Quiet and classy but not stuffy. Good food. Excellent service. Nice ambiance.
Our group of 4 enjoyed a fabulous meal and the service was outstanding. Thank you for accommodating our change in time.
Great way to celebrate the Rockets win over the Timberwolves! A short walk from the Toyota Center, we were warmly greeted and escorted to a lovely table near the rear of the room.
We started with Champs and escargot, both delicious. Followed by Confit du Canard with St Emillion and finished off with Nutella crepe with ice cream. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was conducive to comfort and chatting with your partner. We have dined at their sister establishment, Etoille, and find both exceptional. The Brasserie is a bit more laid back while Etoille is great for a bit less casual evening.
This was our first time dining at Brasserie du Parc. The service was very friendly and pretty attentive until the restaurant got really busy. Menu highlights were vegetable risotto and lava cake. Good selection of cocktails and mocktails.
This restaurant is incredible! I had been before many years ago, but was glad to revisit, and I can easily say it will be one of my new go-to spots. I went for brunch and found that for the quality of food and service the price just might be the best in town. Chef Tiago was amazing, and prepared some incredible dishes. I highly recommend this spot! The location and ambiance alone is absolutely wonderful.
Always enjoy coming here for a consistently great experience. Food is always good, as is service, especially if Salvador is available.
Great meal and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.
Waiter was amazing and food was fabulous. I highly recommend.
Service and food were wonderful!
We completely enjoyed our meal this evening. The fixed price menu had many choices and the prices were reasonable. The portions were generous. The service was excellent. The ambience was just right for a date night.
My husband said his onion soup was possibly some of the best onion soup he ever had.
I thoroughly enjoyed the foie gras, the presentation was as wonderful as the taste.
The location adds to the whole experience.
We were very disappointed after an excellent first dinner experience. For our brunch, the crepes were hardly warm even though we had requested for our food to be served whenever they were reedy.
As always...perfect evening and service!
Went for New Year’s Eve and had a great meal from their special occasion menu. Steak was large, well marbled, and perfectly cooked. Fish was fresh and delicious. The duck was well prepared in orange sauce. Great to have such a great French restaurant in Downtown Houston.
Go here often, and it's always perfect! We always try to get Salvador as server, and he always pleases.
Good and quick service. Very reasonable prices for dinner and tasty food.
Food was good. Prices were good. Service was good. It was all good! We got mushrooms, veggies, escargot, cheese plate, shrimp risotto, and sole.
We ate here before a Toyota Center performance. We had one hour and we were able to get in and out in that amount of time. We did not feel rushed. Service was great and the food was delicious. We were kind of surprised, because we have had pre show meals elsewhere that were just "so so". I definitely would return and would highly recommend.
First time visit, but best thing I can say is that I'm sure we will be back :)
Enjoyed the food and the service was great however I gave it 4 stars as we were basically the only ones there for most of our stay but by the time we were finishing main course the place was full, no dessert so difficult to tell.
Nice place and would have had several things off the menu :)
Food & service were outstanding, as usual.
We had a 6:00 reservation, we were seated as soon as we arrived. It took a while for our waiter to come 10-15 minutes. We told him that we going to the Cher concert at 7:30 and he suggested that we go ahead and order, so we ordered drinks and dinner. My friend ordered a glass of wine from the menu and the waiter said they did not have it, so she just asked for a Chardonnay. My husband and her husband ordered an Old Fashioned and I ordered a Manhattan. My husband's tuna tartare arrived before out drinks. When they finally arrived, my drink was good, the wine was not Chardonnay and the Old Fashioned tasted like it was made with scotch. The waiter said that the bartender used a creative recipe. We waited until 7:10 and our food had still not arrived so we left. Prior to that, the waiter said that some people did not show up for work so they were short handed and he apologized, but we saw that others that had come in after us had gotten their food. So we departed for the Cher concert with no dinner.
Cocktails were great and reasonably priced at happy hour. Service was painfully slow, kitchen was overwhelmed with many customers coming in at the same time. Main dining area is very noisy and too bright - we ate in the bar area. Food was OK. Will not return.
First time here. Came prior to attending a concert. Alloted one and a half hours to dine. The service was abismal. Constant mistakes made on the orders. The bread that is regularly served with escargots and mussles was guarded like gold. One slice of bread was served with each plate. After an hour and a half, had to cancel two orders cause one order came when we needed to leave and the other order never was served correctly. The incorrect order was a spinach salad, that included pears, nuts, squash, cheese but was served only with spinach and no trimmings.
great service in the bar area - food is prepared incredibly fast so make sure you pace your orders.
short ribs are awesome; the salmon was good but not great; escargot was good
Overall ok but i would not be excited about returning
We came here before a show at Toyota center. They were very busy, so service was expectedly slow. Our waitress was very nice and as attentive as she can be. Others helped out and we were able to get out in time to get to the venue and show. They charged an extra bottle of wine on the bill, but promptly took it off once we pointed it out. Overall not the first time we’ve been here - usu come for brunch - but def will be back.
Thank you for your review and the understanding of the busyness before a big Concert. We look forward to serving you again! Happy Holidays!
Great service and the food was amazing.
My son recommended this place to my girlfriends as a good place for happy hour before a concert. Is was perfect! Wait staff were beyond amazing!
Thank you for your wonderful review! I hope the rest of your evening was wonderful too! We appreciate your business! Happy Holidays!
Excellent dinner with colleagues on the last night of a conference. Good food, decent service, overall I recommend to anyone who wants a nice night out.
3rd time here. Went here for a business dinner. The server is from Lyon, France and we struck up an excellent conversation. Despite our random assortment of appetizers-as-entrees, he was incredibly professional and kind. Excellent evening.
Food and service were wonderful. Good wine and spirits list. Nice variations on Thanksgiving meal. The only thing is the seats were really uncomfortable. I had to put my purse at my back in order to feel comfortable.
The food at Brasserie du Parc is superb. The Croque monsieur was delicious as were the frites. Caesar salad and mussels were on point as well. Our wait staff was attentive and very friendly. The restaurant has a great vibe.
Wonderful experience. Had a great time overall. The food is amazing
Great brunch. Crepes, salad, soups and sandwiches were all outstanding.
Had the redfish (lunch fish of the day), which was fabulous. Service was a tad slow despite few patrons. Great ambience. Worth returning!
sat at the bar for the first time. great ambiance, very chill for solo dinning. good value and food.
Excellent intimate setting for a celebratory dinner.
We thought the food was great and the price resonable.
Lovely quick pre-opera meal. We were pressed for time, but our waiter moved things along so we made our show easily. Food was excellent, as usual.
The atmosphere is very cutesy and full of natural light and windows that look onto Discovery Green. The food was really good, but I wouldn’t order a salad again. It felt a bit simple/lackluster, but the tomato basil soup I had to accompany it was delicious. Their pasta + sandwiches are the way to go here based on my experience. Despite the “just okay,” salad, I would absolutely go back since the ambiance is lovely and the other dishes look really good!
The restaurant was about 1/2 full for a lunch at 1pm on a Friday. It was a good time to go!
