Brasilia Churrasco Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
Not our first visit -- because our first visit was supremely enjoyable! Of course, one comes here for the meat -- extremely good quality meat, that is prepared expertly -- but, don't think only carnivores could appreciate the experience. The salad bar offers impressive non-meat, gluten-free options that any Foodie will enjoy.
We took our neighbors here for a special occasion. Our table for 8 was ready when we got there. We were waited on promptly. Our waitress was ok - came around a couple of times to check on us. The meat servers came around fairly frequently. The food was good and we all loved the salad bar. We did have to ask a couple of times to get my husband a serving of the grilled pineapple but no big deal. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent venue for a family get together for a special occasion. Meats are brought around with great frequency. Accompanying bar of salads and sides is always tasty and fresh, with unique items such as boiled shrimp, smoked salmon, artichoke hearts, fresh mozzarella, and nice vegetables. It is the type of place you go to two to three times a year so as to not spoil the specialness of it by getting burned out on it.
I have been to this restaurant several times. It is my boyfriend's favorite place. This time we sat right behind the front desk and we got "forgotten" by the meat guys all evening. We actually had to ask for a particular item that never made it's way over to our table! Never sitting in this spot again.
This was our first visit. Very impressed with the choices at the salad, appetizer, hot dishes bar. The meats were wonderful and just kept coming, no limit. I definitely ate too much and enjoyed every bite. Service was excellent. Great choice for dining before Asheville Community Theater, right across the street. With an early dinner we actually found parking near both the restaurant and the theater, a real plus in downtown Asheville.
We went there hoping it was a special occasion and made a reservation through OpenTable because we like this style of Steakhouse we have visited several around the country and found that most of the options were tasty but the lamb chops I tried three separate times and they were as tough as shoe leather I was very disappointed
Waitperson did not remove our salad plates and we had to go up to the salad bar to get plates for ourselves when we started the meat entree. Again very slow to remove plates. Still on the table when we began to order dessert. I asked her to remove them. Poor service.
The meat had no taste and was prepared medium rare at best. There were only 3 servers walking around with meat skewers for a restaurant full of people. We sat for 10-15 min at a time with no food on our plates and no servers in site. This was a very unfortunate trip as we drove 2 hours to eat at this restaurant. Will not be back not worth the money or the drive.
The food was way over seasoned. You could not taste the true flavor of the meats due to too much salt and seasoning. Will not be back to this one. I have been to other Brazilian steakhouses and loved the experience. This one rates a zero on our dining options.
Yes, the lamb chops were medium rather than medium rare but all the beef was just right. Some of the bottled wine was supposedly greatly reduced but I thought it was reduced to what it should be sold at, e.g. a Duoro (Portugese red) was $35, down from $60, but it was an under $20 bottle at retail.
Open Table said there was seating only at 5:30 PM, earlier than we wanted, but walk-ins didn't have to wait and by 7 PM the place was half empty. Next time I'll just call the restaurant myself.
