Brian did a great job. He was a great server and made our dinner extra special
We love the Brentwood. Our waitress Crystal was friendly, pleasant and courteous.
From the cocktails to the entrees—wow! The pork ossobuco was amazing!
This is the best French restaurant in South Carolina! The drinks, the bread, the salad, the fantastic soup and the entrees were all outstanding. We were lucky to have Steve as our waiter. He was professional, friendly, attentive and efficient. We definitely will go back to the Brentwood restaurant for another terrific night out. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Awesome service & good!
Our server Eric was exceptional. Fun but professional.
The food was outstanding. We had beef Wellington and Chilean Sea Bass. Sooooooo good.
We’ll be back
Loved this place so much! Absolutely beautiful and unique. The Beef Wellington and espresso creme brûlée were to die for. Only negative was another table being very loud and due to it being in an old home the tables are all very close so it was distracting. I would 100% recommend and return!
food and desserts were awesome however the noise level was beyond acceptable for a place of that caliber. couldn't hear the person sitting across the table from me. this was unusual for this place as it is one of our favorites !!!!!!
Nice outdoor setting with live light jazz entertainment.
Excellent service. Excellent food.
Eric Masson, owner and chef, is a master both at cuisine and ambiance. Every visit is an outstanding experieince.
Food and service met the usual (high) standards. The standout for this visit was the new (to us) sommelier. The wine and wine service were exceptional. No trip to this area is complete without a dinner at Brentwood.
Excellent steam pot for me
Date had appetizer steak tips was plenty of for for her with some leftover for me
Tuesday outdoor Jazz covered and pleasant atmosphere
Always a delight. The food is wonderful. No matter what we eat. We always have to make a trip back. The chocolate soufflé was to die for
It was our anniversary . Could not have been better. It will be a time to remember
The outdoor ambience was slightly more casual than inside , it was wonderful as was the food
Waited longer than normal to be greeted - drinks and bread after meal served. 3 waiters?
Birthday dinner - server brought an ice cream and candle dessert. A balloon was at the table when we arrived. It was special.
Food was excellent. Brian, the server was attentive, engaging, and helpful. Great personality. Owner and Chef Eric always prepares a wonderful meal reflecting his French birth and training. At the same time, it is casual and incorporates low country influences. One of our favorites.
Food was delicious, and wine suggestions even better! Overall, a wonderful experience and a perfect anniversary dinner. We will definitely be back!
Our first visit to the Brentwood but not our last! We had a delightful experience!
The restaurant is located in an old home which has a charming atmosphere. Some rooms have a fireplace. The award winning bouillabaisse was disappointing. Seafood was tasteless and the broth watery lacking flavor. Partial refund was offered. Wonderful chocolate soufflé. Great service. Beef tip appetizer recommended.
Beautifully designed, excellent drinks, service, and food. Save room for dessert!
First class dining. The beef wellington was excellent. Loved the escargot too. Fine wine and atmosphere.
This was our first visit to the Brentwood, but it certainly will not be our last. Every thing was just wonderful.
Fantasy meal! A bit pricey but food was excellent. We sat near the front door which was a bit loud.
I loved the food and we had a great server. The jazz music was great. The only thing we didn’t like was that our table was small for 4 people with a lobster bake. Maybe a bigger table would have been better
we had superb service of excellent food. very little noise led to great conversation. the desserts are to die for !!!!!!! great time had by all !!!!!!!!
Great all around!
Lovely place. Staff accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. Food was fantastic. We will definitely go back.
It never a disappointment at the Brentwood. We had the amazing fried shrimp appetizers, the shrimp were huge, so delicious. My husband had the duck served three ways, I had the braised short ribs. They were a joy to devour. We can not get enough of the Brentwood.
I had the pan-seared foie gras with carmelized apples, the surf and turf (lobster and filet mignon) and the chocolate souffle with grand marnier crème anglaise and raspberry sauce. The foie gras and the soufflé were excellent. The surf and turf course was good, but having to crack the claws on the lobster myself made the experience a little messy. The service from Eric was exceptional. The walls covered in wine bottle corks made the room in which I dined very unique.
The options for dinner were different. Turns out the food was AMAZING. Eric was our waiter. Good guy, great service. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely eat there again!
Eric that is the server upstairs was AMAZING! The best service we’ve had since at the beach, highly recommend this restaurant!
Birthday dinner was the most delicious. Beef Wellington was amazing and so was the escargot which wasn’t chewy and wasn’t sandy but soft and delicious . Chocolate soufflé pushed me over the top with fullness but it was worth it.
Been there many times last nights food just didn’t come up to par, hopefully it was just last night and not a trend!
We ordered 2 meals. We ordered Bouillabaisse and a steak and veggie meal.
The Bouillabaisse was very good but was missing the fish portion, Hmmmm. oversite?
The steak meal only selection- was not on the menu (she has a severe shellfish allergy). We ordered a steak and the veggie of the night Steak was prepared correctly but contained several stringy elements and was tough meat. Not an Oversite we think.
We purposely arrived an hour early to enjoy a drink and an appetizer at the bar before being seated for dinner. The ambiance was loud upstairs and the bar was full- there were 5 or 6 people that spread-out (no 2 seats together) so no happy hour available at our table! Sad.
Next time, we will reserve 2 seats at the bar for that and a table downstairs for dinner.
Sad experience! But, we are sure we can make it work with more purposeful direction to the staff.

Absolutely delicious! The food and service were amazing. Eric took really good care of us. It’s the perfect spot for an anniversary dinner!
It was great and we will be back!
