About this restaurant

  • Good for special occasions
  • Lively
  • Neighborhood gem
Bricco’s star has been rising steadily since restaurateur Frank DePasquale revamped the menu to feature modern interpretations of regional Italian dishes.

Bricco has garnished superlative reviews from food writers in Boston and around the country – Best Guaranteed Meal in the North End and Best Pasta in Boston just two of the most recent accolades.

The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines.

Bricco also offers a sophisticated late night scene. The chic and energetic bar serves up great one of a kind cocktails as well as brick oven pizza with gourmet toppings such as prosciutto and fresh mozzarella from Italy in addition with appetizer selections.

Another spectacular experience at Bricco. While this time was by myself the food and service didn’t disappoint. The server was great, food was wonderful and the drinks were perfect. My go to place in the North End for dinner.

I was on a corporate dinner, restaurant manager came to my table as we were wrapping up to check in on us and question why I did not tip more, I found it to be handled very poorly. I will not be dining here again.

Enjoyed the restaurant very much. It is a little loud, but the food and service was excellent. Drinks are very well priced; food is slightly high compared to other north end restaurants. Their lobster gnocchi is unique! Definitely worth a try.

Food was outstanding! Appetizers was absolutely delicious. The only one thing I have to mention ( not in a negative way) is that this place don’t have any “kids friendly” meals. I kinda expected something like that but since it’s an Italian restaurant it’s usually possible to order a plain pasta with butter and it was told by waiter that yes they can do that. Once the waiter brought the meal we couldn’t stop laughing because it was a giant plate with THREE pieces of bow pasta. Like literally THREE. Anyway, it didn’t ruin our night and my 5 years old was enjoying ossobuco that my mom ordered. Just keep it mind if you go there with kids. Oh, it’s also very loud but you kinda expect this from Italian North end restaurant.

Server was a little attentive. We had to ask the bus person for a dessert and wine menu at the end of our meal. Granted, it was very busy.

Impeccable service, as the staff was professional, courteous, and very caring. All courses were delicious. Appreciated sitting upstairs where the noise level was much lower than main floor.
