   Restaurant Review: The Brentwood – Little River, SC ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a truly exceptional dining experience at The Brentwood last night. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive, and the food exceeded all expectations. It had been a while since our last visit, but this meal was even better than I remembered. We started with the escargot, which is hands-down my favorite in town—rich, buttery, and served with incredible bread that’s perfect for soaking up every last drop. The oysters Rockefeller were generously portioned, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. The highlight of the evening, though, was the seared herb-encrusted wahoo—a rare and delightful surprise. This fish is incredibly hard to find and one I’ve only seen on a local menu twice in the past 20 years. The preparation was flawless, served with rice and carrots/string beans, and it truly was a standout dish. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and added to the overall fantastic experience. Wine suggestion was excellent.Everything about the evening was perfect. The Brentwood continues to be a gem in the Grand Strand dining scene, and I highly recommend it to both locals and visitors. We’ll definitely be back—and soon!

   Wonderful atmosphere upstairs to enjoy Happy hour and a delicious meal. The bar and dining area has no televisions or loud blaring music. Perfect for conversation. It is small and cozy with cork walls and interesting decor. The staff is friendly and efficient. Food is outstanding!

   We enjoyed our dinner very much. Food was very well prepared. We waiting a bit longer on the food than expected, but was well worth the wait. The waiters were great, attentive but not over barren. The she crap soup was amazing, as was the mashed potatoes. The NY strip was very good, and the filet and shrimp very the best. Highly recommend this restaurant.

   The food is just wonderful , from the escargot and onion soup to shrimp, scallops, and the sea bass. Key lime pie was refreshing. Will go back soon, thank you.

   We have dinner here every time in the area and always great service and food, with interesting specials, which are delicious as well. Toni waited on us this time, very informative on the meals and prompt attention. Hopefully make it back one more time before we leave!

   The service was impeccable. I can't thank the restaurant and it's staff enough. My only complaints were with the food and because they kept mentioning the kitchen was backed up I didn't want to say anything. I ordered the Beef Wellington medium rare but it was closer to well/medium well. The mashed potatoes were really bland. When comparing portion sizes my wife's beef tips had maybe four pieces of steak. But the appetizer we had and our soup were both amazing.

   Was recommended to us as a place to celebrate our anniversary. Nothing ever asked/mentioned on what we were celebrating. Not sure why it was asked when making my reservation. Unfortunately was very disappointing with very slow and poor service. - She Crab soup was overly salty (I don’t complain about salt) - items came out in the wrong order - waited nearly an hour for our main entree’s to be served - sat with an empty drink glass for over half of our 2+ hours of being there - called the restaurant afterwards to speak with a manger / told there was not one on duty that evening (Saturday 4/26) - At that time was told they were down a chef, due to one being out due to his wife having a baby. - requested a call back from a manager, which I still have not received (Tuesday) Just moved to the area and will have to find a different place for celebrations

   We thought the food could have been better. The salad was great and so was the desert but the main course meats could have been a lot better.
