   Wonderful. Higher end experience in terms of cuisine, ambience and service. The food is exceptional, and the staff friendly and attentive.

   Had a wonderful lunch with a friend today at Brasserie Saint Germain and it couldn’t have been nicer. The ambiance, service and food, all excellent. Extensive menu and excellent wines! Looking forward to next visit!

   We had a very special dinner celebration! It was ideal! Best duck I’ve ever eaten! My husband said it was the best lobster bisque he’d ever eaten. This was exceptional praise from him!!! We look forward to returning!

   By far the best restaurant I have been to in Fairfield county for the last 10 years. And so wonderfully French: the excellent food, the decorations and prints throughout the place,  the excellent French inspired music, they even played As Time Goes By, I felt like I was in France and at that moment in Morocco. The chef owner and his wife were very pleasant, the bartender from the York spoke French and was very well informed and a lot of fun. You’re not gonna find a French restaurant like this anywhere in Fairfield County you have to go to New York City for that, and this place would be right up on the top of the ratings competing with those French restaurants in New York. It would be great if Patricia Brooks from the New York Times went there and reviewed it. I would love to read her review.

   We have been here three times now and each time we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious and the service was spot on, attentive but not overbearing. Also noise level was not an issue, we had no problem hearing each other or the servers. I always recommend Saint Germain to friends. So happy to have such a lovely place in town.

    My two girlfriends and I had a lovely time at Brasserie St. Germaine. We ordered the moles frites (mariniere) as an appetizer and they were delicious. We had a nice bottle of Muscadet with our main course. My friends had the Normandy crepes and said they were good. I ordered the monkfish (a special that night that was recommended by our waiter). I thought it might have been overcooked as it was rubbery and chewy. I wish I had ordered the haddock instead. We had two desserts - profiteroles and the apple crepe, they were both delicious. The service was excellent. I would definitely dine there again but might stay away from the fish.
