The best ever, highly recommend.
Brenner's on The Bayou is an amazing establishment.
Due CV-19 we are only doing patio seating. Ambiance was very nice and food was good. Great place to enjoy a mimosa!
Food was great, took a bit to get first glass of wine but other then that I enjoyed the ambiance
The food was top notch. Priced at fine dining levels but lived up to the level of food quality.
Noise was a busy restaurant level.
The views and ambiance was amazing, my only critique was we were seated below an AC vent which made it freezing cold and I’m not one to get cold quickly.
Service was extremely professional and I find this restaurant lived up to its rating.
Definitely a great dining experience during this virus and this crappy year.
Our Anniversary dinner was great. The food and the waitress was awesome.
The music can sometimes be a.i kitts that you cannot hear the others away your table speak. The food is to die for so our more than makes up for the noise.
A beautiful restaurant in an idyllic setting. The weather was bad so we opted to eat indoors. Even so, the view was spectacular! From the moment we pulled up to the complimentary valet, we were surrounded by nature and beauty. Nothing was overlooked, nothing left to chance; just gorgeous.
Romantic to the extreme! Linen on the tables, quiet and easy to have conversation.
Our only quibble was that the lighting was too low. What a problem!?!?!?
The service was impeccable; our waiter was knowledgeable and engaging, friendly but not familiar. "Cool beans..."
The food was perfectly prepared and elegantly presented.
The star of the show was dessert so save room for dessert and opt for the brownie anything.
I give Brenner's Steakhouse on the Bayou my highest recommendation. We will definitely be back.
The food was delicious!
It was amazing!
I really enjoyed my experience but the food was not that great. I had the snapper and scallops which was yummy but the scallops (recommended by waiter) were too salty. I can tolerate salty foods, and I am not salt sensitive. They were gracious enough to swap it with the macaroni which was watery. I booked maily for the view of the bayou and we ended up in a corner without much of a view.
As always we had a great experience at Brenner’s on the Bayou. Each of us really enjoyed our meal and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back.
Overall my wife and I were very pleased. This was our first time here as we celebrated our anniversary.
Beautiful setting and excellent cuisine. Very pleasant server though service rather slow. However, do recommend it.
Great dinner during COVID.
Enjoyed Restaurant Week! Great service, food was excellent!
Excellent from start to finish. My server was the best. I chose a dish that she recommended and it was delicious.
I am certain this is one of the top-5 restaurants in the Houston area, with an exceptional location.
Enjoyed our Anniversary and the food was great! Will be going back.
We enjoyed the drinks and appetizers at the bar while waiting on our reservation, which started on time, but we arrived early. Very good food and drinks..... Seafood platter with shrimp cocktail, cold water lobster tails and oysters, spicy margarita and old fashioned. The service at the bar was sub par and got worse when we were seated.
The bartender cleaned the glasses and dishes from the bar After we sat down, but did not wipe the counter with any dissenfectant cleaner, during the COVID-19 pandemic. And didn’t give us napkins/silverware until after our appetizers were served.
Once our reservation began and we were seated, we wanted to continue with another round of drinks from The bar, the second old fashioned was subpar and missing the garnishes. But the 2nd spicy margarita was great, but the 3rd spicy margarita was served without lime juice. And the waiters service was slow.
We dined on the Bone in Ribeye, Lobster MAC and Cheese, brussel sprouts and cornbread dressing (very sweet). Everything was just okay, but we did really like the brussel sprouts. For dessert we tried the cinnamon cheesecake, which was great!
If we come back, we will try the more casual Blue Bar for drinks and appetizers only.
We have dined here a few times over the years, but after our recent visit we do not plan to return. The food was subpar at best. The fried green tomatoes were strangely paired with cold lettuce and chilled shrimp topping. The salads were flavorless. We tried a fish and steak entree, both of which underwhelmed. Even the bread pudding dessert was meh. We did not finish any of our courses. Service was rushed and mistimed. Appetizer delivered before cocktails. Salads out quickly after cocktails delivered. Within 35 min of being seated our third course was on the table. Ambiance is nice, but not worth the $$$ given the food quality and service.
Beautiful landscaping and friendly staff, but the food was not as expected. Main entree very bland and sides overly salted. Not worth the price.
We celebrated our little girl's bday. It was good overall but the waitstaff should have done the candle over the dessert. We ordered from the regular menu with desserts and all. We didn't expect a comp. dessert but a candle would be nice. That was the only oversight.
We went for a farewell dinner, we decided to sit outside on the patio because the weather was nice for a Houston evening. We were handed menus and not greeted, our waitress was more busy with the rockets and texans games going on together. We had bad service, the first filet mignon we order to be medium rare and it came well done and it didn’t even taste like filet mignon. We asked her to redo it and they got it okay the second time. We didn’t see our waiter a
Great outdoor atmosphere. Service was prompt and attentive.
Service was impeccable. Food was delicious.
It was my first time here and I would definitely go back. Thank you for your excellent service.
The dinner was excellent! However, my one friend had been looking forward to ordering souffle for dessert all week. It was HORRIBLE! There were 5 of us and we each took a small bite and spit it out. We told the waiter, but he just said that's how they make them and walked off.
The food was great and the service was better, this was our first time at Brenner's, and we will be back.
Celebrated our Girls 15th birthday with a group of friends. I was expecting more enthusiasm and being helped planning such a special occasion, a bit more than just "your table has been reserved"... at least on the day the server made the group feel a bit more special.
Restaurant was packed as if we were not fighting a pandemic disease in Houston.
Food was good
Love the patio and the vibes outside. Brunch was a good value and tasty.
Great food and service
Everything was AMAZING!! One of my favorite places. Absolutely fabulous!
It was obvious the hostess was deciding what table to save for others. I asked for a nice view and ended up against the wall. But I do love this place. If you’re not near a window or outside sometimes it’s not worth it. I wanted to treat my son.
Service was great. Mahi Mahi fish was dry and salty.
The service was fantastic and the patio was perfect for an after work, cool experience.
I’ve been going to Brenner’s for as long as I can remember! I brought my boyfriend here for the first time and he LOVED it. I anticipate he’ll be wanting to come back very soon!
The waiter was outstanding and the food simply amazing. One of our favorite restaurants in Houston.
Great place for professional dinner.
