Arrived early to have a drink at the Bar before going to our Table but could not get a seat because of people dining at the Bar so was shown to our Table 30 minutes Earlie. Looked at the Menu and decided what we wanted to eat. Ordered a Bottle of white wine to share with my friend but also a Glass of Red for myself because I was going to have a Steak. Waitress came back and said they did not have the Bottle of White Wine that we wanted and they also did not have the Red wine that I wanted. Ordered another Bottle of white wine and a different Red. That arrived with two White wine Glasses. I told the waitress I was having Red and needed a Balloon Glass. She came back and said that they did not have any. (None of this was the Waitresses fault). Starter turned up fine for both of us but main meals which arrived together had the Sauce that I had ordered with my Steak missing,. Had to wait until I caught the eye of a Waitress to get her too go and get me the sauce boat with my sauce in it. Found the music a bit loud and two Girls two Tables away even louder. The setting of the Brasserie of Light is very good for people who have never been there before but I think it is a Better Restaurant in the Day Time than of an Evening I feel. Was there on the 24/06/2025 in the afternoon and it had a much better Atmosphere to dine in. I believe it was the Manager who came to our table and brought me another glass of Red Wine for all the mistakes and inconveniences. Its the owners fault ( The Ivy owned by Caprice Holdings) for not having the correct glasses for the correct drinks. I will still go back when I am in Selfridges but only In the Day time.

A fantastic experience from the ambience of the restaurant to the fantastic service from the initial reception host to our wonderful server and all the other staff. The food was delicious and promptly served the drinks were chilled and the lager glass straight from the fridge to the right temperature. I could not fault anything at all and will definitely come for lunch again when visiting London. Overall a faultless experience.

Had a really lovely meal last night food & service was excellent couldn’t fault anything. Thanks to Adam who served us he was an absolute gent. Will definitely return. Also just realised we know the chef Sean it’s been quite a while since we last met in Carrick!!

Service is atrocious, it takes forever for any drink order to arrive. Food is ok at best.

We were really lucky to get in, as we were over 30 minutes late for our booking and they were turning away walk-ins. It was very busy, and the staff seemed a little thinly spread, but they were still really accommodating. Great choice of wine and champagne, and each course was very tasty — exceptional quality throughout.

Beautiful restaurant, food was great. Only bad thing is that doesn't accept Amex for payment. Apart from that everything was brilliant.
