First visit to Brave and it was wonderful! We booked a reservation, arrived and were seated promptly. Service was speedy and helpful and attentive. The bread delivered pre-meal was crusty on the outside, soft and delicious on the inside, and warm. It was a great way to start the experience. We ordered the mixed grill (with a side of scallops) and chicken risotto. The mixed grill was delicious, and the sides were exceptional. All of them had a great flavor and were well prepared. The chicken risotto was delicious too. The portions were large so we had more than we could eat. We didn't really have room for dessert, but the Chocolate Creme Brule was too tempting to pass up, so we split one. The overall experience was awesome, service was great from start to finish.

My gal pals and I had our early holiday dinner on November 30. We always enjoy dinning at Brave but this was a special night for the 5 of us. In the past all of us have raved about the Brave scallops and there was no exception last night. 4 out of the 5 of us ordered the scallops. We love Peter and his staff!

Excellent new entrees. The tomahawk pork with jalapeño corn mashed potatoes was wonderful. The new special veal was also quite good. The Brie cheese appetizer was mediocre. It lacked flavor and was cold.

We had a group of six on a Saturday night, and everything was perfect! Everyone loved their meals - the scallops appetizer was to die for (and the bread - ooh la la!). Our group had stuffed chicken, mixed grill, salmon, oysters, veal - everything great. The restaurant also has a good wine list. Our server (unfortunately, I can't remember his name) was the best - very attentive (but not overly so). We will be back, again and again.

Overall I was very pleased with my experience on Brave, The food was good but I felt it was a little pricey for what it was. With the amount I paid it was more like I was paying for the experience and scenery rather than the food.

One of our favorite restaurants on Central Arkansas. This trip was good but not the usual Great. I had the beef filet which was acutally done to perfection. It was very tender and tasty, but the tomato side they had was one of the worst things I have had. My wife had the duck and liked the breast but did not care for the sausage at all. My son had the mixed grill and quite enjoyed it. This is the first time we have had anything other than an outstanding meal. As usual the service and ambiance were great.

This restaurant always provides a wonderful dining experience. The food is great and the service is exceptional. We missed the walleye that is truly exceptional as they were out of it, but the grouper was very good. We will definitely be back!

We were in town as tourists and found this restaurant with a google search. Beautiful evening for November in Little Rock. We sat on the patio overlooking the Arkansas River. The service was great and the food delicious. We started with crab cake appetizer. I had a new menu item: chicken breast with mushroom risotto and my husband had a fillet of beef. The wine menu was adequate and I had a cocktail that was ample and very good. The chocolate crème brûlée was tasty too. The prices seemed a little high but the entree included sides and a green salad, The service was professional and friendly. Delightful evening all around. I would return for sure.

Had a wonderful meal. Sat on the deck. Under the heat lamp around 68° outside. Peaceful. Had an heirloom salad. Mixed with fried green tomatoes. Pretty amazing. Subsequent short rib expertly prepared. My wife have beef tenderloin expertly prepared “it was delicious“. Delicious soup, pumpkin and crab. And some kind of spice. Surprisingly delicious. Even on an easy Monday and brave is still bringing it.

Brave New does NOT disappoint! From the moment we walked in and received a courteous and personal greeting, the atmosphere and service were excellent. Our waitress, Jennifer, was prompt, soft spoken, attentive, and helpful throughout our meal. She never hovered, but she was observant and right there to take care of beverage refills, clearing the table, etc. Our food was exquisite and beautifully plated. A decision to choose Brave New will be a delicious meal experience to remember!!

We were seated within 2 minutes of our checkin four reservation. Our waiter was very attentive without hovering. The menu provided many different choices. Our waiter provided great descriptions of food choices. The food was delicious and well presented. Would definitely recommend it.

First time at PeterBrave restaurant but must say the appetizers and entrees were wonderfully great (although the broccoli on my wife’s fod was waaay overdone). The wine and my cocktail were perfect, the table on the patio overlooking the views was perfect. The thing we loved too was the service. Our waiter, Rob, was excellent, personable and helpful…providing suggestions for the “first-timers”. Will hope to get him next time we visit! Was also good to meet Peter Brave, a good positive for a popular, well-known and expensive restaurant.

I have been looking to try Brave New Restaurant for quite some time. We had reservations, when we arrived they sat us next to the wall where only one person at the table could see the river when there multiple open tables with great views of the river, which remained open during our entire dinner. This combined with the bar was out of Tito’s, they were out of bread until right before our entrees were ready, and our server seemed unfamiliar with the menu left a poor first impression. When we asked for recommendations, our server basically listed everything on the menu without any additional description of the entrees or why he would recommend them. In addition, the table behind us seemed to attract all of his attention, leaving us feeling neglected. My wife ordered the tuna and I had the filet. To the chefs credit, our main courses were fantastic. My steak was cooked to perfection (medium-rare). Although our food was delicious, the service is what will make it unlikely that we will return. There are other restaurants with just as good food, but with better service. If we were able to enjoy the view of the river during our meal, it could have improved our experience.

Absolutely amazing dining experience! We were 4 and all of us had something different and it was delicious. The walleye, Chilean sea bass and rib eye were perfectly done. The house salad was unique, complex flavors and delicious. Only one complaint: my carrots were very hard and couldn’t be cut with a fork. Homemade IceCream? Yum!
