What a gem. Service was terrific, Peter Brave was walking around, introducing himself and making sure client were happy. I’m from Boston, so didn’t order the scallops since I can get them anytime. Peter explained that he sources scallops that have NO chemical process done on them and I’d be able to taste and feel a difference in the texture. When my Walleye entree (which was delicious) came, he made sure a scallop was on the plate for me to try! And he wasn’t wrong- best scallop I ever tasted!

This restaurant was amazing! We sat outside and watched the wildlife (hummingbirds, bald eagle, cranes, geese). Service was impeccable and I am still dreaming about the heirloom tomato dish I had! Will definitely come back!

Brave New Restaurant never disappoints. Highly recommend. I only wish the outside seating accommodated more people because the view of the Arkansas River is lovely.

Brave New is always the best. Walleye is back and it was perfection. Great value for the quality of food and service. The special of the evening sounded great, but we cannot pass on fresh fish. We do not normally have dessert, but the special of the night was wonderful and you can never go wrong with the house made ice cream. Great evening out!

Always wonderful! The special of the night (short rib) is the best one in town, according to my husband who loves short ribs and tries them everywhere that has them. The soup special of apple, pumpkin with crumbled bacon was amazing! Can’t go wrong with the goat cheese mousse as a starter along with the oysters. Also, Theresa is always spectacular as our server - we love her! Finally, always a special treat to see Peter and Leo. 🥰

Excellent dining experience. The food,service and ambiance was top notch. Ordered the shrimp/avocado and heirloom tomato appetizers. Then moved on to the scallops and mixed grill entrees. Bring your appetite, portions are abundant. Sat outside overlooking the Arkansas River, watching the birds and hummingbirds feeding nearby. Owner very friendly and gregarious. Will highly recommend to our friends and will definitely be back.

It was rather fabulous. We had a table of 8 from our of town and were week pleased. Two notes: 1) the acoustics were great, we could all converse at a table of 8. 2) I noticed the faces of the other guests as they came and went and noticed that everyone seemed to be really glad to be there. Says a lot about a place!

We were warmly welcomed by staff and was given the option to dine inside or on the patio. We chose the patio since it was nice weather with a wonderful view. I had the catch of the day with was Fresh Walleye! I was excited as a fresh fish connoisseur! Our fabulous server recommend a wonderful bottle of Chardonnay that paired perfectly with my meal. We also selected the appetizer of the day which was Arkansas heirloom tomatoes with fresh mozzarella topped with a balsamic glaze. This exited out tastebuds for the meal we were about to experience. 5Stars overall and will return!

I requested a substitute for Brussels sprouts. The server wrote nothing down (there were 5 of us). We were on the patio as it was a beautiful evening and it was quite dark. The little table lamp did not provide much light. I speared what I thought was broccoli with my fork and ate it. It was a horrid Brussels sprout. I literally almost gagged.

I used to love Brave New and it was a go to place for a nice dinner out. however, the menu has changed, and I found the food choices to be heavy and expensive. Probably will not return as I prefer a more healthy and modern menu.

It was a girls night out, and we thoroughly enjoyed dining at Brave New Restaurant. The food was phenomenal as well as the service. Sitting on the outdoor patio was so relaxing as we watched the river and the beautiful bald eagle that kept circling the area. Highly recommend the avocado half with shrimp as an appetizer and the chicken with mushroom risotto as an entree. I have to admit that everything on the menu sounded wonderful. It was a hard decision, but I didn’t go wrong. Can’t wait to go back.

Dined outside on the deck and weather was perfect. My usual “go to” walleye was not available but substituted mahi instead. Tried the oysters Burnsville and they were excellent. The chocolate crème brûlée in my opinion is the best in Little Rock.

I had the Spinach and Fruit salad for lunch. I often order salads like this when I go out for lunch. My complaint is that the strawberries were not cut into smaller pieces and the pecans should have been chopped instead of a half pecan. Also, the blue cheese should have been crumbles instead of large chunks. Lastly, I had to ask for more dressing, as the dressing was just a drizzle and not enough to cover the spinach.

The weather was great for a change, so we sat outside. We & our guests had a wonderful time & got to see the beautiful Blue Moon! We all ordered the walleye & it was perfect as were the salads & dessert. We always enjoy Brave New, but this evening was beyond special!

Delicious dining experience. I’m from Little Rock but left in 1987 for school and then life. Proud that LR has this. Made reservations a week in advance with family and wish we could have been on River to show off home town.

Every time I come to Little Rock, Brave New Restaurant is my main default. You will never be disappointed. The staff is attentive but not intrusive, and the service is excellent. The food is simply nonpareil, and Chef Peter has been sourcing locally produced food since way before "buy local" became a thing. This time of year is the time to get the tomato platter with several locally grown heirloom varieties. Nightly specials are always a treat, but if you can't decide what to get, don't worry: It's all good.
