Brasserie of Light
The centrepiece of the restaurant will be a 24ft crystal encrusted Pegasus statue created especially by Damien Hirst, his largest scale artwork in London. Martin Brudnizki consulted on the design, which features bold, colourful and light filled interiors, with an impressive central bar and private dining room. Diners will enter the double-height space via an exclusive entrance on Duke Street.
Brasserie of Light will serve an eclectic mix of classic British and internationally inspired dishes with an extensive all-day A La Carte menu featuring; breakfast, elevenses, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and weekend brunch alongside wine and cocktails.
From sunrise to late evening, Brasserie of Light will offer something for everyone.
Enjoyable evening in this extravaganza of windows and Christmas lights
The whole experience was wonderful - would definately visit there again
It was special treat from my best friend for my qualification. It was great venue. Great seats! And great food. Nothing to complained about
Fabulous as always
The staff were very friendly and helpful and very professional.
The food was amazing, tasty and hot.
I felt very safe there as there were partitions between the table.
The best for an ideal glamorous start to the day! Outstanding service that surfaced at all the right times, and with all safety measures in place. The dishes are crowd pleasers and the perfect portion size. Look forward to sampling more of the menu on my next visit!
Overall we had a good time but we felt that our meal was very rushed! Time allowed wasn’t enough for three courses.
Music was too loud, to the point we struggled to hear each other over the table.
I took my mum for the first time a s the staff made it so special by getting us a fabulous table- the food was delicious, hearty and great value for money. We go to a lot of lovely restaurants and are massive foodies and BOL did not disappoint! Thank you!
Overall a very nice experience, delicious food and nice atmosphere. The ladies from the staff seemed very rude and it felt like they looked down at us.. Also we had to wait for almost 30 mins even though we had a booking.
Lovely day but the waiters we rude and when paid they just handed the card receipt and walked off. Everything else great
Always great food. One of my favourite restaurants 🥰
I have been here a few times and I find that the restaurant is very consistent with outstanding service and high quality food. Dishes are presented to the standard of a fine dining restaurant and flavours always complement each other well. On this occasion I was with a friend for a meal but previously I have sat on my own at the bar and the staff are always very friendly and chatty. One of my favourite places in London for sure and great value!
Food very disappointing
Amazing as always
Took my daughter out for a Christmas shopping lunch, she loved everything out it!
V nice ambiance food v good but not excellent for the price
Lovely setting, easy to please menu. Disappointingly they didn't have any Rose Brut in and we were not offered an alternative. Food was fine.
Amazing!! Love this place xxx the staff are great and the ambience is special. Good for celebrating @
Nice atmosphere and food, however the staff need to be polite.
The service was very slow, we didn't find out till we got the there we only had the table for 1hour 30mins ,
as the service was slow we didn't have time foe desert .. we have been there on a few occasions and was a little disappointed this time as it was my Birthday
No service whatsoever, bartenders busy doing a stock take, hostesses with no compassion and waiters totally oblivious. Food and ambience is always great but the rest becomes unforgiving
Second time here and would highly recommend. Food is very good, its a step above other gastro pub fare and close to fine dining for the price. Portions are also decent and desserts are excellent - try the Orbit for a bit of everything on one plate. Don't bother with the cheese board though, only disappointment.
Atmosphere is lovely, bustling and cosy at the same time with a good view over Oxford Street and drinks are reasonable as well for the location. Definitely try it, much better than your normal department store restaurant.
Great food!!
Ate here before and the food was fab, unfortunately this time was a different experience. Overcooked food. Cold chips, cold broccoli. Rude and surly server. Wish we had dined elsewhere.
The service was absolutely shocking from the moment we arrived. It really let the place down.
It’s such a shame because I’ve previously visited this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed.
In terms of the food and value for money no complaints.
Just goes to show how important service is just ruined the whole experience.
We overall had a lovely experience. We over stayed our table time and we were moved to a new table that was free however we were quickly given our bill without asking for it which made us feel pushed out. We even explained before hand we would like to be moved to the bar but this wasn’t offered.
I took myself to lunch , dressed up and all.
I’ve never seen the nicest staff in my life, they recommended the most delicious cocktails I’ve ever tasted.
The food OMG was just delicious especially the black cod, truffle mash etc everything I ordered was worth every penny I spent.
I booked a table for 11:15pm arrived 10 minutes early at 11:15 We asked to give us our table they said your table is not ready yet even when I have booked a table few days ago for that time to have a breakfast with my family so waited for 15 min and at 11:30 they gave us a table and took 15min that someone to come and take our orders and they gave us lunch menu when I told the waiter that we are here to have breakfast he said oh we just served breakfast till 11:30 .I told him it was your fault not us because we arrived even early he said sorry I can’t do anything.I was so angry but didn’t want to ruin our day out I said ok.so by force we ordered from lunch menu. The food was good but the service was really crap.
Amazing as always
Once we arrived the male hostess was extremely rude, made us wait for a table and gave us a table in the back room which didn’t have as much ambience as the rest of the restaurant.
The food was good, lobster spaghetti lacked lobster but the chicken Milanese and chocolate orbit dessert were delicious. Cocktail was average and overly sweet. Overall it was a nice time but tainted by the initial rudeness of the male host.
Great ambiance. Would recommend breakfast menu and affordable price.
We waited for 10 minutes while our table was being prepared which was the only negative of the evening. We had the salted sourdough which was delicious and duck curry and aubergine which were 10/10! We will be back.
Family day out with lunch at the Brasserie of Light. Perfect! Staff were very accommodating & flexible to get food which excited my daughter who has a narrow set of food she likes.
Sons birthday
Was wonderful
Chicken Milanese wasn’t cooked so returned with a speedy replacement and much apologising
The food was as usual nice
The service was poor, with an unacceptable bad attitude from the waiter
Amazing, solid 9/10 restuarant. Great staff and aesthetics.
Lovely breakfast in a prefect setting. Staff lovely and friendly. Good value.
