   Best wine selection in the area. The food is always marvelous. The kicker, wonderful surprise this trip was the music playlist.

   Celebrated a Birthday at Brentwood- Waitress Jesse was fantastic. Food was very good and reasonably priced.

   Fantastic food and service! We started with escargot (the BEST!) and French onion soup (yummy). Our entrees Seafood Di' Angelo, Shrimp and Scallop Chardonnay and Chilean Seabass were outstanding! Our server Jessie helped make this a perfect evening! We'll be back next year!

   Very disappointed. Over the last several years we have been to Brentwood many times and have always had wonderful service and food. This visit was very different. Although the menu seemed the same, the quality of the meal and service gave off more of a Diner vibe. Seemed like a totally different restaurant.

   We have eaten there several times. One of our table mates had a Scallop Risotto dish where the Risotto tasted like Rice Pudding. They were nice enough to take it off of our bill.

   My son has graduated UNCW and we were on a last golf trip before he starts work and wanted to have a special dinner. While the atmosphere was great, we got nickel and dimed on everything. First we ordered Grey Goose martinis - we were charged $16 each for GGiose which is fine….but then another $2 for blue cheese stuffed olives ( which were small ) and then another entry that showed $5 each for “martini”. So $23 each. Then same thing with house salads $10- charges for Dressing, one beet and a couple flecks of goat cheese $7 ! Then at end we paid an additional $8 to use credit card …..so $360 later we were done. We sat at bar and Tony the bartender / server was great -she may have been serving the entire dining area. Also, website said there was live music and there wasn’t . We had two friends sit waterfront at Prime Bistro and spent $180 for similar meal.

   Our greeting by the server and chef started wonderful. The appetizers were good and entrees were OK. By the end our server who was wonderful was over her work capacity offered us free coffees with desert then charged us. Others in our dining room were less than happy with the service. This may have been an under staffed situation.

   We enjoy the special event dinners at The Brentwood such as Easter and Mothers Day but do recommend you try it any day of the week they are open. Chef Steve is amazing. You won't be disappointed.

    Food was excellent, very tasty. Service was a bit slow. Staff seems to have changed drastically since our last visit was slow and a little forgetful. Restaurant is a bit pricey and now they are even adding a charge for using your credit card. With a $179.00 bill you think they can afford to take care of the $4.00 credit card fee.
