The pork chop was overcooked beyond recognition. Dry as pulled pork and not hot. Sea bass ok. Rice not prepared well. Steak prepared well and tasty. Would not recommend

Enjoyed a great meal at Brazos-Proper Texas Kitchen before the George Strait concert. They were busy! Staff handled it well. Food was tasty and special drinks created for concert. Great atmosphere!!

Service was horrible. Waiters and bartenders were understaffed. We ordered drinks when we sat down and didn’t get them until we were done eating. Half the tables were empty, but yet there was a line out the door of people who had reservations. They didn’t have enough menus - again with half the tables empty. Buffet kept running out of plates. Very expensive meal for such awful service.

Service and all was great but the kitchen was super slow. We were the only folks in there and first in the restaurant and other later tables got their food before us. We only ordered burgers and one plate of ribs. Otherwise nice place but definitely a hotel restaurant.

Awful service for brunch. It was 10:30 am and a lot of the buffet food was cold. The only item I thought was delicious were the biscuits. We only ate the buffet food because no one came to wait on us to place an order. We had to ask someone else to at least bring us water. Milk and orange juice took about 20 mins to arrive to our table. Then it took another 10 minutes to get our check at the end of the meal.

We did not have a great experience graduation weekend for a 7am breakfast. If you are in a hurry choose the buffet.

Nice decor, friendly and attentive waitstaff. Food subpar for the price. Buffet chicken and pork chops dry and overcooked. Brownies flavorless and dry. Mac n cheese bland. Vegetables overcooked. Salad bar was good.

From the restaurant to the adjacent coffee shop, food was awful!!! First, DO NOT RUN OUT OF EGGS AT A SUNDAY BRUNCH BUFFET!!! This is not hard. Eggs are cheap. DO NOT RUN OUT OF MILK AT A COFFEE SHOP!!!! These are unforgivable mistakes when it was very busy and the food (what there was of it) was so sub-par. Seriously, don’t waist your time or money. No stars. Two thumbs down.

Our experience was certainly disappointing. We had an early reservation (5:30pm) in order to get to an event at 7pm. They had no menus for us when we arrived. We eventually got one and then two more but never enough for our whole party. It was strange and no one could explain why they had no menus when there were only 4-5 tables taken at 5:30pm for dinner. The bar was very slow getting our drinks to us and we only ordered wine. We ordered one appetizer and one salad to come out before our meal and it took quite a long time to receive these. When we placed our dinner order, we were told they were out of two major entree items. This would have been important to know when we arrived. But how in the world could they be out of these items at 6pm in the evening??? One of the guests in our party requested a gluten-free bun for the burger. He received a regular bun. When they took his burger back to replace the bun, it took a crazy long time (the rest of us were nearly done with dinner when his food arrived and that was only after flagging down a manager). And once received, the center of the bun was cold. What should have been a nice, smooth dinner with our college students on Parents Weekend turned out to be a long, drawn out disappointment. Lots of room for improvement with this restaurant. (PS Our young waiter was very nice and doing his best but it appeared the management (and possibly kitchen staff) did not set him up for success.)
