For gatherings of 10-14 guests, Hotel Cerro provides the option of a pre-fixe menu or ordering a la carte from the amazing Brasserie SLO menu. Reservations are required. For parties of 14-19 guests, you may select a pre-fixe menu from Brasserie SLO or a custom menu. Gatherings of 20 or more guests will be accommodated in one of the Hotel’s private events spaces: The Olive Terrace and Room, the Pool Deck or the Fig Patio. A Food and Beverage Minimum spend is required for all private events. Events hosted on the Pool Deck will utilize our melamine plate-ware and unbreakable glassware. No glass or china is permitted on the Pool Deck. We dined here for thanksgiving dinner. Server was friendly and we ordered a drink to enjoy before dinner. Since the menu was a traditional thanksgiving meal, we only had to choose between turkey or short rib entree. Server brought cold, dry rolls and almost immediately brought out our food. Mashed potatoes had been plated very early as they were dry. Green beans were cold and gravy gelatinous. Maybe a tablespoon of stuffing on plate. Same for cranberry sauce. All of the food was bland. Blueberry crisp came immediately after, and it was too sweet but probably best part of meal. We were finished and walking to our car within an hour of arriving. Not a great holiday experience. We have enjoyed eating here other times and assumed that the cooking would be something special for the day. At $60+ per person, it should have been. Very disappointed.

Everything was wonderful! Three of us had the eggs Benedict the fourth had the breakfast burrito. The food was excellent, came out quickly and the server was friendly and attentive. Definitely going back!

Totally overrated online. The restaurant was pretty empty so that was a clue right there. The pizza was so loaded with cheese a tomatoes that it didn't even cook and it had no flavor. Ditto for the butter lettuce salad -- no taste!! Skip this place!!!!

It didn't start out well - we were 5 minutes late for our 5:15 PM res and there was only 2 other people in the restaurant when we were informed by the 'host' that they were about to SCRATCH us from their list. We were seated, but the AC fan continued to blow and I never took my jacket off. The dinner it self was nice, not fantastic, but nice.

The food was nicely prepared, nicely plated and arrived at the table hot. The wait staff was pleasant. The restaurant wasn't noisy, but things weren't dead either. Conversation was easily heard across the table. We very much enjoyed our experience at Brasserie SLO. ElsaN

Subpar - shrimp ceviche had almost no shrimp, the butter leaf salad had very little taste, and the steak was just okay. The service wasn't attentive - server was nice though

For the past few times, I have gone to this restaurant they have been out of one dish or another. Their cocktail menu is not as good as it used to be and the quantity provided varies a lot across dishes.

Beautiful set up and ambiance. Though we had a reservation and the restaurant was almost empty, the hostess insisted to seat us at the very end next to the open kitchen. Probably because we are a family with kids (youngest is 10). Later we saw she sat one person at a 4-seat table next to a front window. The salmon was so good but tiny and laid in a pool of oil. Pizzas were just okay. Disappointing.

We had dinner for two to celebrate my wife's birthday. The place was beautiful and the service was excellent. We had the chicken and the scallops entrees--both were very good and the scallops were the best I've had. Give this place a try!

Menu has classic bistro food with extra flavor and flare. Impressive presentations and taste. Service was very friendly, helpful and efficient. We had beef bone marrow with beef tartare, shrimp cerviche, butter lettuce salad and a margarita pizza with a perfect Manhattan, beer and a nice Barolo. All exceeded expectations. Nice ambiance and neighborhood. Will return.

Took my wife for dinner to celebrate her birthday and our dining experience didn't disappoint! Delicious meals (she had scallops, I had salmon), outstanding Onx Rose, prompt and affable wait and front desk staff, made for a wonderful night out. Additionally, the interior is lovely, open, with street window views -great design!

A bit torn with respect to rating the food here. I had a delicious burger for lunch on Monday, July 3rd. Definitely a 4/5. My table also ordered the chicken sandwich and to be honest it was the worst tasting chicken sandwich i ever had in my life. It was unseasoned, the chicken itself was very dry and hard to chew, and the chicken tasted off. I’m disappointed I had to spend $19 on a sandwich I barely took a half a bite off. The service was good. Our waitress was new, but friendly beer selection was great. Not sure if I would come back again since I love chicken sandwiches and was caught off guard with how inedible it was here.

Great food, fresh ingredients, creative menu. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch and the croissant beignets were fabulous. They even gave us some rhubarb compote to take home. We'll definitely come back.

We had a pleasant brunch in the small outdoor area on the sidewalk with our pup. The interior of the restaurant is fresh and cheerful. The menu was bistro brunch, we enjoyed the blue corn and slab bacon chilaquiles and the croque monsieur. The small empanadas were quite nice. Our favorite was their fresh pressed juices, creative and tasty!

Wow. We were very impressed with our salmon and halibut dinners. This rivaled top notch restaurants anywhere. The vegetables that came with my halibut were worthy of a meal themselves. Carrot purée with fava beans and asparagus. I ate every bite. Both fishes were expertly cooked. The chef and staff should be very proud. Our server was impeccable also. Elevated dining in SLO.

Great place but small portions for the price. A cup of berries was $13. I was expecting a large portion of fruit. Yogurt and granola should come with the meal. Plus I had to pay extra for toast to go with my eggs and bacon. Food was great but portions are very small. Overpriced for breakfast.

Hotel Cerro’s Special Event Menus are designed to cater for gatherings of 20 or more guests. For gatherings of 10-14 guests, Hotel Cerro provides the option of a pre-fixe menu or ordering a la carte from the amazing Brasserie SLO menu. Reservations are required. For parties of 14-19 guests, you may select a pre-fixe menu from Brasserie SLO or a custom menu. Gatherings of 20 or more guests will be accommodated in one of the Hotel’s private events spaces: The Olive Terrace and Room, the Pool Deck or the Fig Patio. A Food and Beverage Minimum spend is required for all private events. Events hosted on the Pool Deck will utilize our melamine plate-ware and unbreakable glassware. No glass or china is permitted on the Pool Deck.
