The Restaurant Week menu was wider than expected and both our meals were Excellent. The service was equally wonderful. The only thing that was less than perfect was the frequent, loud movement of furniture in the room directly above our dining room. Hopefully, this was an unusual occurrence.
Went during restaurant week. Food was very good. Service was ok-not great, not terrible, just mediocre. I had short ribs and husband had osso bucco. Would order both again. French onion soup was very good, salad barely had enough lettuce to cover the plate!!
We dined here during “restaurant week” with a predetermined menu. The wine pairing for some of the courses listed “Napa Cabernet”... but the waitress said they were out! Upon further discussion we found that they had Cabernets, but none of their private label ones they were serving for this menu. So instead of offering a different Cabernet, they offered their Merlot or Pinot noir. But would not accommodate us with a Cabernet! It was not as good as it should have been. The whole idea of restaurant week is to show potential customers what you can do isn’t it?
We were disappointed with the attitude more than with the meal.
They have an upcoming Valentines special menu dinner ... also lists a special Napa Cabernet for one of the entrees... but will you really get it if you go? Ha!
Have eaten at The Brentwood many times and it never disappoints !! Food and service is always excellent ! Highly recommend that if you haven't tried The Brentwood definitely GO !!
We are always comfortable at Brentwood. Excellent service and SC Restaurant Week menu is always enjoyable. Chef's wine selections are wonderful complements to the dinner.
Always very pleased with service and quality of wine and food. They also have a great Happy Hour and Ghost Dinner.
Great place to relax and enjoy a great meal.
We have eaten at the Brentwood many times and the food and ambiance are always excellent! It is a great place for an elegant dining experience.
Food was outstanding 👌 I wished they had a better selection of wines.
it was really loud in the large downstairs dining room, with multiple large parties. The cork walls were lovely but more is needed! Otherwise great food and service. We will return!
Tried this restaurant first time during restaurant week 2020
This place knows how to I introduce first timers and retain them. The food was delicious served and presented professionally. Would recommend for everyone to try I don’t believe you will be disappointed
We will add The Brentwood to our list of fine dining places to go. (Limited places in Myrtle). This is a gem!!
Fantastic dinner from entering to exiting. Great food great service and wonderful environment. Missed the ghost but maybe next time! Food was out of this world ! ♡♡♡♡
Disappointed in food and service. Waiter did not have time for us. Food was ok but just very fair. We all had something different. I was hoping it would be memorable, it was not!
I will give it one more try.
excellent evening. we went for the restaurant week menu and were not disappointed! top notch on everything! the chef also visited our table whitewash a very nice touch of added personal service!
We had an excellent restaurant week meal. A 3 course meal for $32 can't be beat. My wife had the short rib and I had the pork Osso Buco. Both were great. Excellent service.
Wonderful food and service.
Dinner was quite good but salmon dish not as described. Noise level high - Restaurant week pricing quite reasonable
Hayley was our server and she was great, as was all staff members we interacted with. The food was excellent. Overall a Five Star experience!
Lovely restaurant for a special occasion. The server was attentive and ambience was great.
Entire experience was wonderful. Dined here twice previously and never been even slightly disappointed.
Lovely old restored home with a delightful wine list. However, although our server was very good he appeared distracted and unhappy. The food is only average. My husband ordered the filet which was cooked to order but without much flavor. My poached pear and goat cheese salad had one small bite of pear and very little goat cheese. Must say the French onion soup was delicious. Would I give this restaurant another try? Only maybe.
Excellent service from Taylor and Micha! food was delicious. my bulliobase was amazing and my wife loved her lamb chops! well worth the trip from Murrells Inlet and can't wait to return
What a wonderful evening! Everyone we encountered was a delight and the wonderful service really enhanced the meal. Excellent wine selection and the chocolate soufflé was to die for! Can’t wait to go back again.
We had a wonderful experience at the Brentwood. We were seated in a small room with a glowing fireplace and only a few tables. We were a party of five and all had exceptional meals.
Very fine meal...Service poor.. In restaurant fo 2 hours......20+ minutes between main course and desert....
Stone crab not properly cracked.
Have eaten here many times and will continue ....Staff needs some re training.
We recommended this restaurant to the concierge at our hotel as soon as we got back. The trip from myrtle beach was a little tricky but with gps we were there in no time. Coming back seemed even shorter. The food was very tasty and seemed quite authentic French cuisine. My husband had the duck confit, which we have all over the world and he thought it was the best ever. The bouillabaisse did not disappoint. This was really a shot in the dark but was actually a diamond in the rough!
Great place for a special night. French Chef. Warm, friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere
An excellent meal. We always enjoy eating at the Brentwood.
They food was superb and the service was excellent!
Always a fantastic experience. Doesn't matter what you order. It is always perfectly prepared and presented.
We enjoyed a birthday celebration dinner at Brentwood Restaurant and Wine Bistro recently. Upon reaching our table in an upstairs room, we discovered birthday confetti sprinkled on the table. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas so all was very festive. We ordered off the Early Bird menu which is quite a good value - the food was excellent. Throughout the evening, we received prompt attention from the wait staff. I have eaten at this restaurant numerous times through the years and it never fails to delight me and my guests. I highly recommend it!
I will call ahead to see if my favorite room is being used and if the menu on internet is current. My last visit failed in those two areas yet food is still good.
When we first got seated it was noisy so when we asked for somewhere quieter, they quickly were accommodating. It was perfect!
The restaurant was very quaint and comfortable. The menu was varied and ver interesting. The Chateaubriand was excellent. Our server Eric was extememly helpful with the menu and he was very welcoming and friendly. Will absolutely be returning to The Brentwood.
First time visiting this restaurant. It located in the heart of Little River SC and it’s by far the best food I had in this area and I’ve been in many different restaurant in this location. It’s themed as a haunted establishment so we had to try it out. Upon entering it was once a house and still had its old flare. When we were seated the lights started flickering so I guess we must of had a ghost dining with us. We ordered Lamb chops and Fillet Minion. The food was cooked to perfection. Note that this is an expensive restaurant but when the food is good it takes the pain out of your wallet and money doesn’t matter too much. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes fine dining with a ghost flair.
My husband and I went for our anniversary and we were treated like royalty. Our table had a small sign on it that read "Happy Anniversary". Dinner was unbelievable. The duck was cooked to perfection, the warm bread was great. We chose the Chocolate Fondant for desert and what a treat it was. I would highly recommend The Brentwood
My wife and I have enjoyed our different reasons for going to Brentwood. One of them surely is the staff !! Eric was our server this last evening, when we a
were celebrating our 52nd anniversary !! We ordered Chateaubriand for two, beautifully presented, cooked to our choice of rare, and wonderful sauces to choose from. WE had a wonderful dessert, a bottle of wine with dinner, and coffee to finish. Extraordinary evening, table set up with festive sequins, etc. for our anniversary .We cannot say enough about Brentwood. You just try for yourself if you have not been !!
Brentwood has always been a nice experience. Food and service always top shelf. Dave our waiter, has always been the best. Very professional.
Eric was an excellent server. Very attentive and friendly. Very nice ambience. Food was delicious. Hubby had pork ossobuco, I had shrimp and grits, bread was delicious and wine very reasonable! Food was served nice and hot! Fiends had short ribs and appetizers. We will definitely be back again! Everyone was very happy with our dining experience!
Food was excellent. Wait staff was fantastic. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.
