Great place to eat a good stake ! Definitely recommend it!
Great place food and service were fantastic i couldn’t have asked for more. Of it wasn’t so cold i would have loved to show the back and it is something to see
My New York Strip was superb--crusty brown on the outside and juicy reddish on the inside. My husband's shrimp scampi was so-so. I do it better. The appetizers--roasted oysters for me and crab cake for him--were okay but just okay. The broccolini side was excellent. The German potatoes were a real disappointment. Grease on grease on grease. Our cocktails were excellent. I especially liked my Manhattan.
Always great food, atmosphere and service! We are always greeted by name and we love this neighborhood restaurant!
Excellent food, delicious drinks, beautiful restaurant and the outdoor walk path is gorgeous!
Great place for family gathering with a excellent menu and great wine selection.
Really loved the ambiance and the food was pretty good! The mimosas with a shot of Grand Marnier was amazing! Definitely going back soon!
Brenners on the Bayou isn’t what it used to be. Over the past 2-3 years we’ve seen a decline in the level of service at this now-overpriced restaurant. We came for dinner in November 2020 and waited over 45 min for a waiter to even approach us. Even after the waiter finally came to our table, they never brought us bread so I finally asked if they stopped serving it because of Covid. The waiter apologized profusely, ran off and quickly brought us some bread. But the service the rest of the night was horrible. We thought this might have been due to Covid so we decided to give it one more shot a year later. We were disappointed again. Waited almost 20 minutes for anyone to approach us at our table and then we weren’t even greeted. The waiter handed us menus and immediately left us for another table. The food was good, but the whole experience was not worth the $300 we shelled out. If I’m paying for fine dining, I expect fine dining.
Celebrated my fiancé’s birthday and her first time experiencing Brenners. We had reservations but quickly did not like the table seating in a private room, but the host allowed us to wait on a table downstairs while we enjoyed the outside blue bar. The staff was very attentive and the food was perfect as expected.
The service was excellent.
The sea bass was prepared perfectly.
The steak tenderloin was chewy and over cooked. Baked potato was under baked.
Manager comped the steak and potato and offered another entree and dessert.
I would not recommend the the steak filet as it is not a prime cut. At $47 should be prime.
Birthday. It was great. And we had plenty of photo options
Absolutely amazing night! The service was wonderful and the food was outstanding.
Booked a room that was not setup up correctly. When presented to the manager he was very rude about the fact that our guest had to stand up while the staff had to rearrange the room. He offers no apology until prompted by me and fiancé.
In the end he made it right, but not after being prompted.
Food was amazing defiantly matches the price. Staff members are welcoming and the waiters are on top of their game
Wonderful waitress who was only a couple weeks from her due date. Blue bar outside in the nice weather was a great happy hour as well.
My skirt steak needed a better crust/char and was a little underdone but seasoned well. Potatoes were excellent.
Wife loved her filet and broccoli
Ambiance was great, but there was a lot of background noise and I was completely surprised that the filet mignon was tough to cut. It had great flavor but it was not tender at all. Otherwise, service as good and did not have to wait long for the food.
This was a really nice upscale restaurant. I went here yesterday for my birthday and loved it. The scenery is very nice and intimate with low lighting. Our server was very sweet and the food was good. Valet was also very professional and friendly. I would definitely come back on another special occasion, because it is pricey. Well worth the money though for the whole experience.
Had a great date at Brenners! Great service and the food was AMAZING. I loved the location and the ambience was really nice, only complaint was the lights were down very low and it was a candlelit dinner which is overall nice but hard to see the menu you have some vision issues because it was darker at night (had 7 PM reservation)
I am sure all of the dishes there are good. What you order should be what you like. I had the lamb chops. Very good, if you like lamb. I have had slightly better, but these are good and I would recommend them. Had quail bites and crab cake for appetizer. Also very good-- would order them again. But I have had better crab cakes at Pappadeaux and Papadeaux gives you two instead of one for about the same price. We have been to Brenner's before and will go again some time, but not our favorite place.
We came here for our 7th wedding anniversary. It was everything that we hoped that it would be and more.
Steak was chewy, macaroni was good, but not worth the price in opinion.
Great food, great staff!!
Good food, large portion sizes for the entrees. Good service, brought out a free dessert for my birthday!
Went for our anniversary, and when we first arrived it looked very small in the front but when you go to the back it opens up. Many tables in very uncomfortable spots,m. We had a table right in the middle of the walk way, that hall way is the only entire to the very back (the only private area in the whole restaurant). We had waiters and servers and patrons constantly keep walking by when we are trying to enjoy our dinner, also walking by was the dirty tables, dishes and table covers and etc, every time they walked by you get a bug whiff of all those combined smells, smelled terrible. We had a candle on the table and it kept going out due to the amount of people walking by our table and the other protons opening the door to the cold 51 degree outside … there was also a private party going on outside and all the teenagers were in the main dining room making a lot of noise making very uncomfortable for my wife and I to have a conversation, not including the other factors that came into play mentioned above. The desert was very good, service very good but the food was sub par, I order a ny strip and it tasted like dead meat, absolutely no seasoning or anything. My wife orders the filet and she mentioned the same thing, her words were “taste like meat no flavor” if anything this was our last time here. We recommend Perry’s, steak 48 or mastros ! Last time at this establishment.
Our meal was fantastic. Our server was excellent. The ladies' room was out of toliet paper and hand towels. The men's room was also out of hand towels. The valet service is lacking. We were told that we would be sent a text for parking. It would have been much more convenient to pay cash for parking rather than have to login and manually enter a credit card for the $4. Tacky! After all that effort, we still had a long wait for our car to be brought around.
Celebrated my wife's birthday. Food and service was excellent.
Front desk was borderline rude. Had reservations but seated us upstairs. My meat was tough and very poor. Waiter forgot to put our soufflé order in. The valet parked my 145,000 car in a remote lot somewhere. Wont be coming back.
Great Vibes, Great Service by Mandy and the food was delicious.
Food was amazing, from beginning to end! Megan was our server & she was amazing as well. She gave a great menu tour. We visited from Atlanta and are coming back just for Brenners and Megan’s amazing service !
Excellent service and the food was amazing as always.
Went for my Wife's birthday and it was a wonderful experience!
Food was amazing and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Will be coming back to try other items on the menu
Crap cake was delicious
wife had duck and she
I had Steak and Lobster
We both loved the dishes.
Had perfect food on the patio yesterday for brunch. The food is always amazing with the best flavors. Unfortunately, yesterday the drinks were not on par. Some bartenders are better than others but of 3 drinks, 1 was good, 1 wasn't, and 1 got sent back. Not good % for an upscale place where we've never had an issue with food or drinks. It won't prevent us from returning or recommending but disappointing for a Sunday funday.
Always lovely. It’s one of our favorite restaurants and it never disappoints!!
Very good I loved 🥰
In my Boudreaux red wine, had some grainy stuff in it. Did not appreciate that when definitely the kind of money I spend.
The appetizers and entrees were on point. We started with drinks at the bar and they did not disappoint. If I did have a complaint and I don’t, the table we had was a little on the small side.
Was asked several times if I had a reservation, was treated as if I didn’t belong there. Server was great hostess was stuck up, food was ok, not really impressed food vs price
Was ok, probably will not be back.
