A bit disappointed for the escargot .not considering the price . The taste is disappointing but not bad … if you ve never tasted real escargot with butter , parsley and garlic , you won’t realize it could be a lot better. Service is fast . Steak frites is really good , the cut reminds me of the one served in “l’entrecôte” restaurant in France minus the sauce of course. Medium rare was awesome . Profiteroles were decent but chocolate sauce was cold (OMG sacrilege 😂)

A little touch of Paris, Toulon, Lyon and Marseille right here in the 314. Always a treat. Start with the gougeres, then Bibb salad, steak frites and finish with profiteroles. Table mates enjoyed the vegetable ragout, braised beef and chicken. We’ve been dining at Brasserie since they opened, probably 3-4 times a year. Never disappoints.

The food is consistently delicious and reminds us of our days roaming France. This visit was a birthday celebration for my wife. The restaurant and our waiter treated us very well to make sure it was a memorable occasion.

Everything was outstanding!! Great social atmosphere. Great food, great service, great time!!!! It was a birthday dinner, however prior to arriving we got a little bit of bad news regarding a family member, our dining experience at Brasserie made it ok!

Tried the Eggs en cocotte for the first time in a couple of years, and it was as delicious and self-indulgent as I recalled. The Floating Island dessert was heavenly! As always, the staff made me feel welcome and appreciated. Such a treat.

Just went to like, one of the “Best in St. Louis” on a lively date with my lovely wife, and the food was merely okay. The appetizer (cervelle de canut) was basically chips and dip. The salad was the highlight, fancy greens, gorgonzola, and shallot vinegrette. Dinner was a brined half roasted chicken with inspired butchering, the breast still had the drumette attached, on top of broth-soaked bread and shiitake mushrooms. The bacon grease overpowered all of it. The dish felt incomplete and rushed. Even the mixed drinks were overpowered with an overly generous lemon peel. My wife reported the Pot Roast wasn't as good as mine either. The bite I had was overdone. People deserve better food, and it doesn't have to be pretentious. I really couldn't believe it cost me $160 to eat MCL Cafeteria aux Francais.

The trout is one of my favorite dishes there, and my husband tried the burger and loved it and the fries. The On The Boulevard cocktail was the best cocktail I’ve had in a long time.

The food and service were on point. I had the duck leg with cherries, canbbage and bacon set up. Amazing flavor! Service was attentive but not overbearing. It was loud and lively.

Everything was perfection. The food was amazing, the service so wonderful, and while it felt bistro-y, we could still have a conversation without yelling. I'm already planning to bring my out-of-town friends for dinner next week!

In a time where you see less and less restaurants maintaining their standards, it seems niche has even improved theirs if that was possible. It is always been a lovely restaurant with excellent food and it remains thus. So great to be able to count on a great meal and a wonderful experience.

Our Bistro Steaks were prepared to the exact level of wellness we requested. The Ceasar salads and bread are incredible. We had an excellent moderately priced Pinot Noir to complement our meal and experience.

We won’t be coming back to this restaurant. The food and environment doesn’t make up for the political pro-abortion sign at the entrance to the restaurant. We don’t go out to dinner to be peppered with political signage. Right or left wing, keep it to yourselves. We’ll watch the news or go to a political rally if we want politics in our face.

Had to wait to be seated for 15 minutes, then service throughout the evening proceeded to be very slow. Food was average which for the price was way below expectation.

We had been really looking forward to a meal at Brasserie, and finally we decided to celebrate our special day here. Our order: Veggie Hash - just some grilled vegetables in lots of butter and topped with poached eggs. Nothing fancy there Quiche - this came with a side of some fresh salad leaves. This was good but again very heavy due to way too much butter Mimosa - there was something wrong with this one. Didn't like it! Floating island - this was the best part of the entire meal. They offered us a complimentary dessert on our special day, and this was something really unique and tasty. This is the only dish that we thoroughly enjoyed, and I would recommend trying here. Overall, the place wasn't worth the hype or the money! However, I do have to praise the service and staff!

This was one of the best meals that I've had in a long time anywhere, and certainly the best in St. Louis! The atmosphere is straight out of Paris, but with much better service :) We had the duck confit which was divine, and the trout which was also fantastic, and the french fries were out of this world. I will definitely come back and have about 10 other things on the menu that I cannot wait to try. It was truly fantastic and Jessica our server was one of the best that I have had anywhere in the world recent memory. Thank you for a wonderful meal, and cannot recommend more highly.
