   Hayley went over and above as our waitress and the food was fantastic… their croissants are amazing, the omelet was delish and even the potatoes were perfect. The quiche Lorraine was great… overall, couldn’t be better and will go back when in the area again

   It was to celebrate a birthday and we were treated like royalty. It is our new favorite French restaurant in Charleston. I do wish the lobster bisque was still on the menu like it was during restaurant week. Otherwise our meal was flawless, right down to the birthday card signed by the staff.

   We had two anniversary dinners here within a week. The first a desperate attempt to find a nice place late on a Friday night and the second scheduled as a farewell to Charleston before we headed back home. It's a rare downtown Charleston restaurant that doesnt have drunken bachelorette's or tables of 8 middle-aged upper middle class southerners in from Atlanta or Charlotte or Dallas. This seemed mostly local. Nice age range. Bar looked very welcoming and low-key. Oysters were delicious although smallish on 2nd trip. Cheese plate is the best we have encountered. The standard Green Salads are carefully and creatively composed and delicious. We shared the New York Strip which was perfectly cooked at medium rare, cut into strips and with what looked like a white pepper/tarragon rub. Outstanding! Great wines. Decaf cappuccino was elite. Service was professionally attentive both times without being overbearing. Hidden gem!

    This experience exceeded my expectations. I canceled a reservation at another restaurant as I figured Brasserie's menu was a better fit for my teenager. The food and wine were outstanding, but the best was our attentive and friendly server, Barrett. I wish I'd canceled our dinner reservation at a different restaurant the following night. Thank you so much!
