    My first experience was amazing! Food, service, atmosphere were excellent! The second time everything was really good, except my steak. It was kind of bland and dry. I always get well done, my first experience it was melt in your mouth perfect! The second could have been better. I did get to try the seafood and it was outstanding!

    Hostess was cheery when she greeted us-Waiter was very attentive-pointed out chocolate souffle was available but took time-so order with dinner. Glad he pointed it out Ordered the Lobster/seafood in saffron broth and was pleased she ordered the scallops with limoncello risotto and was equally pleased Too many choices=look forward to going back

    We live in Southport, NC, about an hour away from Brentwood. We would drive twice this distance for their food and service. It is the best restaurant we have found in the area. Go to Brentwood to dine, not eat and run.

    Annette and Kevin are the BOMB! Excellent service and amazing dirty martinis made by Annette. Kevin was very attentive and made sure we had a wonderful birthday celebration. We will be back to see those two and eat some yummy food again!

    Amazing dining experience! We celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary and we’re greeted with a beautiful table decoration. The service was friendly and efficient without feeling rushed at all. The food was spectacular. From appetizers of escargot and she crab soup, to delicious salads, to our entrees (lobster bouillabaisse and sea bass), every course brought new heights. We will definitely return to The Brentwood Inn - it really is a special place.

    Enjoyable anniversary celebration. Food was a bit heavy but it was expected; old-school, French kitchen. Jesse, our server, was wonderful. She asked our names in the beginning and remembered throughout the evening.

    Dining at the Brentwood is always a delightful experience. The food is consistently great, the setting comfortable, and the ambience very good. Whether a meal rates a 4 or 5 depends largely on the quality of service and the noise generated by neighboring diners. Last evening was a bit noisy due to loud neighboring couples, and he service was less than perfect, incomplete at times.

    First time at the restaurant and we were a party of eight celebrating our wedding anniversaries. We were fortunate to have a room on the first level and it was perfect-had the room to ourselves. Had great service and the food was so delicious. Highly recommended for special occasions. They were so nice to us and even decorated our table. Hope to make it a yearly tradition

    From the drinks, to the appetizer, fresh salad, amazing entree, we had an awesome time and the meal was the best we have had in a very long time. We have traveled all over the US and our meal was superior!!! Can't wait to go back!

    The food and service are always outstanding. Everything is impeccably cooked, artfully presented, and incredibly delicious. Easily the best meal you will eat all year. We love coming here each year while on vacation!

    Very good service and ambience. A little pricey but good quality. One thing you need to keep in mind is that the taxes are quite high. Count on adding 16% to your bill (sales, hospitality, alcohol and Little River taxes). Our food and beverage bill for 6 was $350. With the tax over $400. And with the tip we were around $475.

    After we noted a fairly high noise level our waiter escorted us to another room that was perfect. They have renovated many of their rooms and added very nice lighting outside. Food was superb, as was the service.

    Dined at The Brentwood for a birthday celebration on Friday evening. Despite being a party of 2 it took over 1 1/2 hours to receive our food, and this is based on the time we ordered, not the time we arrived. Would not recommend due to consistent reviews that also state that the service is extremely slow.

    The food was excellent once we got it. However, it took 1.5 hours after ordering to get it. I don't know if that is a typical problem or not. Everyone was very nice and apologetic, but I doubt we will go back next year during our annual vacation.
