I want to start by since moving to Houston in 2013 this has been one of our favorite restaurants in the city. The food and service has always been spot on and the setting is so romantic. This is where we signed up for Landry's Select because we loved the place so much! Unfortunately, Hurricane Harvey did some damage to this beautiful restaurant but they recently reopened and we were so excited so we had brunch there on Sunday, December 10. Started off good with the service, we ordered a bloody mary, mimosas, pimento cheese and for our meals, crab cake and an omelette. Everything was going well until they served my crab cake almost 15 minutes before my husbands omelette. The food delivery man did not comment on where his meal was when he brought mine. After about 5 minutes and the manager noticing I had food but my husband did not, he came over to check on us. Then he came back to apologize that their system messed up and his order was dropped off the ticket. So after 10 more minutes, I have finished my meal, my husband gets his omelette. The waitress apologized but the manager never came back, no offer to take his meal off the bill or take care of the entire bill. We were both very disappointed in how the issue was handled.
