   Went in for a quick bite this friday evening. Waited for 40 min in Una takeaway after being on a guest list for the entire time. Finally got up to check the list as many people were leaving. Turns out they sat a table for 2 twice because they conveniently got there instead of referring to the list. Once we sat down the server was dismissive of our presence and was short with us even though her section wasn't full. We drank our first drinks which were good, but server never came back until we asked for our bills and she offered a refill of water. Got the lasagna and it was stupid salty which is saying something as I never NOT finish my meal. SUPER DISAPPOINTING as I've followed on Instagram for awhile and wanted to check out. Would recommend if you want good food with mediocre service........

   Best carbonara hands down! Andrew who was my server was exceptional. Also tried the parsnip ricotta custard canoli, such a unique dessert! Can’t wait to be back already.

   We very rarely complain about a dining experience and are quite go with the flow kind of people - after all, food should be enjoyed with a great attitude! Unfortunately our experience at Bread & Circus was very disappointing, enough so to warrant a rare negative review. Our food took over an hour to come out (and this was at 9pm with a predominately empty restaurant). Our server apologized repeatedly, but by this point it had already impacted our evening. Even more disappointing was the wine service. Our half-litre of wine had clearly been open for a few days and had lost all of its acidity and brightness. It was way too warm and we left most of it untouched (a first for us!). I want to give them another try because I’m sure they can do better - but frankly our experience was really awful!!

   The restaurant was very cozy and fun, except it was way to hot. Winter might be a perfect time!? The garlic bread was lacking garlic flavour. Server wasn’t informed by the kitchen that they ran out of a major part of the dish. However, the food was really good and the cocktails were amazing.

   Delicious different menu items. Very accomodating for vegetarian diners. Excellent value desserts. Server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Will go back for sure Music was too loud for quiet conversation though.

   We were recommended this place by a server at another restaurant and we were quite excited to finally have an amazing pasta spot in Calgary. Surprisingly, the restaurant's service was spot on. They made sure we were seated right away and even did something special for us and we were ready for an excellent meal but that's where it stopped. The food was blah, the drinks were mediocre and the flare of homemade pasta was gone. We did have a celebrity sighting at the restaurant but it still didn't win our hearts. We are still looking for our favourite pasta place in Calgary.

   Highly recommend sitting at the bar. Chef Max is insanely passionate about his career. Not only did he speak about the restaurants charm but his love for every dish created by the head chef and himself. We cannot wait to return to try the oxtail tortellini! Thank you for the great dining experience.

    Went to Bread and Circus for an anniversary dinner. The food was delicious and inventive. The presentation was creative. The service was perfect. Looking forward to going back soon.
