osso bucco and couple other meat mains we had was mediocre at best. Asked for medium steak and it came medium rare.
Love it here except it’s gotten extremely loud since more people are dining out again. We decided as our friend group that this likely wouldn’t be a repeat place since it was just too loud. Great food though always!!
A bit crowded for a first date, but the service and food (what people actually come for) is spectacular! I highly recommend this for any kind of dining. Maybe take a date you’re not really interested in so that, at the very least, the food and service make up for it!
Could have been better. Way too busy and not enough staff. Food was good but took way too long to get anything.
Food and service were both amazing. Will be back soon!
We tried to order 3 different bottles of wine and they didn’t have any of them. The server was over loaded . Not up to normal Bricoleur standards
returned after many years (visiting Boston). it did not disappoint!
Amazing start to finish…Patti our server was the bomb!!
Although the food was amazing, the service was off.
