   I’ve been to Brenner’s plenty of times, but I haven’t been there in over 7years. I went back last night for an anniversary dinner and sent them a message in advance to request if they can do anything special in advance. Our waitress was great. Everything else was awful. 1. The food was heavy, salty, oily. You felt like you ate 30lbs when you left. 2. We arrived when it was raining. There were two valet attendants in the valet outhouse in front. One was sitting and watching the NBA playoffs. The other came to open my fiancés door and then to me. No umbrellas or anyone escorting her to the front door. So we walked and got soaked walking into the restaurant. Lazy valet attendants could have taken an umbrella to walk her to the door. They weren’t busy. It was a Monday. 3. They decided for our anniversary to seat us at a two person round table at a stair landing in the middle of the main entrance stairs. So we can waive to everyone leaving and greet everyone coming. We asked to change our table then the sat us at a table on the Lower level by the other winding stair case. The two ac vents were pointed right at us so. You could feel us getting sick. We asked four or five times if they can do anything, and they kept saying we will tell the managers. Nothing happened. We asked to move tables after an hour into service. 3. When we left, a similar issue with the valet guys. It was raining, they charge $6 at valet, I gave them a $10. Usually valet attendants offer you your change back but these guys just took the $10 and said nothing. There were four guys before me, all go their cars. I was still waiting in the rain. Another group came after me (mind you I was waiting 5min at this time) and they all started getting their cars before me. So I just asked to get my keys and I’ll bring my car around. The valet attendant watching the game just gave me my keys and asked how I will be paying, which annoyed me more because I already paid and have been waiting so long.

   One of the best steak dinners I have ever had. Top notch staff, ambiance, and options. I regret not living in this city, because I won’t be able to return here as frequently as I’d like.

   Sent back to the kitchen 3 items we ordered. Waitstaff not super polished or prompt. Overall very disappointing.

   It’s one of those last minute decision to have family of 4 lunch after church. We haven’t been in this location so we thought of giving it a try. We ordered filet minon, iberico, red snapper and seafood risotto. All of them were savory. We had the souffle, was done right and bread pudding, sweetness was just right. Will come back again to try their dinner menu. Ambience was spot on.

   I was a little disappointed because I inform that it was a birthday celebration and they didn't bring us a candle or a dessert with a message as a courtesy.
