Brasserie la Banque is a neighborhood French restaurant situated in historic downtown Charleston, SC. Paying homage to traditional French cuisine in a lively and welcoming environment. Led by owner and industry veteran Steve Palmer of Indigo Road Hospitality Group, the restaurant is a culmination of Palmer’s work and his passion for the classic French brasserie and its cuisine. The menu, helmed by seasoned Charleston chef and French gastronome Jeb Aldrich, features a selection of traditional French dishes alongside more innovative fare. Aptly named for its previous role as a city bank, Brasserie la Banque is located within the iconic 1 Broad Street corner building that dates back to the 1700s. Slated to open early summer 2021, the neighborhood restaurant will offer lunch, dinner, and late-night service, seven days a week.

Dont miss! Food was delicious! The crepe cake was insane. Really cool interior and the staff was great. New favorite place on the peninsula. Felt like I spent time in France.

Wanted to check out this new restaurant. Ate at the bar and bartender Ian proveded great service and company. Two courses were perfect. There is talent in the kitchen. The bar downstairs is the only room available until they take care of air conditioning and hood issues in the main dining room. Hoping for early Sept. Go check it out and do what I did and make reservations for a later date as well when the dining room is open.
