Our first visit to the Brentwood but not our last! We had a delightful experience!
The restaurant is located in an old home which has a charming atmosphere. Some rooms have a fireplace. The award winning bouillabaisse was disappointing. Seafood was tasteless and the broth watery lacking flavor. Partial refund was offered. Wonderful chocolate soufflé. Great service. Beef tip appetizer recommended.
Beautifully designed, excellent drinks, service, and food. Save room for dessert!
First class dining. The beef wellington was excellent. Loved the escargot too. Fine wine and atmosphere.
This was our first visit to the Brentwood, but it certainly will not be our last. Every thing was just wonderful.
Fantasy meal! A bit pricey but food was excellent. We sat near the front door which was a bit loud.
I loved the food and we had a great server. The jazz music was great. The only thing we didn’t like was that our table was small for 4 people with a lobster bake. Maybe a bigger table would have been better
we had superb service of excellent food. very little noise led to great conversation. the desserts are to die for !!!!!!! great time had by all !!!!!!!!
Great all around!
Lovely place. Staff accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. Food was fantastic. We will definitely go back.
It never a disappointment at the Brentwood. We had the amazing fried shrimp appetizers, the shrimp were huge, so delicious. My husband had the duck served three ways, I had the braised short ribs. They were a joy to devour. We can not get enough of the Brentwood.
The options for dinner were different. Turns out the food was AMAZING. Eric was our waiter. Good guy, great service. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely eat there again!
Eric that is the server upstairs was AMAZING! The best service we’ve had since at the beach, highly recommend this restaurant!
Birthday dinner was the most delicious. Beef Wellington was amazing and so was the escargot which wasn’t chewy and wasn’t sandy but soft and delicious . Chocolate soufflé pushed me over the top with fullness but it was worth it.
Been there many times last nights food just didn’t come up to par, hopefully it was just last night and not a trend!
We ordered 2 meals. We ordered Bouillabaisse and a steak and veggie meal.
The Bouillabaisse was very good but was missing the fish portion, Hmmmm. oversite?
The steak meal only selection- was not on the menu (she has a severe shellfish allergy). We ordered a steak and the veggie of the night Steak was prepared correctly but contained several stringy elements and was tough meat. Not an Oversite we think.
We purposely arrived an hour early to enjoy a drink and an appetizer at the bar before being seated for dinner. The ambiance was loud upstairs and the bar was full- there were 5 or 6 people that spread-out (no 2 seats together) so no happy hour available at our table! Sad.
Next time, we will reserve 2 seats at the bar for that and a table downstairs for dinner.
Sad experience! But, we are sure we can make it work with more purposeful direction to the staff.

Absolutely delicious! The food and service were amazing. Eric took really good care of us. It’s the perfect spot for an anniversary dinner!
It was great and we will be back!
Amazing food, beautiful place, great service! 5stars!
We have lived in the NC/SC arear for over 5 years and this was the finest meal we have and since we moved here. The bouillabaisse was a superb combination of flavors and the beef short rib was fork-tender with a depth of flavor born of long, slow roasting. We highly recommend Brentwood and will definitely return.
The various dining rooms in this beautiful old house have different vibes, which is really cool. The menu choices and the food quality and presentation were excellent.
My husband and I found this hidden gem in June and we have been back four times since then. We have taken family and friends with us on each return visit and they have all raved about the meals. I almost hate to leave this review, because I don’t want The Brentwood to become so busy that it’s impossible to get a reservation.
The food is beyond incredible. From the French Onion soup, the Oysters Rockefeller, the Pork Osso Bucco, the Beef Wellington, to the Pan Seared Scallops with Lobster Risotto and Duck Three Ways, it is a culinary experience!
We love the ambiance upstairs, and we enjoy our server, Eric, who has been our waiter each and every time. He is appropriately witty and entertaining, but very professional and attentive. Eric is an excellent server!
You will not be disappointed! It’s a little pricey, but definitely worth it!

A wonderful experience from the time we pulled up to their parking area from the moment we left. Food and service were both incredible!
If you like short ribs, this place is a must! The oysters rockefeller were also very good. Although they have a nice wine list, there is no Italian reds. Overall great place!
Poor service. Servers mask was dirty & difficult to look at. He was not very attentive. Requested coffee with our dessert and forgot to bring it.
Felt like we were seated in the store room. Staff continually came in to get six packs of beer and wine.
Old house smelled musty.
Very disappointing and will not return.
We celebrated my wife’s birthday and as always we were impressed. The meal was excellent and our waiter (Eric) made the evening complete. I would highly recommend Brentwood to anyone looking for a great meal in a beautiful atmosphere. We have enjoyed dining at Brentwood numerous time and look forward to our next visit. Thank you for a Great evening
Last meal of our Myrtle Beach vacation, and it was great! Food, service, and staff were top notch.
Great food and service will go again
Very nice french dinner with our friends! Great seafood chowder, bouliabesse, and most remarkable creme brule and profiteroles..to die for!
A great dining experience, nice ambiance and very friendly staff complete a great evening!
We both had the sea bass with carrot ginger sauce which was prepared perfectly
Outstanding service, food and atmosphere. A little pricey but OK.
What can I say, except everything was perfect.
Wife and I went to Brentwood to celebrate our anniversary and was not disappointed. The salads and meals were absolutely delicious and the restaurant made us feel special by decorating the table for us in an anniversary theme.
Great food, great service, beautiful venue, great atmosphere. Celebrated our anniversary here. Will definitely return. Would highly recommend.
Lobster and Jazz Thursday. Music was great. Food very good, but pricy. Service was excellent. Deserts only average.
The service and food was
Excellent. We always enjoy going to this wonderful place.
The best fine cuisine in the Grand Strand. The waitstaff are attenuative without being bothersome and smothering. The ambience is beautiful, with very well manicured yards surrounding a stunning old Victorian-style home. You can dress casually and still feel welcome. They update their menus ever so often, but you can always find your favorite French dishes.
We had a nice meal with friends to celebrate birthdays. Overall, it was a satisfying experience. It was a bit noisy but as people left we were able to talk at a reasonable volume. Salmon Neptune was yummy albeit a bit salty. We’ll go again for sure.
Everything was wonderful from the moment we stepped in.
